EC3: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Nitro. For the past 5 months, I have helped this brand reach new heights. When my aunt Dixie took over, I was allowed to do whatever I pleased with a few exceptions. Nitro had just been issued in and despite how much I detest the past, more specifically anything to do with the attitude era, I wasn't allowed to change the name. Nitro is a relic of the past. It will always be considered the second to RAW. But what about an alternative. What about a place that was focused on the future? Despite how well I ran this show, the name was always a constant reminder that I was still being held back from doing whatever I wished. Well as of last night that has changed. I have been so successful in my job of general manager that now I have the master key. So let's start with a basic change. There are two constant reminders of the old guard and they're sitting right there.
EC3 turns to the announce table.
EC3: Bobby, I like you and trust me, you'll still have a position in the UWF. Tony, you're fired.
Tony Schiavone: What? But I have a family? How am I going to provide for them?
Bobby Heenan: I'm getting paid to be away from you, this couldn't be any better!
Heenan gleefully leaves the announce desk while security comes out to escort Tony out of the building.
EC3: And so that leaves 2 spots at the announce table open. Don't worry though, I've added a guy who means a lot to this brand. Since the inception of Thunder, this man was there. He fought numerous battles and even became International Champion. So without further adieu, I give you Corey Graves.
Corey Graves comes out from the back to a big applause. He's also trailed by Tom Phillips who got no introduction. Tom walks up behind Graves but Corey just sort of shoves him aside and keeps walking to the announce table and puts on his headset.
Corey Graves: That's right, I'm back home and nobody is going to take this away from me.
Tom Phillips: I'm also here.
Corey Graves: Shut up Tom.
EC3: So with Corey Graves and Tom Philips, my next announcement you should already be able to guess. From this point forward, Nitro is dead and buried. Tonight not only brings in the future but ties to the past. I started out on UWF's third brand almost 4 years ago. NXT. I was nothing more than a lovable loser but my hard work and determination got me plenty of opportunities. King of the Ring, the Royal Rumble, multiple number one contendership opportunities. NXT gave me a chance when no one else wanted to. I knew that if I tried my best, I would always be given a shot. That's how I run this brand today. So ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to the new era of NXT! And it starts with Aztec Warfare.
DING DING DING
The following contest is an Aztec Warfare Match! The match will start with two competitors with a new randomized entrant entering the fray every minute. The only way to be eliminated is by pinfall or submission. There are no count outs, no disqualifications and falls count anywhere. The last man to remain standing out of 30 men will be declared the winner and go on to face Kevin Steen for the International Championship at No Mercy!
Tom Phillips: Randomized entrants? Come on, this isn't fair.
Corey Graves: No one said life was fair Tom. When you disrespect your boss, this is what happens.
Roman Reigns makes his way down the ramp, slightly limping from his battle with Kevin Steen in the Hell in a Cell. He is clearly not 100% but he walks straight down to the ring and stares at EC3 who just shrugs his shoulders and smiles. Before Roman has time to react, the lights go out.
The lights come back on and the entire Wyatt Family makes their way down the ramp with Bray leading the men. Bray stops at the bottom of the ramp though and opens his arms wide. Suddenly, all three other members go ahead and get on the ring apron.
Tom Phillips: Wait a minute, what's going on here, they aren't in the match.
Corey Graves: Have you not been paying attention Tom? There are no disqualifications. Essentially there are no rules. And Bray hasn't exactly been quiet about his strategy.
Roman thinks quick on his feet and hits Braun Strowman with the Superman Punch! Braun goes tumbling down while Harper and Rowan quickly enter the ring and tackle Roman to the mat. The fans boo wildly as Harper and Rowan just rain down shots on the former International Champion. Bray is on the outside, just laughing maniacally as his family does his bidding.
Rowan picks up Roman and holds his arms back while Harper goes to the corner. Luke then runs at him with a big boot but Roman slips out and Rowan gets planted by his own partner! Harper turns around right into a jumping clothesline. Luke gets right back up and runs at Roman with a clothesline but Roman ducks under it. Harper hits the ropes and gets caught with a powerslam on the rebound! Roman Flexs for the crowd showing off his intensity but Braun comes in and decks him from behind. Roman falls to the mat but Bray instructs Braun to get him up into his submission hold. Braun does just what as he asks and puts him in his modified bear hug.

Tom Phillips: And here comes Edge looking to even the playing field.
Corey Graves: Edge? What good has he ever done?
Edge comes running down the ramp and attacks Bray Wyatt. The two men start to slug it out until Edge rams Bray's back into the barricade by the ramp. Braun sees what's going on and decides to let go of Roman to go help Wyatt. Strowman slowly exits the ring and walks behind Edge and headbutts him in the back of the head. Edge collapses right into the arms of Bray Wyatt who quickly bends him over his knee and nails him with the Sister Abigail into the barricade!
Rowan and Harper are back up and Wyatt instructs them to go to the ring and stay on Roman. Braun meanwhile grabs Edge and tosses him into the ring. They place both men parallel to one another as Wyatt slowly creeps his way in. He kneels down between them and smiles at the havoc he's wrecked thus far.

Tom Phillips: It's the Hardcore Champion! And it looks like he's brought some friends!
Corey Graves: I don't care how many weapons he has, he can't take down this army.
Rhino runs down the ramp with a trashcan full of weapons. He drops the can and grabs a kendo stick from it. Wyatt instructs Braun to stop him but Rhino whacks him right in the face as he's exiting the ring. Rhino then slides into the ring but Harper and Rowan try to cut him off. Try is the key word as Rhino just sprints between them and nails Wyatt with the kendo stick. Wyatt falls face down but the numbers game finally catches up with Rhino as Harper and Rowan start to beat him down. Roman starts to stir though and manages to attack Harper from behind. The four men start brawling in the ring but Strowman gets back on his feet.
Strowman pulls Wyatt out of the ring and away from danger before heading to the apron but Edge is back up and he cuts him off. Strowman is able to force himself into the ring despite the shots from Edge. All 6 men are brawling in the center of the ring but the Wyatt Family being the bigger three starts to gain the advantage as they back Edge, Rhino and Roman into the ropes. They shoot all three men off and look to clothesline them on the rebound but all three men duck under and hit the ropes. The Wyatt Family turns around and they all get hit with a Spear/Gore by all three men!
Tom Phillips: And the Wyatt Family goes down! This is there chance to even the score.
Corey Graves: Even the score? What are you talking about Tom this is a blatant 3 on 1 advantage. They should be ashamed for using these tactics. Get out of there Bray!
The three men stare down Wyatt on the outside who has a look of fear in his eyes. Suddenly Edge breaks for the middle while Roman and Rhino leave the ring from the side to cut Bray off from running.

Tom Phillips: The Lethal Weapon is entrant number 5!
Corey Graves: Rhino better watch his back because Dead Prez hasn't forgotten how close he was to becoming the new Hardcore Champion.
Rhino immediatley takes his attention away from Bray Wyatt and instead runs right past him after Blackman who himself is running down the ramp. The two men trade shots while Roman and Edge go after Bray. Luckily for Wyatt, he's already by the trash can filled with weapons so he just grabs the fire extinguisher from it and blinds Roman! Edge though is quick enough to reach Bray before he can use it on him. He kicks Wyatt in the gut and throws him into the ring. Wyatt scoots backwards in the ring, pleading with Edge who hops on the apron. Edge just gets a big smile on his face as he slowly creeps up to Wyatt but Bray grabs him and throws him into the second rope, choking him. Edge turns around grabbing at his throat but Wyatt bends him over his knee and hits him with the Sister Abigail a second time! This time he goes for the cover.

3 . . .
Edge has been eliminated!
Tom Phillips: And the former World Heavyweight Champion has been eliminated after a rather disappointing showing.
Corey Graves: Not every former champion can be as good as me Tom.
Meanwhile Blackman, the fresher of the two gets the advantage in his brawl with Rhino when he knees him in the stomach. He then throws him directly into the trash can filled with weapons. Not satisfied, Blackman pulls out a stop sign and smashes it over the head of Rhino. The Man Beast crawls on all fours away from the ring but Blackman just walks behind him, stalking him until he gets back to his feet.

FAAAAME!
Dolph Ziggler come sprinting out from the back and slides right into the ring to go after Bray Wyatt. He takes Wyatt down and delivers right hands to the top of Bray's skull. Wyatt wiggles his way out and crawls over to the ropes. He uses them to help get up but Dolph goes up behind him for the Zig Zag! Wyatt holds onto the ropes however and Ziggler just slams himself back first onto the mat. Wyatt turns around and smiles but he doesn't know Dolph is already back on his feet and he hits him with a picture perfect dropkick that sends Wyatt out of the ring. Dolph stands up and pumps his fist but Roman slides in behind him and lifts him up for a back suplex but Dolph flips behind him. Roman turns around an eats a superkick right to the face! Dolph hooks the leg for the pin.

2 . . .
And Roman kicks out at 2! Onb the outside, Rhino is leaning on the barricade and that's when Blackman slams the stop sign on his back! You can see the pain on Rhino's face but then it shifts to pure anger as he turns around and stares directly at Blackman. Blackman lifts the sign up high to hit Rhino in the head but Rhino headbutts him first and Blackman falls backwards. Blackman scooches backwards as Rhino walks up to him but Ziggler comes out of nowhere with a diving crossbody to take Rhino out! The crowd pops and Ziggler takes a second to celebrate but Blackman comes up from behind him and throws him shoulder first into the steel ring post.

Tom Phillips: The forecast just came in, and it appears a Hurricane is coming through.
Corey Graves: Please tell me you didn't practice that.
The Hurricane comes down the ramp but Blackman grabs a kendo stick from the trash can and waits for Hurricane to come down. The superhero stops dead in his tracks and waves his finger in the air saying no way. The Dead Prez doesn't wait and decides to take the fight to Hurricane. He runs after him and Hurricane tries to run away but Blackman nails him with a shot to the back. Hurricane falls on all fours and Blackman hits him again, this time in the back of the head.
Rhino is back up and walks up the stage to where Hurricane and Blackman are but Blackman hits him in the stomach with the kendo stick. Rhino is hunched over but Hurricane is getting back to his feet. Blackman turns his attention to the Hurricane and nails him with the bycycke kick! He then pins him on the stage.

Blackman stands back up and smiles. He turns around to finish Rhino but the Man Beast is already charging at him and Gores Blackman off the stage! Both men don't move but Rhino is on top of Blackman and the ref drops down for the cover.

Tom Phillips: Steve Blackman just eliminated the Hurricane but he didn't see Rhino coming and it cost him.
Corey Graves: Who cares because in the end, this is my pick to win the whole thing. CM Punk was the International Champion on NXT in the past and he very well may do it again.
Punk waste no time in hoping off the stage and going over to Rhino and attacking him while he has the advantage. At ringside, Wyatt is putting the boots to Ziggler who's leaning on the barricade. He's targeting the shoulder well but gets spun around by Roman Reigns who hits him with a big uppercut. Roman then grabs Wyatt and throws him into the ring. Meanwhile, Punk picks up Rhino and places him on his shoulders. He throws Rhino up for the GTS but Rhino catches his knee when coming down and throws him backwards with an exploder suplex on the hard cement.
Wyatt crawls away to the other side of the ring and hangs over the bottom rope. Roman smiles and starts to run around the ring to build momentum for the drive by kick but when he turns the corner, Luke Harper appears and clotheslines the holy hell out of him. Wyatt can be seen smiling on the bottom rope, his plan having worked to a tee and Rowan and Braun are both up as well. Bray stands up and leans over the ropes to instruct his family to put Roman through the announce table. What he doesn't notice however is that Ziggler has slid into the ring. He wraps his arms around him and rolls up Wyatt.

But no! Wyatt kicks out at the last split second! Wyatt is furious after nearly being eliminated and he takes it out on Ziggler with multiple closed fists. He then tells his family to finish with Roman. Rowan takes off the announce table cover and Braun gets ready to lift Roman up for the powerbomb until...

Tom Phillips: Jimmy Uso is officially the man entering this match but he's got some family with him.
Corey Graves: Look at these cheaters! It's no wonder Bobby hated them.
The Usos makes a straight beeline for the Wyatt Family. They come from opposite sides of the ring to attack Rowan and Harper. Roman also starts to fight off Braun and a regular six man brawl has started. Bray is confident in his families abilities so he decides to focus on getting rid of the Intercontinental Champion. Bray hits the ropes and comes back with a running senton. All the wind gets taken out of Dolph
Meanwhile Punk is back up and Rhino is starting to sit up but Punk just runs up and kicks him in the face. He looks over towards the ring and sees the Wyatt Family getting the better of the Usos and decides to stay out of it and focus on Rhino. He picks up the Hardcore Champion and throws him into the steel stage. Punk then looks over and notices some tables off to the side of the stage and gets an idea. He walks over and knocks off all the various papers and water bottles and a monitor and then picks up the table and sets it up closer to the stage. He walks over to where Rhino is but the clock starts to count down.

Neville comes out from the back and jumps right on top of Punk and Rhino! The crowd pops accordingly but Neville looks out to the ring and knows there's more fun to be had. He rushes over and slides into the ring. None of the Wyatt Family are paying him any attention, instead focusing on beating down the Anoi clan. Neville hops up to the top turnbuckle and whistles loudly causing all four members of the Wyatt family to turn around. Neville jumps high with a crossbody but Wyatt simply moves out of the way and Strowman just catches him in the air and rams his back into the steel ring post. Neville falls to the mat hard and then the Wyatts just start stomping him down.
Wyatt is all smiles and then he tells them to get back to the Samoans but Ziggler pops up and tries to take on all four men but gets quickly overpowered. Bray tells Strowman not to bother with the small fry and instead take out Roman. Braun picks him up but Roman powers out and gives Strowman a big uppercut that sends him back a few steps. He's off balance and Roman just charges forward and Spears Strow through the corner of the barricade! Harper and Rowan go to help out but the Usos hit double superkicks to knock them out.
The crowd is cheering loudly as Wyatt slowly backs away, cornered by the Usos until...

Corey Graves: Alright, now things are starting to heat up!
Tom Phillips: Are they both coming out right now?
Corey Graves: Anything goes Tom, get with the program.
Matt and Nick Jackson run down the ramp and go over to where the Usos are. The Usos go for some superkicks but the Bucks duck under them and hit superkicks of their own to the Usos! Wyatt laughs, knowing he's been saved once again but then the Young Bucks hit him with a double superkick! Both men lie on top of him and the ref counts the cover.

But Harper and Rowan break up the count! They start beating down on the Young Bucks using their pure size and strength advantage but suddenly Rhino comes flying through the ropes and Gore's Rowan! Harper attacks him while the Hardcore Champion is trying to get back up but Punk comes from behind and kicks him in the leg which buckles him down. Punk then hits a nice float over DDT to plant Harper down. Punk stands up and looks out to the crowd. He doesn't see Neville in the corner run towards him, using Rhino's hunched over body as a boost to jump off of to hit what move, we'll never know because he gets hit in mid air with stereo superkicks!
Punk looks surprised that the Bucks saved him but they didn't do it for him and go right into a 2 on 1 advantage on Punk. Jey Uso gets back to his feet to attack the Bucks but suddenly EC3 gets in his face and tells him he needs to go to the back.
Corey Graves: Here we go, looks like EC3 is restoring some order here. Jey Uso has no business being out here.
Tom Phillips: Oh sure, now he wants to put in some rules so that the Samoans can't even the playing field.
Corey Graves: Relax, he's making them all go away.
Tom Phillips: I think the damage has already been done.
Security comes out from the back and tells Jey he needs to go to the back as well as Rowan and Harper who are starting to get up. The three men are all arguing with officials but EC3 says some words we can't particularly hear but it must be something serious because all 3 men decide to listen and head up the ramp.

Bo Dallas as well as the other 3 members of the Social Outcasts come out pumped about their chance but security is already up the ramp, telling the other three to go back to the back. The Outcasts are furious but Bo calms them down and tells them he's going to be ok because he BOlieves and they need to BOlieve as well. They understand and head to the back with everyone else as Bo confidently walks down to the ring where the Young Bucks have Punk on the ropes.
The Bucks shoot Punk off the ropes but be comes back with a double clothesline. Jimmy Uso slides into the ring but Punk notices it right away and hits a high head kick to Jimmy. Jimmy is about to fall face first but Punk catches him and brings him to his shoulders. He looks out to the crowd before hitting the GTS!

2 . . .
But the Young Bucks break up the count and just start beating on Punk yet again.
Tom Phillips: I think the Young Bucks inadvertently saved Jimmy Uso in order to get some revenge on CM Punk.
Corey Graves: A small miscalculation by the Bucks but it ultimately will mean nothing because there's no way Jimmy Uso wins this whole thing.
Neville is seen getting back on the apron and heads to the top rope. The Bucks are still stomping away at Punk but Jimmy is prone in the ring. Neville jumps off and lands the Red Arrow on Jimmy! |He stays on him for the cover.
1 . . .
2 . . .
But the Young Bucks break up the count and attack Neville this time. They stomp down on him a couple of times before throwing him out of the ring.
Tom Phillips: Not quite sure what the Young Bucks are hoping to accomplish.
Corey Graves: They must not want anyone else to eliminate Jimmy Uso. They want to do it themselves.
Bo hops onto the apron and looks to finally enter this match. The Young Bucks both face him and wait for him to enter but on the other side of the ring, Neville gets up and gets immediatley Speared on the outside by Roman Reigns! Reigns covers him and hooks the leg.

Spike Dudley comes running out with a full head of steam. Bo moves off to the side and lets Spike run straight into the ring and attack the Bucks. Roman enters as well and together the unlikely team of Roman Reigns and Spike Dudley start to take it to the World Tag Team Champions. They're both delivering wild shots that are taking the Bucks by surprise. Roman clotheslines Nick to the mat while Spike takes it to Matt but Matt takes down Spike with a low blow! Spike falls down and Matt runs towards Reigns, looking for a hurrincanrana but Roman catches him, lifts him high up and powerbombs him onto his brother Nick! Roman is all smiles but he gets turned around and in one fell swoop, planted to the mat with the Sister Abigail! Bray then makes the cover.

The crowd boos loudly as Wyatt slowly crawls backwards out of the ring with a big smile on his face. The smile soon gets wiped off by a superkick from Dolph Ziggler! Ziggler then gets hit with a lariat to the back of the head by Bo Dallas who has finally decided to fight. Instead of following up, Bo lifts his arms up and decides to take a victory lap around the ring. Bo turns one of the corner and Rhino pops out of nowhere and goes for the Gore! Bo is able to hop over him and Rhino trips up on the floor. While he's getting up, Bo runs up behind him with a bulldog. Bo celebrates once again as the timer starts to run down.

Tom Phillips: And now it looks like Daniel Bryan has entered the match.
Corey Graves: Very observant Tom. If I was Daniel Bryan I'd watch out though, Bo Dallas is on a roll.
Bo stops celebrating at the ramp and stops to star at Bryan. Bryan walks down the ramp and Bo runs into the ring. Bryan chases after and slides in but Bo starts to attack him before he can enter the ring. This seems to work temporarily but Bryan is able to get back to his feet and start kicking Bo right in his leg, buckling him down to a knee. From there Bryan starts to throw kicks to the chest of Bo, each time the crowd cheering "Yes!" in unison. After five kicks, Bryan backs up, looking to hit the final blow but Punk grabs his leg and drags him out of the ring. The two men start to brawl, throwing forearm after forearm at one another. Bo is still in the ring standing upright on his knees in a daze but Spike hits the ropes in front of him and levels Bo with a dropkick right to the face!
Bryan and Punk are starting to fight there way up the ramp with Bryan, the fresher of the two gaining a bit of an advantage. Rhino slides into the ring and goes after Spike with a clothesline but the littlest Dudley ducks under it and hits the ropes to come back with a crossbody. Rhino catches him in mid air though and shakes his head. Rhino pops him up in the air, perhaps looking for a powerbomb but Spike reverses it into a hurrincanrana. He keeps the legs hooked for a pin.

But Rhino kicks out! The Man Beast immediately stands up and kicks Spike in the gut. He lifts him straight in the air and plants him down with the brainbuster. Tom Phillips: Hardcore Holly!? What the hell is he doing out here!?
Corey Graves: Who cares, this is awesome!
Holly comes out with two trash can lids and smashes them over Punk and Bryan's heads. He runs straight down to the ring and slides in. Ziggler tries to cut him off with a clothesline but Holly ducks under it. Ziggler turns around and Holly just starts throwing rights, knocking Ziggler back into the ropes until he clotheslines him out of the ring. Holly turns around and gets kicked in the gut by both Young Bucks. They shoot him off the ropes and Nick follows him and hits the mat but instead of Holly jumping over him on the rebound, Hardcore just stops and knees Nick on the side of the head. Matt runs at Holly but Hardcore just ducks and catches him before planting him down with the Alabama Slam!
Tom Phillips: Hardcore Holly is cleaning house!
Corey Graves: Is it too late to change my pick? I think Hardcore Holly goes all the way.
Rhino gets back up to his feet and charges at Hardcore with a Gore but Holly reverses with a drop toe hold. Rhino's face bounces off the mat but Holly doens't give him any rest. He brings the Hardcore Champion to his feet and lifts him up for the falcon arrow!
Corey Graves: He did the deal!
Tom Phillips: What?
Corey Graves: Nobody ever kicks out of the falcon arrow!
Tom Phillips: Is this a reference to something?
Holly gets back to his feet but Ziggler is back up as well. Dolph runs at Holly and jumps up but Hardcore moves out of the way and Dolph gets hung on the top rope. Holly grabs his feet while he's still hunched over the rope and kicks him right in the gut. Dolph falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring as the timer runs down.

Teddy Hart comes out from the back and just stares at Hardcore Holly who is all alone in the ring, begging him to come down. Teddy just slowly walks down the ramp, taking his time, especially after just watching Hardcore Holly take nearly everyone out. Holly walks up to the ropes and yells out "Hurry up you little shithead!" but Bo Dallas enters the ring and sneaks us behind him, rolling him up.

Teddy just laughs on the ramp but Holly is having none of it as he gets revenge on Bo, beating the holy hell out of him by just clubbing him on the back over and over again. Security rushes down from the back but Holly exits the ring and grabs a steel chair from ringside and starts to take security out, one by one. The chair is virtually useless as it's all bent up and there is a pile of downed security but Teddy Hart comes flying over the top rope with a corkscrew plancha to take out Holly. More security comes out from the back to drag Holly away as Teddy grabs Jey Uso and throws him inside of the ring.
Teddy slides into the ring but gets hit with a back kick by Jimmy. Jimmy then irish whips Teddy into the ropes and when Teddy comes back, he pops him up into the air, looking for a samoan drop but Teddy wraps his legs around Jimmy's head and throws him with a hurrincanrana. Jimmy falls to the outside and Teddy wants to take advantage of the opportunity. He runs to the ropes to build some momentum before coming back but he gets stopped with a knee to the gut by Spike Dudley.
Bray Wyatt slides into the ring behind them and Spike pushes Teddy towards him. Bray grabs Teddy in a waist lock and goes for a german suplex but Teddy lands on his feet behind him. Hart pushes Bray forward and Spike lowers the rope as Bray tumbles out of the ring. Teddy tells Spike to hit the ropes and jumps on Wyatt and he obliges. Spike runs the ropes but Teddy follows him and knees him in the gut to exact some revenge. He then throws him to the ground and heads up top as the next participant is ready to come out.

Finlay runs down the ramp and Teddy hops down, knowing he and Finlay have a score to settle. Teddy tries to cut him off by jumping out of the ring on top of him but Finlay just moves out of the way and Teddy lands back first on the floor below. Finlay just drops down and starts to punch him in the face to teach him a lesson. Bray Wyatt is getting back up on the outside but Daniel Bryan comes walking down the ramp and kicks him in the stomach. Wyatt tries to crawl away but Bryan stomps him on the back of the head to stop him. The crowd can be heard reacting to something and Bryan notices Braun Strowman start to get up from being speared through the barricade earlier.
Corey Graves: And the giant has awoken.
Tom Phillips: Looks like we're going to need security back out here again.
Bryan rushes over to where Strowman is and goes on the attack. Ziggler gets up and notices it too and also goes over to help. Punk comes down the ramp and goes over to lend a hand as well as does Finlay. Spike goes over to help out as well but he gets stopped by the Young Bucks who kick him in the gut and throw him into the ring instead. The bucks slide into the ring and Matt picks up Spike before dropping him down on his knee. Matt keeps him there while Nick runs over and hits a neckbreaker onto his knee. Nick then hooks the leg for the cover.

And Spike kicks out! The bucks continue to attack the Dudley brother until Jimmy Uso slides into the ring and helps even the odds.
Corey Graves: An Uso and a Dudley working together. It just proves how good the Young Bucks are.
Jimmy and Spike start to gain the advantage until the Bucks poke them both in the eye. The brothers too sweet each other before hitting the ropes and coming back but they get kicked in the gut and planted with a double DDT. Matt rolls out of the ring while Spike grabs Nick and stands him up. He grabs his neck and runs towards Jimmy who helps push him off for the Dudley Dog! Spike turns him over for the pin.

But Matt grabs his leg from the outside and drags him out of the ring. Those two begin to brawl while Jimmy heads up to the top rope. Apollo Crews comes out from the back and double clothesline Matt and Spike Dudley. He walks over to where the heap of bodies is and grabs the person closest to him which is Finlay and throws him into the ring. Apollo goes up top and waits for Finlay to get to his feet. When Finlay finally does Apoolo leaps off but Finlay just clothesline the hell out of him on the way down. Crews is knocked loopy and Finlay just picks him up and hits the Celtic Cross.

Tom Phillips: The Irishman proving that he's no longer goes to take a back seat to these new guys.
Corey Graves: Hey may not be young, he may not be flashy but he's certainly effective.
Teddy slides into the ring and starts stomp on Finlay. He yells in his face telling him he's going to pull the plug on his career. On the outside Rhino has gotten up and he goes after Bray Wyatt while Bryan and Punk are once again fighting with each other. Punk goes for a high kick but Bryan catches his leg over his shoulder and drops down on his knees. Punk grabs at his own knee but Bryan keeps ahold of the leg and twists him with a dragon screw. Punk winds up on his back but Bryan still had a hold of the leg. He turns him over and hooks in a single leg boston crab while the time runs down.

Corey Graves: Just when it looked like Punk was in trouble, here comes his fellow Bulletproof member.
Balor comes running over to where Punk is and takes Bryan out with a big front dropkick. He checks on Punk for a bit but Punk tells him he's okay so Balor walks over and picks Bryan up only to throw him directly into the barricade. In the ring, Teddy has placed Finlay on the top rope and starts to climb up himself. It looks like Teddy might try for a hurrincanrana from the top rope but Finlay starts to fight back with shots to the mid section. It seems to deter Teddy and the Irishman is able to place Hart onto his shoulder. He then stands up on the middle rope and jumps off with the Rolling Hills onto Teddy! He's too tired to follow through with a pin though and Teddy wisely rolls out of the ring.
On the outside, Bray is resting up against the barricade while Rhino looks under the ring for some weapons. He comes back up with a steel chair in hand but when he turns around he gets hit with an uppercut. Wyatt takes the chair away and hits Rhino across the back with it. The Hardcore Champion is getting a taste of his own medicine but Wyatt isn't finished. He puts the edge of the chair on Rhino's throat and throws him into the steel ring post! Rhino falls back choking as Wyatt smiles at him. He suddenly gets turned around by Bo Dallas and the two brothers stare each other down.
Tom Phillips: Uh oh, what's going to happen here?
The brothers are forehead to forehead, jacking jaws with one another but the family affair is broken up by a pair of superkicks! The Young Bucks celebrate but Jimmy Uso comes running at them. Of course Jimmy eats a pair of superkicks next but instead of going for the cover. They pick up Jimmy and throw him over the announce table. Then Nick and Matt stand by, making sure nobody comes near Jimmy.
Tom Phillips: Wait a minute, are they...are they guarding Jimmy Uso?
Corey Graves: Oh my God, this is perfect Tom. They want Jimmy Uso to win the whole thing. Don't you get it, if Jimmy wins, Kevin Steen is basically a lock to retain at No Mercy. This is brilliant!

Tom Phillips: Carlito's back!
Corey Graves: But has he finally figured out what it takes to become International Champion?
Carlito comes behind Punk and Balor who are putting the boot to Bryan and helps Bryan fend off the attackers. Bulletproof easily overpowers him though and throws him onto the apron. Punk tells Balor to go up top while Punk starts hammering Carlito with shots to the chest, keeping him in place as the upper half of his body is outside of the ring. Balor leaps off the top rope and nails him with the Coup De Grace on the apron! Carlito slumps to the mat below and Balor pins him.

Punk and Balor go back on the attack against Bryan but Spike and Ziggler come over to even the odds. Spike seems to be going wild with a flurry of shots on Punk before he kicks him and grabs his head. He runs to the apron, looking for the Dudley Dog from the outside but Punk just chunks him into the audience. This allows him to help out Finn against Ziggler but Spike quickly reemerges and climbs on top of the barricade. He jumps at Punk and Punk sees him coming and takes a step back before lifting his knee, essentially hitting the GTS on Spike! Punk then hooks the leg.

Tom Phillips: Candice LeRae is back on Nitro!
Corey Graves: Before RAW had a women's division, this girl changed the game with the first Intergender tag match in UWF history. Could she be out here to help Bulletproof?
Candice comes running down the ramp and slides into the ring. She looks to where Bryan is and gets some revenge as he dives out of the ring with a suicide dive into a swinging DDT that plants Bryan down on the mat. Punk isn't sure what to make of this but he shrugs his shoulders and gives Candice a high five. He then turns away to attack Bryan but Candice goes behind him and grabs his balls and throws him back with the Ballplex! The crowd loses their mind as Balor turns around and yells at Candice wondering what the hell she's doing. Candice points behind him and Balor turns around into a superkick from Ziggler! Balor is stunned and Dolph follows up with a Zig Zag and a pin!

The crowd cheers as Bulletproof's brief reign of terror has ended. Candice high fives Dolph and Ziggler turns his back on her but she once again uses the opportunity to hit another Ballplex! Candice is revered by the crowd but she suddenly eats a superkick from Matt Jackson. Matt then walks over to Nick and they have a brief conversation before Matt picks up Candice and throws her over the announce table where Jimmy Uso is.
Tom Phillips: And it looks like Candice LeRae is a potential back up plan for the Young Bucks.
Corey Graves: While Steen would have a serious size and strength advantage over her, I wouldn't be surprised to see her put on a hell of a match in the main event of No Mercy.
Bray Wyatt enters the ring and hits a running club to the back of Finlay who is just starting to get up. Bray then hits the ropes and comes back with a running senton but Finlay rolls out of the way. Bray lands flat on his back and Finlay jumps up and sits on the chest of Wyatt with his own senton. Finlay turns around though and eats a roundhouse kick from Teddy Hart. The crowd boos loudly but Teddy goes up top. Once ready, he leaps off with a shooting star leg drop that lands perfectly on Finlay. He rolls over into a lateral press as the ref counts

Tom Phillips: It's Sting! A pioneer from the early days of NXT!
Corey Graves: Yeah but then he changed it to Anarchy so screw him. While we're at it, I'm glad we're done with Nitro.
Sting appears on the stage as Wyatt goes wide eyed. Sting starts to calmly walk down the ramp but Bray is eager to make a statement as he exits the ring and meets Sting halfway and a brawl ensues on the stage. Wyatt ends up getting the advantage with a knee to the gut. He grabs Sting and throws him into the steel barricade by the stage. He picks up Sting's head and yells that he is the new face of fear but Sting grabs him from the throat and gets back to a vertical base. He trips up Wyatt with an STO to get him on his back. Then he grabs Bray's legs and steps through to lock on the Scorpion Death Lock!
Wyatt is in absolute pain, trying to claw is way out of the hold. On the other side of the ring. Braun Strowman comes to life and walks over to get to where Bray is. Bo tries to stop him but gets a headbutt to the skull. Rhino runs at him but he gets taken down with a clothesline. Strowman finally reaches over to Wyatt and Sting lets go of the hold and runs up the ramp and to the back. Strowman helps Bray to his feet as Wyatt laughs telling him to run old man. The laughing stops when Sting comes back out with his signature black baseball bat in hand. Strowman walks up the ramp to stop him but he gets hit right in the stomach. Strowman hunches over but then Sting hits him in the back of his knees which causes him to fall to his knees. Strowman is just kneeling before Sting as Bray watches. Sting then unloads with a shot right to the side of the head and Strowman collapses on the stage.

Dan Lawrence comes out from the back and looks to attack Sting from behind but Sting just turns around and just hits him in the chest with his bat. Wyatt takes advantage with Stings back turned and blindsides him. He grabs the bat from off the ground and uses it against the Icon by whacking him on the back multiple times. Wyatt poses as the crowd drains him in boos. He lays down next to Sting and then spider walks around him, circling his prey as Sting struggles to get to his feet. Wyatt flips over and waits until Sting is finally of his knees before he picks him up the rest of the way and hits him with the Sister Abigail!

Rey Mysterio comes running down the ramp and nails Daniel Bryan with a nice headscissors. He keeps running forward and hops into the ring. He looks at Matt and Nick Jackson who are safeguarding both Jimmy and Candice. He tells them to turn around because Candice and Jimmy are starting to get up. The Bucks put the boots to Jimmy and Candice and turn back around and that's when Rey hops over the ropes with a plancha to take out both brothers. Rey pumps his fist in the air, hoping to get cheers from the crowd but all they do is boo the wannabe hero.
Dolph Ziggler comes around the corner and tries to take Rey out with a superkick but Rey ducks under it. Dolph turns around and Rey runs at him and lands a wheelbarrow bulldog! Bo Dallas slides into the ring and tries to take out Rey with a baseball slide but Rey slides into the ring to avoid it. Bo gets up and Rey runs at him and connects with another headscissors that sends Bo flying into the second rope. Rey points to the heavens and the crowd boos, knowing what's coming next. On the outside, the Bucks realize Candice is in the ring and they go to stop her but they get taken out with a double clothesline by Dan Lawrence.
Corey Graves: Dirty DL getting some revenge against two of the four men who super kicked him at Wrestlemania and put him on the shelf for a month.
Tom Phillips: And it looks like Jimmy could be the next in line.
Jimmy Uso slowly turns around and Dan Lawrence lifts him off his feet, looking for an Alabama slam through the announce table but Jimmy flips over him into a sunset flip. Lawrence just rolls backwards and up to his feet but gets taken out with a superkick by Jimmy! Jimmy then hooks the leg.

Corey Graves: Alright here we go! Samoa Joe decimated Apollo Crews last week, i can only imagine what he's going to do to the rest of these competitors.
Tom Phillips: Well it looks like we won't have to wait long.
Bryan and Rhino are standing in the ring, waiting for Joe enter. Joe gets on the apron and Bryan runs at him but eats a forearm to the face. Rhino charges next but Joe sticks his boot through the middle rope and kicks Rhino in the face. Both Bryan and Rhino are staggered and Joe comes in with a double clothesline. He picks up Rhino and brings him to the corner. There he chops him as hard as he can and the crowd "Woos" just on pure instinct. He pushes Rhino's head back to expose his chest again and delivers another nasty chop. Daniel Bryan comes running at Joe for a corner dropkick but Joe moves out of the way and Rhino gets nailed right in the face!
Bryan is trying to get up from the dropkick but Joe is right on top of him. He grabs Bryan in a waistlock on the ground and then lifts him up in a dominator position. He walks to the center of the ring and just drops to his knees, breaking the back of Bryan over his shoulder. CM Punk then makes his way into the ring and the two men stare each other down.
Corey Graves: Here we go! These two men have a ton of history outside of UWF.
Tom Phillips: Whether it's a friendship or a rivalry, all of it has to go out the door when a shot at the International Championship is at stake.
Punk and Joe are forehead to forehead until Punk takes the first swing. Then it's an all out brawl as they trade forearm shots. Joe starts to get the better of Punk but the Best in the World kicks Joe in the gut. Joe is leaning over so Punk hooks his arms and hits a double underhook backbreaker. Joe is lying on the mat and Punk drops on top of him and tries to lock in the Anaconda Vice. Joe is fighting it off however shots to the head and then a headbutt to the chin. Punk stands up and walks away, grabbing at his face. He can feel Joe get back to his feet so Punk turns around and takes a wild swing but Joe ducks under and locks in the Rear Naked Choke! He then runs at him, looking for the big splash but Joe catches him and drops him down to the mat with a huge STO!
Corey Graves: Hoss fight!
Joe walks around Big E on the mat, angry that Big E would dare try and stop him. He goes to pick up Big E but E just grabs him in a front waist lock and plants him with a Belly to Belly. Big E is feeling it as he lowers the straps and backs away. Joe is getting up in the corner and Big E rushes over and crashes into Joe! Big E turns around though and gets knocked out with a double super kick by the Young Bucks! The Bucks are happy but Ziggler slides in behind them and rolls up Nick Jackson.

Nick looks back at Joe and Jimmy capitalizes with a superkick of his own! Jimmy is full of energy and he excitedly pushes Joe, trying to hype him up. Joe doesn't take kindly to it however and takes Jimmy's head off with a lariat. He then picks up Jimmy and takes him to the corner and places him on top of the turnbuckles. Corey Graves: Former tag team partner but most importantly former International Champion! He was undefeated his entire time on NXT/Anarchy and even took that streak with him to Smackdown. Some say he's still undefeated to this day!
Tom Phillips: That some of course being Fandango himself.
Corey Graves: Semantics.
Fandango dances on the top of the stage. Teddy Hart makes his way over to stop the overconfident Fandango. He tries to strike Fandango several times but the former International Champion is able to dodge each strike with a dance. He then grabs ahold of Teddy and hits a swinging reverse STO! Big E is back up and takes down Fandango with a big body block. He grabs Fandango and puts him on his shoulders looking for the Big Ending. Fandango rolls off of the ramp to the floor below but Rhino tries to follow suit until Wyatt attacks him from behind. He clubs him multiple times in the back before throwing him inside the ring. Wyatt comes running back but Rhino catches him with a scoop powerslam! Rhino walks over to the corner and kneels down, prepping himself for the Gore. Wyatt is using the ropes to get but but suddenly Rhino's foot gets grabbed and he's dragged out by CM Punk.
Punk hits multiple forearm shots on the outside before irish whipping Rhino into the steel steps! Wyatt gets up in the ring but Mysterio is on the top rope waiting for him. He jumps off and lands on him with the seated senton. Wyatt tries to get to his feet but Rey front dropkicks him from behind and sends him laying over the second rope. Rey runs to the ropes to build some momentum for the 619 but Matt Jackson superkicks his knee and Rey falls to the floor.
Tom Phillips: Matt Jackson targeting that historically bad knee of Rey Mysterio's.
Corey Graves: You've got to believe that with both Jimmy and Candice out, Matt is just focused on winning this whole thing himself.
Over by the stage. Teddy Hart has gotten back up and he jumps off the ramp to hit Fandango with a hurrincanrana. Fandango goes smashing into the side of the stage. Teddy looks to follow up but gets an idea in his head. He looks over to the table that was set up earlier by CM Punk and brings Fandango over. He smashes his head on the table and then puts him onto it. Teddy then climbs up on top of the stage. The crowd gets on their feet but Teddy isn't satisfied. Instead he starts to climb the structure that holds the Titantron up. Teddy stops at about 30 feet high up in the air. He looks down and makes a leap of faith, crashing down hard on top of Fandango and going through the table! Neither man is responsive but Teddy is lying on top of Fandango and the ref counts the cover.

Bryan stands up but gets immediately confronted by CM Punk. Punk and Bryan trade strikes until Punk hits him with a spinning back kick to the gut. Bryan hunches over and Punk lifts him up before dropping him face first on the apron. Punk laughs but then starts to notice Wyatt coming to on the other side of the ring. Punk walks over to help take down the big man once and for all. He grabs Bray and looks like he's going to throw him into something but then he looks at the stage and smiles. He drops Wyatt and instead walks up the ramp, jumping off by the side. Teddy Hart is still lying motionless and Punk just laughs. Punk is all smiles as he hops back up on the ramp but Bray Wyatt is now back up and decides to meet him halfway. The brawl down the ramp with Punk getting the upperhand but a well timed knee to the gut stops his momentum. Wyatt rolls Punk into the ring and creeps in himself, waiting for Punk to get to his feet. Once he does, Wyatt tries to get him in position for the Sister Abigail but Punk reverse with an inverted STO. Punk turns Wyatt over and instead of going for the pin, he decides to go up top. He climbs the top turnbuckle, maybe looking for an elbow drop but Ziggler hops on the apron and shakes the ropes causing him to fall.
Instead of Ziggler following up, Rey Mysterio hops onto the ropes and tightwalks his way over to Punk to hit a hurrincanrana off the top rope! Rey quickly heads up top to finish the job with the big splash. He leaps off but Ziggler comes and dropkicks him in mid air with perfect accuracy. Ziggler stands up but Wyatt takes him down with a big body block. Instead of following up on Dolph, he grounds Punk and starts beating him with closed fists. The crowd starts booing loudly and although Wyatt thinks its for him, Seth Rollins actually comes out from the back.
Tom Phillips: Seth Rollins, what the hell is he doing out here?
Corey Graves: He's a former International Champion. A big part of NXT's past, we should be grateful he's here.
Wyatt doesn't notice Seth slide into the ring before it's too late as he gets hit with a big knee across the side of the head. Wyatt falls down but Seth stays on him with a barrage of shots to the head. He then brings him up to his knees and sticks his head between his legs before jumping up and planting him with the Pedigree. Punk is laughing at what just transpired as he covers Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt has been eliminated
Tom Phillips: I can't believe this. I'm glad Wyatt got a taste of his own medicine but that doesn't mean it should have happened this way.
Corey Graves: Stop being a hypocrite Tom, Punk is a genius. Instead of flaunting his plan like Bray, he waited for the right opportunity to unleash it.
Rollins helps Punk get to his feet but Rhino comes charging at them with a double clothesline. The Hardcore Champion goes directly at Seth in order to pacify him quickly. He picks him up and hits a nice pumphandle slam. Rhino goes to wait in the corner for Punk to get up. Punk is taking awhile to get back on his feet but the crowd starts to boo loudly. Rhino's not sure what's going on but suddenly he gets whacked on the head from the outside. Steve Blackman has come back down with a pair on nunchucks and starts to go to town on the Man Beast.
Tom Phillips: What happened to security? We need some guys out here to stop people like Rollins and Blackman.
Corey Graves: Blackman isn't taking his loss at Vengeance too well and if he can't face Kevin Steen at No Mercy, he sure as hell won't let Rhino do it.
Blackman backs Rhino into the corner, repeatedly hitting him with the nunchucks until he's seated in the corner. From there, he exits the ring and comes back in with a chair. He walks over and wedges it in between the bottom and middle rope, directly in the face of Rhino. He then go to the adjacent corner of the ring and climbs up top. The fans boo, knowing what comes next. Blackman goes coast to coast and nails Rhino in the face! He drags Rhino's lifeless body in the center of the ring and leaves him there to be eliminated. Security now comes out from the back and makes both Blackman and Rollins head to the back. Dolph reluctantly goes over and thinks about it for a second before just saying screw it and pinning the Hardcore Champion.

Corey Graves: And we're now down to four men. One of these guys main event No Mercy in just a few short weeks.
Ziggler, Bryan, Mysterio and Punk all stand in a corner of the ring. They look at one another, seeing who's going to make the first move. Everyone at the same time has the same idea with Punk and Bryan going after one another and Mysterio and Ziggler fighting off on their own. Dolph has an obvious power advantage over Rey and ties him up in the corner. He lifts him onto the top turnbuckle and tries to get on the second rope but Mysterio kicks him off. Dolph falls back a few steps but it's just enough breathing room for Rey to stand up, hop to the top rope and jump off with a flying crossbody!
Dolph rolls out of the ring but Rey walks over and stands by the side of the ring, waiting for Dolph to turn around, once he does, Rey flips over with a somersault and lands in perfect position to hurrincanrana Ziggler into the barricade! Mean while Daniel Bryan has Punk in the corner. He lifts Punk's leg over the middle rope and kicks it multiple times, trying to weaken the knee. Bryan then grabs Punk's other leg and positions it the same way. Punk is able to elbow Bryan on the top of the head twice but it doesn't deter Bryan. Punk is now trapped so Bryan runs over to the opposite corner, then runs back and hits a big dropkick to Punk. Punk falls to the mat face first but Bryan keeps running and dives to the outside with a suicide dive on Mysterio!
Tom Phillips: The action flying fast and heavy now. You can tell nobody wants to give anyone any room to breathe.
Corey Graves: Nor should they. You've got a big opportunity placed right in front of you, you have to do whatever it takes to win.
Bryan grabs Rey and throws him into the ring. Mysterio lies prone and Bryan heads to the top rope. The adrenaline is flowing through him as he hasn't slowed down in the slightest since this burst of offense. Bryn then comes off with a flying headbutt but Rey moves out of the way at the last second. Bryan lands face first and Rey quickly hook's Bryan's arms with his legs and arms and turns him over for a crucifix pin.

But Bryan manages to kick out at the last second! Rey gets up on his knees and holds up three fingers, asking the ref if it was a 3. Suddenly Ziggler comes from behind him and nails the Famouser on Rey! Before he can capitalize, Punk comes running out of the corner with a shining wizard! The Best in the World then grabs Dolph and send him to the corner. Punk runs at him and hits a step up knee followed by a bulldog in the center of the ring. Punk is feeling it and he motions that it's nap time and he's ready to put Dolph to bed. Bryan sneaks behind him though and looks for a Dragon Suplex but Punk fights it off with some back elbow shots to the head. He turns around and kicks Bryan in the gut before hitting him with a quick short piledriver!
Punk gets to his feet and once again motions for the GTS He looks at Dolph and Bryan, seeing which one will rise up first. Suddenly, Rey runs towards the ropes and comes back at Punk. The Bulletproof member is caught off guard as Rey wheelbarrows into a victory roll but Rey grabs Punk's hands and pushes his legs on top of Punk's legs in a prawn hold and the ref counts the cover.

The crowd bursts into cheers as Punk looks shocked beyond all belief. Even Rey himself looks a bit shocked but even more so when Punk stands up and kicks him right in the face.
Tom Phillips: Now this is just unnecessary, you lost the match.
Corey Graves: Hey Punk has every right to be angry, he just lost an opportunity to fight for the International Championship to a fluke roll up.
Punk doesn't let up as he keeps stomping on Mysterio. He brings the luchador up to his feet and places him on his shoulders. He then lifts him up and drives his knee right into his face, ending Mysterio's chances of fighting for the championship without the Money in the Bank for good. Bryan then crawls over and covers Rey.

Rey Mysterio has been eliminated
Security comes out again to stop any further interference in this match but Punk willingly goes as his revenge has been carried out.
Corey Graves: And now it's down to two. We'll either get Kevin Steen vs Daniel Bryan or a champion vs champion encounter.
Dolph Ziggler gets back to his feet as does Daniel Bryan and the two circle one another. Ziggler tries to shoot for Bryan's leg but Bryan instead comes down hard with a knee right to the shoulder Bray Wyatt targeted earlier in the match. Dolph clutches at his shoulder but Bryan grabs a hold of the arm and tries to find a way to hook in the YES lock. Ziggler rolls through though and is able to get back to a vertical base. From there he punches Bryan in the stomach a few times to free his arm. From there he jumps at Bryan and connects with the jumping DDT! He then goes for the cover.
1 . . .
2 . . .
And a kickout from Bryan! Dolph grabs at his shoulder while Bryan rolls out to the apron. Ziggler slaps his shoulder a few times to try to get some feeling back into it. He decides not to let this opportunity go to waste so he goes over to the ropes and steps through but Bryan grabs his arm and fully rorates around while falling to the mat, hanging Ziggler's arm on the second rope in the process. Ziggler falls back in the ring and once again holds his arm. Bryan slides in and when Dolph turns around, he gets nailed with the Dragon Bite!

But Ziggler kicks out!
Tom Phillips: Dolph Ziggler stays in this!
Corey Graves: It's Dolph's instinct kicking in because he looks like he;s out of it.
Indeed Dolph hasn't moved and inch and his eyes look glazed over. Bryan is shocked but he doesn't give Ziggler any time to recuperate. He grabs Ziggler's arms and steps through to kick Dolph's fucking head in with multiple stomps right to the face. And a kickout at 1 this time! The crowd is loving it as the Intercontinental Champion continues to show heart in the face of adversary. All this does however is piss of Bryan who grabs Ziggler and hooks his arms for a dragon suplex. Dolph though reverses and lands on his feet. Bryan gets up and gets taken down with the Zig Zag! The crowd cheers but Dolph is too spent to make the cover.
Corey Graves: This is what professional wrestling is all about. Two guys just going out there and giving it everything they've got.
Tom Phillips: One man the future, one man the present. Which one will walk out here the number one contender to the International Championship.
Corey Graves: Well I don't know if they'll be able to walk out but they certainly will have proven that they deserve a spot in the main event of No Mercy.
Both men start to slowly reach a vertical base. They meet up in the middle of the ring and start to trade shots. Dueling chants can be heard throughout the arena as back and forth these men trade right hands. Bryan finally lands one hard enough that Dolph staggers back a bit. Ziggler comes back swinging wildly but Bryan catches it and brings Dolph in for a butterfly suplex but transitions it mid air into a cross armbreaker! Dolph is quickly able to clasp is hands together to prevent Bryan from getting a full extension. Ziggler is able to get to his knees and then to his feet before he returns the favor and starts to kick Daniel Bryan in the face until he releases the hold.
Bryan quickly gets to his feet but Ziggler tries to cut him off with sitout facebuster. Bryan is able to land hands first to avoid contact as Ziggler lands on his ass. Bryan then jumps forward and hits a short Dragon Bite right to Ziggler's face! Not wanting to take any chances, Bryan then grabs Dolph and hooks in the YES lock. It doesn't take long for Ziggler to tap out and the bell rings.
[bigHere is your winner, and the Number One Contender to the International Championship, Daniel Bryan!
Tom Phillips: And Daniel Bryan! Daniel Bryan will face Kevin Steen at No Mercy!
Corey Graves: And let's of course not take anything away from Dolph Ziggler, he gave it all he had tonight but the long match just drained too much out of him and Daniel Bryan was able to capitalize off of it.
Daniel Bryan celebrates in the ring as confetti drops from the rafters for the first ever winner of Aztec Warfare.
