As the opening video finishes, things go live to the inside of the arena as pyrotechnics go off from the stage and the camera pans around to get a shot of the Revolution fans in attendance before panning to the commentary table where Corey Graves, Mauro Ranallo, and Tom Phillips are standing by.
Mauro Ranallo: Hello everyone and welcome to Revolution! I'm Mauro Ranallo along with my broadcast partners Tom Phillips and former International Champion Corey Graves.
Corey Graves: It's the last show before our big 10 year anniversary, Slammiversary and what better way to cap it off then with a Champion vs Champion match!
Tom Phillips It's Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins looking to end another streak when he takes on UWF Champion CM Punk.
Mauro Ranallo: But that's not all we have on tap. The newly returned Big Show looks to prove just how dominant he can be when he takes on Dolph Ziggler.
Tom PhillipsAnd there's more intense action when Eddie Kingston looks to bounce back after last week when he faces John Cena.
Corey Graves:Talk about a match that would put anyone sleep. I can't stand either of those guys but luckily, The Con Man is back and he's ready to take the fight to Bryan Danielson.
Mauro Ranallo: But first, it's El Genercio taking on Hornswoggle in our opening contest. Leads head down to the ring right now!
Chimel: Next... from Dublin, Ireland... weighing in at 147 pounds... The King, Hornswoggle!
"Down With The King" by Run DMC hits as King Hornswoggle come out to a chrous of boos and he smiles wearing his crown. He walks down the entrance ramp waving all to his peasants as he turns to the right and he walk up the steel steps. He walk along the ropes as he stops and he slides under the ring ropes.
The fans are up out of their seats and booing as the Legendary generic luchador comes out from the back full of energy. Why would the crowd boo such a iconic performer? Well because they don't buy the act. Of course his manager Sami Zayn is nowhere to be seen as he makes his way down the ramp, trying to slap hands with fans but they are giving him nothing.
Tony Chimel: From Tijuana Mexico, weighing in at 211 pounds, El Generico!
Generico slides into the ring and throws up his index finger with an "Ole!". Nobody's buying it but that doesn't affect Generico in the slightest who takes off his cape and gets ready for his match.
VS
DING DING DING
The bell rings and Swoggle takes off right after Generico. The masked man doesn't really know what's going on and tries to cover up as best as possible while Swoggle starts unloading on him in the corner. Well, mostly his legs. Generico decides to just lean back into the ropes with his arms holding him up before he just kicks Swoggle back and the King goes flying backwards. Swoggle scurries up to his feet and comes running right back at him and Generico tries to run away. Around and around in circles they go as Swoggle is screaming while giving him chase. Generico ends up tripping over his own feet and Swoggle crawls all over his back and starts clawing at it! You can see the red marks starting to show and Generico rolls away to the outside to escape.
Corey Graves: That little bastard should be disqualified! How does this guy even still have a job.
Tom Phillips: I know right, we clearly know that's Sami Zayn under there.
Corey Graves: I'm talking about Hornswoggle you idiot! And that's clearly not Sami. You couldn't fit his glorious mane under that mask.
Generico thinks he's safe on the outside but he doesn't notice Swoggle come out onto the apron. When Generico turns around, Hornswoggle leaps at him to give him a Spear! Sami holds his ribs as Swoggle lifts up the apron and tries to go under the ring. He grabs Generico's leg and tries to drag him under with him but the living luchador legend kicks his feet away and scurries back into the ring. Hornswoggle stays under the ring and Generico tells the ref to count him out which he does.
Mauro Ranallo: See, this is smart. Many a times we've seen Hornswoggle's opponents go looking for him under that ring only to have something very bad happen to them.
Corey Graves: Generico is a world class athlete. When he's not helping orphans, he's studying his opponents.
Generico is on high alert in that Chris Pratt Jurassic World stance as he looks around the ring, waiting to see if Swoggle pops up. It's like he's in a shark movie and he knows he's being watched. The ref reaches a count of 7 and Swoggle ends up peeking his head out. When Generico's back is turned, he slides into the ring and takes his leg out from behind with a Chop Block! Generico goes down holding the back of his knee and Swoggle stands in front of him an jumps into the air to plant him with a Jumping DDT! He makes the pin!
1 . . .
2 . . .
Generico kicks out! Swoggle drags him over to the corner before he exits out onto the apron and climbs to the top rope. Next thing you know he comes off with a Tadpole Splash but Generico gets the knees up! Swoggle rolls around on the mat while Generico gets to his feet. He's clearly a bit angry as he walks over and grabs the back of his pants, lifting him up. He throws him up and spins him out for the Blue Thunder Bomb! The ref drops down to make the pin but Generico scoots away from him to make sure the pin isn't counted. He's clearly angry that he's allowed Swoggle to get this much offense in and he gets back to his feet.
Generico walks over to Swoggle and grabs him by the ears, picking him up. He places him on the top rope and gets right in his face, speaking some very broken Spanish. He goes up there with him and lifts him up in the air, perhaps looking for the Brainbustah! Swoggle however kicks his feet and turns it into a DDT on the turnbuckles! Generico goes down while Swoggle hangs onto the top rope to avoid an ugly spill. He let's go and walks over to Generico to make the pin!
1 . . .
2 . . .
3 . . .
But NO! Generico gets his foot on the bottom rope!
Mauro Ranallo: Hornswoggle almost had him right there!
Corey Graves: If we won, I'd have quit on the spot. Thankfully the ring awareness of Generico is unmatched.
Swoggle once again drags Generico over to the corner where he looks to climb to the top rope. He makes it to the top but Generico is already getting back to his feet. There's really nowhere or Swoggle to go and Generico falls into the ropes causing them, to shake and Swoggle falls down and racks himself on the top rope! Generico sees an opening as he backs up and then runs forward to deliver the Helluva Kick! Swoggle tumbles all the way to the outside, hitting with a loud thud! Generico exits the ring and brings his carcass back inside before making the cover!

Tony Chimel: Here is your winner, El Generico!
As soon as he gets announced the winner, the lights in the arena start to flicker. Generico quickly rolls out of the ring looking scared. He high tails it to the back while the ref checks on Swoggle as the show moves on.
The titantron switches from the UWF graphic to a live feed from backstage, where CM Punk and Samoa Joe are shown walking down the concrete corridors of the arena. Punk catches the camera man, the boom operator and the lighting guy converging on him. He turns, shielding his eyes from the overbearing glare and looks directly into the lens.
Punk: What is this? I'm not booked for an interview, am I?
He turns to Joe, who shakes his head "no". The Champ shrugs and keeps on walking, speaking to the crew members over his shoulder as he goes.
Punk: Just some stock walking footage then, huh? That stuff you chop up and put in the montages with the highlight reels?
None of the crew members answer. Joe shoots a scowl in their direction.
Joe: You want me to handle this?
Punk: No it's cool man, it's cool. I get it. It's just part of the game. You've got Eddie Kingston cutting this moody back-alley promos, Bray Wyatt putting on some god damn musical theatre, Rollins and Heyman getting up to God knows what... but I don't do corny. EC3 wants me to an interview or a press conference or a contract signing, I'm there. There's just no way in hell I'm gonna turn myself into some caricature to put myself over and get noticed. I don't need to. I'm already the UWF Champion.
They pass by hair and makeup. Brooks nods politely to the folks working there and carries on.
Punk: So this is what you get. The menial shit. At least its honest, though. Its authentic. Ninety percent of wrestling is just travelling - that includes walking from the parkade to the locker room. Its all part of the grind.
Maybe that's the problem with some of these other guys. They're so focused in on the stage and the spotlight, forgetting about the hustle. I'm not talking about like... hustle hustle - working out, hitting the gym, whatever. I mean the effort. I wish there was a less douchey word than "drive" or "desire". Whatever you wanna call it, its the thing that you have to choose to make yourself every single day. The second you start fussing over the pomp and circumstance, your eye's off the prize. You're exposed and weak.
They pass around a stack of crates and turn a corner.
Punk: I've got this match with Seth Rollins tonight. Just like every single other person who picks up a microphone to shit talk me, he missed the point. He doesn't get it. The whole world seems to think that my run as champion and this unprecedented winning streak I'm on are like some kinda fabricated narratives. It's just big picture to them - no forest for the trees. Like how everybody thinks about how high skyscrapers are without acknowledging that the ground floor is the most important one.
Greatness doesn't have inertia. There's no momentum behind my body of work. It's day-to-day. I'm not gonna win tonight because I won my last match. I'm not gonna beat Eddie Kingston because I already beat Tom Lawlor. Every match is new. Every fight is different. I wake up sore and miserable and I still put in all the work it takes to make sure I leave every arena with this title. I have to be the guy that dethroned Bray Wyatt every single day for the rest of my career as champion, if not something even better than that. That's what being a champion is. Recommitting yourself to the impossible task of being the Best in the World. It never... ever gets easier.
I've got this dorky-looking prick Seth Rollins in my ear about how unimpressed he is. Cool. Here's a guy who's whole career has been a pathetic identity crisis and now he's celebrating his worhtless silver medal dressed up like Nickelodeon picked out his suit for him. We're on different levels. He doesn't understand the assignment. In a couple weeks, we'll see if Eddie Kingston has figured it out yet, but I kinda doubt that too. Truth is, there isn't a person in the UWF today who can do what I do, and they're so busy fucking around or sitting in the back twiddling their thumbs, they're never gonna catch up.
You guys wanna go film them wasting their time, be my guest. You want some footage that's gonna make headlines? Okay, how about this? I'm gonna be the first guy to hold a UWF world championship for a full year. And by the look of things, I might just still be undefeated by then, too.
Reaching their locker room, Punk and Joe head inside. The Samoan slams the door shut behind them, leaving the camera crew out in the cold. The feed cuts out and Revolution continues elsewhere.
Just look at me...
The piano riff hits and the crowd immediately begin to bemoan the arrival of their least favourite superstar, Rob Conway. Before 'The Conman' appears, his stablemates Simon Dean and Sylvan walk out onto the stage and face the curtain as if to present Conway. To the sound of tremendous booing 'The Conman' struts out onto the ramp full of arrogance. He's singing along to his theme music and grinning from ear to ear. Sylvan and Dean flank him, pointing to their man as he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring.
Tony Chimmel: Making his way to the ring, accompanied by The Contourage - Simon Dean and Sylvan, from New Albany, Indiana, weighing in at 234 pounds - he is 'The Conman' - Rob Conway!
Conway hops up onto the apron and turns around the face the crowd, he points to each of his abs and seems awful impressed with himself as Dean holds up a Simon System shake next to him in an act of product placement. Conway steps between the ropes and into the ring before he heads towards the hard camera, puts on foot on the middle rope and raises a single finger high in the air as The Contourage take their place at ringisde.
Born for Greatness plays throughout the arena out comes the American Dragon Bryan Danielson who lifts his arms in the air as the fans cheer him. Danielson than shadow box's his way down the ramp as the fans cheer. Danielson finally hits the top rope and gets the roar from the crowd before jumping down and removing his jacket ready for the contest at hand.
VS
DING DING DING
Danielson looks to start off the match like every one thus far, cautiously looking to move in for an attack but Conway is actually doing the same. While he'd normally be full of himself, he appears to take this a bit more seriously, probably due to this being his first match since the attack by Rollins. The two men tie up and Conway easily overpowers Bryan, backing him up to the ropes. The ref starts the count so Rob lifts his arms up only for Bryan come out swinging with a Chop to the chest! Conway looks surprised and grabs Danielson by the head, pulling him in for a Knee to the gut! He then sends him off the ropes but Bryan comes back with a Crossbody. Conway manages to catch him in mid air and shakes his head no before he starts doing curls with Bryan's body until he drops him with a Body Slam. He then hits the ropes but Bryan flips over towards the ropes causing him to leap right over him. Conway hits the ropes once more and ends up running into a Dropkick to the face! Conway rolls out of the ring looking dazed as Maryse and Sylvan tend to him.
Mauro Ranallo: Conway needs to be careful. Not only is that his money maker but after the attack by Seth Rollins we're not even sure he's at 100%.
Corey Graves: Sometimes a wrestler's pride ends up putting them in a bad spot but this is The Con Man we're talking about. Look at him, If anybody knows his body better than anyone else, it's Rob Conway.
Bryan Danielson doesn't want to give him any time to recover. He bounces off the ropes and comes charging through the ropes with a Suicide Dive! Sylvan manages to push Conway out of the way however and takes the brunt of it! Maryse yells at Bryan but he does his best to avoid her and goes right back after Conway. He picks up the former Television Champion and smashes his face into the side of the ring! Conway turns away and tries to retreat but Bryan follows him over, grabbing him by the side and hitting a Saito Suplex on the floor! Conway looks done already and Bryan throws him back into the ring, following him in to make the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Conway kicks out! Bryan gets back to his feet and looks down at his opponent. He grabs his arms and gets ready to kick his head in but Maryse hops onto the apron and yells at him "Not his face!". Bryan gets a smile on his face and lifts up his boot like he's going to stomp him but backs away, teasing her over and over again before he finally starts going full force on Conway! He can't cover up so he ends up just eating all of it.
Tom Phillips: This may have been the worst possible match-up for a return to the ring for Conway.
Corey Graves: Bryan came back to restore honor but where's the honor in this?
Bryan then flips over onto hi back while still holding the arms of Conway to lift him over himself, readjusting his legs to place him in a Triangle Choke! Conway already looks out of it and the ref looks like he might call it already but somehow the choke brings Conway to life. He starts punching at the ribs of Danielson who seems to lessen his hold. Conway finds his base before pulling up Bryan and dropping him with a Powerbomb! Conway ends up falling back into the corner where he sits and rest, trying to regain his breath and shake the cobwebs while Danielson arches his back on the mat.
Conway pulls himself up in the corner while Daniel also gets back up. The American Dragon runs at Conway but Rob scoops him up into a Backbreaker! Danielson tries to roll away but Conway grabs the back of his trunks and pulls him back up. Danielson throws a back elbow that hits him clean on the side of the head to break free. Danielson turns around but eats a Boot to the face! Conway grabs his arm and pulls him in for a Short Arm Clothesline but Danielson ducks the arm and slides behind hi,, grabbing him at the waist and popping his hips back for a German Suplex with a bridge!
1 . . .
2 . ..
Conway kicks out! Bryan right away grabs his arm and tries to put him in the Labell Lock! Conway scrambles close enough to the ropes that his feet are there. Bryan releases his incomplete hold and gets to his feet. Conway stays by the ropes so he can't get attacked but Bryan comes running over anyways. Conway catches him with a Drop Toe Hold that sends him neck first into the middle rope! Conway backs away and looks dazed so the ref checks on him. Suddenly there's a commotion through the crowd as AJ Lee hops over the barricade and she walks over to dig her claws into Bryan's eyes!
Tom Phillips: And here comes that little devil AJ Lee!
Corey Graves: If the Devil looks that good then send me straight to Hell.
Mauro Ranallo: First Randy attacks his wife and now AJ goes after him. What won't these two do?
Corey Graves: It's Danielson's fault for going after them. He asked for this.
He let's go and skips back through the crowd as Bryan walks away blinded. He heads to the opposite ropes and leans over them trying to rub his eyes. Conway sees the opportunity and sneaks up behind him with a Schoolboy! The ref drops down to make the cover and Conway throws his feet onto the middle rope!
1 . . .
2 . . .
3 . . .
Tony Chimel: Here is your winner, Rob Conway!
Conway rolls out of the ring right after the 3 count and Maryse, Simon Dean and Sylvan all help him and head back up the ramp with a big smile on their faces. Bryan is still blinded but he too rolls out of the ring and asks a fan for some water to pour into his eyes to help clear them out. He's visibly frustrated as he kicks the steel steps in anger but looks off into the crowd for AJ as the show moves on.
UWF – the place that has given Eddie Kingston a new lease on life. A place that has taken a chance on a man that has blown every single other chance he has ever been given and here he was, now a week away from the biggest match of his career. He sits there, backstage alone – just taking it all in. he has had ups and downs here in UWF – but this was different. This was it for him – as close as he has ever got – this was his one and only chance, and he had to make it count even if it killed him in the process.
“Moments like this for me are rare. They don’t come around all that often and when they do, heck I don’t know what to do with them. I buggered it up well and good my last two times against Seth Rollins. Can you imagine that for a moment, how someone like me got beaten by a runt like him, how I failed to take that championship from him. Two good cracks at him and he is still running around here thinking he owns the place. I screwed up, I had the chance back then and I blew it, I dropped the ball and any other time I would have been sitting here, drinking and smoking – doing more and more damage to my body, doing everything I could to numb the pain, to drown it out – to make it go away, but now – I am not doing that, I am sitting here getting myself ready, because I am one week away from the biggest match in my career.
First I gotta get through John Cena – anyone who says that is on crack. Not an easy thing to do, but what choice do I have. I had a stumble last week and I am at risk of falling and if I fall – I won’t be getting back up. Cannot, will not – let that happen. John Cena is many things, but he is not the man to defeat me, he is not the man that is gonna stop me, he is not the man that is gonna be the end of me. No chance in hell. Chances like this for someone like me – nah. This is my third chance here, third times a charm so they say – is it fuck. They is no such thing as luck, nothing of the sort. You gotta make your own luck in the world and for a guy like me – getting here has been a fight every single step of the way and now – I just have to push that lil bit more to get to the end. Beating John Cena – will undo the shit I have done, it will send a clear message to one and all – that I am ready to be the man I was meant to be.
I am ready to be the man to carry this company on my back. I am ready to be the man to hold that championship and represent. Unlike CM Punk – that is not a prop to me. It is not something to throw around and take some pictures with. It is everything to me, it is all I have ever wanted and to get it, I will have to murder John Cena tonight – done. I will have to step into the ring with the best in the world and end his reign once and for all – done. When it comes down to it, I want this so much more than he does. With Seth – nah. I have and always have wanted to be the world heavyweight champion and everything else – was just me going through the motions. This is different now, this is what twenty years have been building up too. Tonight, it ain’t CM Punk, but it is close – it is as damn close as it is gonna get and I know – in my heart, that if I can beat John Cena tonight. If I can put him down, then I can do the same to CM Punk and become your next World Heavyweight Champion.”
He would hold his hands together as he would pray a little bit. This was it for him – make or break. No slowing down now, no going back. He had to give everything he had now, he had to give it his all, because now – there was no other choice, he had to win this match, he had to get to CM Punk and he has to become champion.
The screen opens up with the feed live from the Alpha Academy.

One Hundred Twenty Six Days. One Hundred twenty six days and counting. Well on my way to officially be crowned as the Greatest Television Champion in history. But before that, I must truly prove myself. I must prove myself to this Ring, my Ring, that I am worthy of that title. This Ring has already chosen me as its champion. I have proved myself in that regard. But now I must prove myself again to achieve the title, the name, of greatest of all time. That's why I set my challenge up for Slammiversary. I don't want to just beat The Big Show. I don't want to offer this glorious Ring only one sacrifice. No no no. I don't want to just beat The Big Show. I don't want to just beat Hornswoggle. I don't want to just beat John Cena. I want to beat them all. I want to offer them ALL to this mighty Ring. I want to break down each and every one of them and give this Ring their blood, their sweat, their tears. I want them to feed my Ring. To give my Ring sustenance. And in return this Ring will continue to honor me as it's one true champion and bestow on me the title of Greatest Television Champion of all Time.
Each day My Ring and I grow stronger. Each and every day our power and our reach grows. Each week I honor this Ring with a display of violence no one else is capable of. And each week this Ring honors me. That Ring is the Alpha Academy and I am the Alpha. So step into my Ring. Knock on the Doors of My Academy. Come in search of fame and fortune. Knock on my door for this Golden Opportunity. Knock on my door to male yourself a star. But before you do, think carefully about what is on the other side of that door. Think carefully about who will be answering that call. If you think that you can knock on that door and be an Alpha and beat an Alpha then knock... knock... knock.
Chimel: The following contest is set for one-fall!
Chimel:: Introducing first... towering at Seven feet tall. Four-hundred forty-five pounds of pure man. The one, the only, Big Show!"
Two spotlights converge at the backstage entrance as Big Show enters the arena. Show stands tall proudly showing off his mawashi attire. After taking in the crowds energy for a couple of moments he casually makes his way down to the ring with the spotlights moving alongside him keeping him in the center of the light. Any fan that attempts to reach their hands out are met with Show spitting in their direction, or him flipping them the bird. Show slides into the ring and stand tall once more towering over the ring.
FAAAAAAAAME!
David Bowie's iconic banger hits the sound system and the fans hit their feet in a mixed reaction for the former UWF Champion. Some in the stands are happy to see one of the best to ever do it making his grand return to the UWF ring, while others have yet to forget his underhanded ways and refuse to give up the grudge. Ziggy emerges from the back regardless, fired up and ready to go as he does his usual pose for the benefit of the rabid crowd.
Chimel: And his opponent... weighing in at 217 pounds... from Cleveland, Ohio... Dolph Ziggler!
Ziggler trots down the ramp, clapping palms with fans who reach for the high five, then jogs on the spot at the foot of it before heading up the steps, walking along the apron, and straddling the middle rope for a second before entering the squared circle to prepare for the contest.
Tony steps out of the ring and after ensuring the competitors are good to go, the Official calls for the bell!
VS
DING DING
Big Show starts off by adopting the traditional Sumo stance - legs dramatically spreading before he slaps his palms on to his thighs. With his kness bent and shoulders hunched, there's something linebacker-esque about it that the American audience can almost relate to. Almost.
Ziggler speaks for the majority when he points and chuckles with some hard "are you serious, dude?" vibes. Show's expression suggests that yes, indeed he is, and also that he doesn't much appreciate the mockery. The Show-Off can't help but poke some more fun at the Giant, taunting his Sumo stance with one of his own.
Mr. Wight takes exception to this and charges in with a surprising suddenity. He beams Dolph with a running shoulder tackle that sends the blonde bombshell tumbling across the ring. Head-over-heels-over-head-again, Ziggler crashes into the base of the turnbuckle, seeing stars. Big Show stands tall and proud in the center of the ring, the place where his body stopped and transferred all momentum into his opponent. The Giant slaps his hands back on his thighs, ready to go again and expecting some more respect this time.
Phillips: Big Show just hit Dolph like a freight train!
Graves: Ziggler should know better than to underestimate a living legend like the Big Show. A lot of people have been critical of Show's foray into Sumo but it's just one more sport he's excelling in. I've heard he's on his way to reaching the rank of Yokozuna already!
Ranallo: I'm not sure about all that, but it doesn't matter what ring gear you're wearing when you're seven feet tall and five hundred pounds heavy - you hit hard regardless.
Dolph pries himself up with the ropes, the reality of his situation now firmly settled in. He circles around the stationary Giant, looking for an opening. He feints shooting in a few times, hoping to trick Big Show into unbalancing himself. Show isn't falling for it - he keeps his eyes on Dolph and his feet spry, always ready to engage.
Ziggler finally takes a chance, coming in low with the attempted leg pick. Big Show stuff the attempt and blasts him across the back with a sizeable forearm club. Dolph collapses under the brute force of the strike. The fans boo when Wight yanks him to a vertical base by a handful of that blonde hair. This also brings in the Official, who demands that Big Show release him.
The Giant shushes both the fans and the Ref, making everyone quiet before pelting his opponent with a deadly chop on the chest. Like a stuffed basketball, Dolph is driven down to the ground by the open-hand blow. His torso immediately flushes red, an impossibly enormous handprint bruise forming where the hit landed.
Ranallo: Mama Mia! What a slap from the Big Show! Shades of on Edmund Honda with the lethal open-plam technique.
Phillips: Ziggler's going to have to chanel some serious Ken Masters if he wants to get back in this fight.
Graves: Shut up, nerds! Wrestling is happening!
Big Show rolls Dolph over with a kick then places his size eighteen foot right on that welt, making a condescending cover. The Referee drops and counts it...
1...
Dolph shoves the foot of at one, grimacing from the pain and probably some frustration, too. Big Show kicks him again, this time in the ribs as he's trying to get back up. Ziggler rolls away, clutching his midsection while he huffs and puffs to get some air back in his lungs. He winds up tumbling through the bottom ropes before crashing to the floor below.
The Giant petitions the Referee to award him the victory, stating that in Sumo wrestling, knocking somebody out of bounds means winning the contest. The Official reminds him that this ain't Sumo and starts up a ten count instead.
1...
2...
Dolph crawls over towards the barricade and uses that to help himself up.
3...
4...
The fans pat him on the back, offering up some encouragement to the former world champ. Ziggler nods, soaking in that praise and riling himself up while Show glares down at him with dismissive eyes.
5...
6...
Dolph finds a way to inhale a sturdy second wind into that banged up chest of his and then dives back into the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and Big Show comes over to meet him. Ziggler eludes the Giant, darting between his legs before popping up behind him. Show turns around to find a dropkick waiting. Two boots connect with the Sumo, knocking him back a few paces, though he stays standing.
Phillips: This is Dolph's chance! He needs to keep swining the proverbial axe to fell this redwood - he can't let up now.
Graves: Taking Big Show off of his feet isn't an easy ask, and we already know that it only takes one shot from the Giant to put Ziggler down.
Building up some speed with the help of the ropes, Ziggler runs back at Show and clips him with a second drop kick. Once again, he manages to back up his opponent. Big Show waves his arms like windmills to catch his balance, though. Dolph clenches his fists and gets amped, an enthusiastic crowd rallying behind him as he hits the ropes again.
Ziggler rushes back towards Big Show, who looks to stop him dead with a clothesline. Dolph ducks underneath, runs to the far ropes and rebounds off of them to add even more speed. Big Show spins around, arms up in anticipation for a third shot to the chest. The Show Off switches things up and goes low insead, blasting the Giant in the knees with a dropkick this time.
Big Show is knocked over! The behemoth crashes into the canvas and Dolph sprawls to makes a cover as quick as he can...
1...
2...
Big Show shoves him off, getting Dolph airborn in the process!
Ranallo: Big Show kicking out with authority! He just through Ziggler off of himself like dirty laundry!
Phillips: What's it gonna take for Dolph to keep him down?
Graves: Maybe he can't. Big Show is undefeated since returning to the UWF with this new skillset. That includes a win over the reigning Television Champion. We could very well be looking at the next world champ right now, and a win over a Hall of Famer like Dolph Ziggler is only going to hasten his rise to the top of the card.
Ziggler scramles to his feet. He hurries over to Show to get a hold of him and stay on the offensive. Big Show counters that initiative with a barbaric club to Dolph's tummy, once again knocking all the wind out of his body. The tall fella then rises like a whale breaching - his shadow eclipsing Dolph, coming between him and his precious spotlight. He wraps his gargantuan mitt around Dolph's throat, squeezing tight and then elevating his foe to execute a Choke Slam!
Except oh snap! Dolph slips out of his clutches before the move can land! He slides behind Big Show's back and then hops on, sinking in his signature rendition of the oldest finisher in professional wrestling, the Sleeper! Ziggler tightens up his grip, going full boa constrictor on Wight's neck to choke the life outta him. Big Show's face is All-American, going from white to red to blue over the course of twenty seconds or so.
The fans get to their feet, bubbling with excitement at the prospect of the former Champ being the first man to shut down the Big Show while also snapping his cold streak.
Ranallo: It's a scene straight out of the Princess Bride! Can Dolph do it? Can he submit the Big Show?
Phillips: If Show doesn't tap, he might be in for a nap!
Show starts to stumble, his knees getting week, his balance vanishing. Dolph's added weight hanging on his like an over-stuffed backpack isn't helping, either. The Big Show staggers, taking a few errant steps towards the ropes. Instead of bouncing off of them, though, the combined mass of both men is top-heavy enough to pull the top cable down, so that the competitors spill over and down to the floor together!
They land in a disorganized heap on the ground. The Referee leans over to check on them, then starts up a ten count.
1...
2...
Dolph stirs first, groaning in pan as he clutches on to the apron to pull himself away from the Giant and get himself up. Show gets to his knees shortly thereafter.
3...
4...
Ziggler aims to take off his opponent's head with a Superkick before he can get all the way up!
5...
Except Show catches his boot in one hand and flings it out of the way. He then pulls Ziggler in, intent on getting that Choke Slam.
6...
The crowd's attention is diverted away from the action and towards the entrance ramp as an uninvited guest arrives. Their distraction distracts Big Show, who turns to see what the fuss is about.
7...
Ranallo: That's Chad Gable! The Television Champion is headed towards the ring!
Graves: What the hell is he doing out here? Big Show is about to smash Dolph Ziggler. Can't this wait?
Phillips: Big Show picked up a win over the American Alpha with an assist from John Cena the other week - perhaps Gable is here to exact some sort of revenge?
8...
Gable closes in on Big Show, who releases Dolph to face the Olympian. He heads towards him, refusing to let the pipsqueak get the jump.
9...
Dolph two-hand shoves Show away, sending him stumbling towards Gable, who retreats to avoid any actual contact with the Giant. Ziggler then slides under the bottom rope just in time to beat the count.
10...
DING DING
YOUR WINNER BY COUNT-OUT...
DOLPH ZIGGLER!
Big Show turns with a furious glare towards the Ref, having lost track of the count. Ziggler stands to have his hand raised, a knowing smirk spread across that handsome mug. His music hits the PA and the fans cheer, excited to see some classic Dolpheree from Dolph. Gable says something to Big Show - who knows what, but it must have been quite rude because the Sumo starts chasing after Chad, who flees to the back, his dirty work done.
Graves: Chad Gable is a dead man when Big Show gets his hands on him!
Phillips: Clearly Gable and Show have some unfinished business - but let's focus on who's really coming out ahead here. Dolph Ziggler is back with a big win over an undefeated competitor following tht brutal beatdown by Tommaso Ciampa.
Ranallo: And he'll carry that momentum into his match against the Pschyo Killer at Slammiversary in just two weeks time!
Ziggler continues to celebrate the win while Revolution continues elsewhere.
We cut to Ciampas usual spot backstage, the dark storage room area, conspicuous by his absence is Wardlow. Ciampa is holding the Prime Time Medal in his hand.
Ciampa: So here we are, Slammiversary already. I tell you 2021 has went in quickly this year, especially for myself. I came in and for a while it felt like I was floundering for a long time but then I came face to face with an opponent who started me on the path i’m on today.
Ciampa smirks remembering his match with Lawlor
Ciampa: I then faced a man who I used to mark the completion of the man I am now.
An image of Warhorse appears on the screen.
Ciampa: Then I won the Prime Time Medal and all seemed right in the world, that was until you entered my world Dolph. You see what should have been my opportunity is now Eddie Kingstons, the spot he finds himself in should be mine and it’s all your fault. If you hadn’t stepped in my business at Halloween Havoc then we wouldn’t be here but you decided to and now, well you’re going to be reaping what you sew.
Ciampa looks at the Prime Time Medal.
Ciampa: So at Slammiversary, you and I will be going to war for my Prime Time Medal, the pinnacle of all the work i’ve put into this year, what i’ve poured blood and sweat, a lot of it not mine, onto the ring mat to get and ill be damned if someone like you is going to take it from me Dolph.
Ciampa shakes his head wildly.
Ciampa; I put in all this work these past few months and you think you can waltz back in and act like you still own the place, like hell you can. You might be a two time UWF Champion Dolph but that means nothing to me.
Ciampa slams a fist on an equipment box.
Ciampa: Your past doesn’t matter anymore Dolph, all that matters now is what happens at Slammiversary, at Slammiversary I cement my rise this year by defeating you and then continuing onto the next victim in my Prime Time Journey, until I face off against whoever is Intercontinental Champion at the time, then when I have the belt and hold it high you can have the honour in knowing you were just another building block in my path to greatness.
Ciampa kisses the Prime Time Medal.
Ciampa: Speaking of champions however, I want to address the words of our illustrious world champion, CM Punk. Punk thinks everyone is complacent in wanting to face him but I don’t think i’ve been complacent, just busy but if you don’t think Punk that your world title isn’t a constant thought, well you must be deluded.
Ciampa shrugs
Ciampa: Well we all already know you’re deluded but even more so. The World Title is the pinnacle in the UWF and yeah maybe I shouldn’t have let Bray jump the queue but maybe you should put your money where your mouth is and stop ducking him, you beat him before, whats a second time.
Ciampa chuckles.
Ciampa: You’re my only true mark on my record since Summerslam, Punk and that, to me, is a point of contention, so when you ask why people don’t come challenge you, i’ve been biding my time. I’ll let Eddie have his fun and i’ll go to the Rumble and when I win, i’ll be coming for whoever it is out of you two. I beat Eddie last week, he’s old hat now but Punk, you’re the blemish on my record and that’s a blemish I intend to erase.
Ciampa looks completely focused.
Ciampa: Whether I win the rumble or not, i’ll face you again Punk and next time, it won’t be the same result.
With that Ciampa walks off.
We head back down to the ring where Eddie Kingston is already waiting for his opponent.

He pops back up a third time and Cena goes for it once more but Eddie stops it and instead Clotheslines him, turning him inside out! He makes the pin!

Cena kicks out!
Mauro Ranallo: Despite him not having the best record since his return, John Cena always gives his all and it's going to take more to keep him down.
Corey Graves: If it were anyone else, they'd have already put this loser away but what more do you expect from a bum like Kingston.
Tom Phillips: What is your problem with Eddie Kingston?
Corey Graves: I don't have a problem with Eddie Kingston. I have a problem with gutter trash that looks like it just woke up from a bender begin presented as a top guy. As a former World Champion here it makes me sick thinking Eddie Kingston even gets a shot at the UWF Championship.
Eddie sits him up and gets back to his feet, getting ready for the American D but Cena ends up rolling out to the apron. Eddie looks frustrated and walks over to where Cena is, bending over the ropes to pick him up. He positions him to Suplex him back into the ring but Cena goes limp to make himself dead weight. He lands back on the apron and instead reverses once more to lift Eddie up into the air and Suplex him to the floor below! There's a loud slap as both bodies hit the floor.
The ref checks on both men on the outside before sliding back into the ring and making the count. Neither man moves until he reaches the count of 4. They both start to stir and one uses the ring apron to help himself up, the other the announce table. They catch eyes both run and slide back into the ring at the count of 9! They breathe a deep sigh of relief before catches each other glance once more. they both immediately get to their feet and start exchanging blows. Cena is getting the better of the punch and so Eddie switches to chops, the shockwave stunning Cena. John however kicks Eddie in the gut and he turns away bent over. Cena jumps over him and rives him into the mat with the Throwback! He makes the pin!

Kingston kicks out!
Tom Phillips: We spoke earlier of the tenacity of Cena and his never say die attitude but Eddie Kingston is right there with him.
Mauro Ranallo: He's had a hard life and you'll always have trouble putting him away.
Corey Graves: Oh boo hoo he's had it hard. Maybe if he didn't suck so bad he'd have gotten here earlier. I'd have loved to smack him around when I was still wrestling.
Tom Phillips: Come out of retirement then.
Corey Graves: It's uhh... the doctors. Yeah, they haven't cleared me. You know how thorough they are with Sami Zayn and I had it worse. Otherwise I'd be all over him.
Cena backs away from Kingston and waits behind him, hands on his knees as he slowly rises back up. When Eddie is up and turns around, Cena scoops him onto his shoulders but Eddie starts flailing around until he falls behind him. Cena turns around but eats a Spinning Back Fist! Cena gets knocked around and Eddie follows it up with a Chop Block to the back of the knee! Cena falls to his knees with a look of pain etched on his face. Eddie backs away and then runs forward to hit Cena with the American D to the back of the head! Cena goes down and Eddie makes the cover!

Tony Chimel: Here is your winner, Eddie Kingston!
Eve comes into the ring to check on Cena while Eddie simply exits the ring and heads to the back, satisfied with a win but that's not what he wants. He wants CM Punk and he won't be fully satisfied until he gets his hands on the UWF Champion. The show moves on...
The scene opens with Paul Heyman sitting at his signature table along side his client Seth Rollins, and his insurance policy: Roman Reigns. The wrestlers have serious looks on their faces while Heyman has an arrogant smug look on his face.
Paul Heyman: Phil Brooks; better knows as CM Punk, is afraid to look in the mirror and admit his truth. He is the captain of the Titantic and he’s driven the ship straight into an iceberg! But fortunately for the faithful and devoted UWF Universe, my clients are plugging the holes in the ship up. My clients are on the verge of taking the ship back from that juvenile delinquent! My clients will be solely responsible for restoring this federation to the heights that it is familiar with.
Paul puts his hands down and continues to speak.
You mediocre middle-class peasants gets to see my client put on stunning performances week in and week out. The universes infinite and divine powers are infused in the DNA of my client and the limits of his skills and talents are boundless and as infinite as the universe itself. You want to talk about ‘understanding the assignment?’
Seth Rollins has understood the assignment since he became the Intercontinental Champion! This is a man who WILL defeat CM Punk tonight in the main event! This is a man who will defeat ROB CONWAY at Slammiversary! This is the man who defeated Eddie Kingston TWICE and busted his undefeated streak!
The crowd boos as Seth smirks. Paul eventually continues.
The only thing that CM Punk has been right about is the fact that he and my client are on different levels. My client has finally caught up to him and surpassed him, whether he can dare admit it or not. After tonight, the world will be able to call the Intercontinental Champion the best champion on the show—and the STREAK BUSTAHHHHH!!!
The camera pans out to show the trio before the show fades to the next scene.
The scene opens up with Sami Zayn sitting backstage, looking like he just came back from a hard fought match for some reason.
Sami Zayn: You all see that, what El Generico did to Hornswoggle? That's exactly what's going to happen to Bray Wyatt. He thinks he's a big deal like we all fear his name but not us. He's no different than that wimpy clown from that kids movie. All we gotta do is show no fear and he'll shrink until he's the size of Hornswoggle and Generico will stomp him like a bug! And if Alexa thinks she can try to play mind games as well, Becky- I mean La Luchadora will put her in a hold and snap her arm real quick. She's not as since as Generico and I are, she learned it from fellow great luchadora Sexy Star! At Slammiversary, we're not looking to play games in some silly little funhouse. No we're gonna huff and we're gonna puff, and we're gonna kick that damn house down and burn it to the ground!
Sami walks off as the show moves on.
Bright yellow spotlights begin to shine throughout the arena immediately garnering the attention of every fan in the building. The lights begin to twinkle and move throughout the arena before fixating the at top of the ramp and changing to a blue tint. The arena then goes dark as the music continues to blare loudly from the Speakers. Suddenly, fire pyro shoots from the top of the rap ala Kane. The spotlights return, a blue tint once more, shining all throughout the arena before returning to the head of the ramp once more.
Without further ado, The Architect, Seth Rollins steps out from behind the curtains with his arms extending outwards by his sides. The Intercontinental Championship is firmly strapped around his waist and the brand new champion makes his way from the backstage arena with an extremely smug and arrogant aura. He smacks the title one good time to make sure that all eyes are on the belt before continuing down to the ring. The one and only Paul Heyman, bald head, and all, appears from the backstage area as well following Seth, rubbing his hands and wearing a self-approving look on his face as well.
The fans show their disapproval for the duo by launching incredibly loud boo's in unison that would register on the Richter scale. Seth walks down the ramp, slowly and methodically, his theme music exiting the speakers and entering the atmosphere, making it seem as if a real-life God like figure has just entered everyone’s presence. Seth finally makes his way to the ring, steps up the stairs and enters the ring with his manager behind him. Seth goes to one of the sides of the ropes facing the fans and puts a leg on the second rope, and he hoists the Intercontinental Championship up over his head with one hand. Seth screams at the top of lungs while boasting the title to as if to remind everyone exactly who he is. The fans react with an even louder negative reaction.
Tony Chimel: Hailing from Buffalo, Iowa & weighing in at 220 lbs, he is the Intercontinental Champion: SETH ROLLLLLLLLLLINNNNSS!!!!!!!
P U N K
The UWF Champion marches purposefully out on to the ramp, strobe lights flashing in time with the pulsing rhythm of "Digging for Windows". With his name spread big and bold up on the titantron, Punk takes a knee and checks the invisible wrist watch to confirm the time. Love him or hate him, the fans all scream along when he announces that it's Clobberin' Time!
Chimel: Making his way to the ring... being accompanied by Samoa Joe... from Chicago, Illinois... weighing in at 218 pounds... The UWF Champion... CM PUNK!
The brooding Samoan Submission Machine comes trailing behind Punk as he walks down the ramp. Fans reaching over the barricade for high-fives or booing all the way up in the nosebleeds are ignored all the same. The Renaissance is realized. This is a man who has re-established himself as Best in the World and he knows out. He carries himself with bulletproof confidence, daring any and all comers to take their shot. While Samoa Joe takes his place at the corner of the apron, CM Punk climbs into the squared circle, ready to compete.
VS
DING DING DING
The bell rings but neither man makes a move. Punk is leaned back in the corner, not really seeing Seth as much of a threat whereas Seth seems focused but he's just starting, watching every move Punk makes. The same can be said for their seconds as Joe also stands with his arms crossed and a smug look on his face while roman just stands there looking at Joe. Heyman however is looking on intently. Seth comes out of the corner which causes Punk to come out as well. Punk picks his hands up, signaling for a test of strength. Seth lifts his up to interlock fingers but Punk just goes low and kicks him in the gut! He looks to the crowd with a smirk before he sends Seth to the ropes. Rollins comes back however and executes a Slingblade! Punk pops back up to eat another one! He gets up a third time but this time eats a Spinning Back Kick to the gut that knocks the wind out of Punk and he falls to all fours. Seth backs up into the ropes and comes back with a Curb Stomp but Punk rolls out of the ring!
Mauro Ranallo: Rollins almost just ended the match right there!
Corey Graves: Punk's not taking him seriously and honestly, I'd feel the same way about a guy I beat consistently.
Tom Phillips: That's exactly how Rey Mysterio felt about you.
Corey Graves: And look what that got him.
Tom Phillips: A long and illustrious career?
Corey Graves: No! I beat him!
Punk tries to bide his time but Rollins is having none of that. He comes off the ropes and flips over them with a Tope Con Hilo! He wipes out Punk but picks him right back up. He walks right by Joe and stares at him as he throws Punk into the barricade. Joe steps up towards him but Roman is quick to come to Rollin's aid. The two Samoans stare each other down but Seth grabs Punk and throws him back into the ring. He hops onto the apron and waits as Punk starts to get to his feet. When he does, Seth jumps onto the ropes and takes out Punk with a Springboard Knee to the side of the head! Punk goes down and Seth makes the cover!
1 . . .
2 . . .
Punk kicks out! Rollins grabs a hold of Punk and brings him over to the corner. He sits him up on the top rope, throwing his legs over the ropes before climbing up with him. The two stand up and it looks like Seth may be going for a Superplex but Punk starts to punch him in the ribs to weaken him. He gives him a few Headbutts and Seth goes flying back down into the ring. Punk looks around and situates himself before he points to the heavens. He jumps off the top rope with the Elbow Drop, driving it right into the heart of Rollins! He makes the cover!
1 . . .
2 . . .
Rollins kicks out! Punk grabs a fistful of hair and brings Seth back up to a vertical base. The ref gets on him for this but he doesn't care, instead whipping Seth to the corner. Punk follows him over, connecting with a Running Knee in the corner before turning around and driving him into the mat with the Bulldog! Punk stands back up and motion that it's nap time, looking to make quick work of Rollins. Seth starts to rise and when he turns to face Punk he's scooped up onto his shoulders. Seth starts wiggling around and the momentum causes Punk to stagger towards the ropes where Seth grabs hold. Punk tries to pry him free but Seth keeps a firm grip. Punk instead throws him over the ropes and he goes tumbling to the floor! Rollins tries to get up right away but Punk comes barreling out of the ring with a Suicide Dive!
Mauro Ranallo: Looks like Punk has shifted into second gear as he looks to take this match to the finish line!
Corey Graves: He's gonna need to go a lot faster if he hopes to put an end to Seth right now who's been on a bit of a hot streak.
Mauro Ranallo: Much like Punk's streak was overshadowed by Kingston's, Rollins has been on a roll and has been seemingly overshadowed by Punk's streak. Could he be the ender of both streak's while cementing his own 3 month streak?
Rollins is knocked into the barricade from the force of the dive but Punk isn't done there. He picks him up only to throw him shoulder first into the steel steps! A loud thud is heard all throughout the arena and it brings a smile to Punk's face. He sits Rollins up against the steel steps and steps back a few paces. Rollins looks dazed and so Punk runs forward to smash his knee into his face but Seth moves out of the way just in time! Punk's knee collides with the cold hard steel and he limps away while Seth gets back to his feet. Punk turns around and eats another Sling Blade, this time on the floor! Seth picks up Punk and throws him back into the ring. He follows him in to make the pin!
1 . . .
2 . . .
Punk kicks out! Seth starts to pull Punk back up to his feet but the UWF Champion starts fighting back with some shots to the midsection. Rollins cuts off any momentum with a knee to the gut followed by a DDT! Seth then turns him over and positions him closer to the corner before turning around and climbing up to the top rope. He gets himself situated on the top before he jumps back, flipping in mid air for the Phoenix Splash! Only thing is Punk gets his knee's up and Rollins lands hard across on them! Punk immediately scurries over and hooks both legs for a deep cover!
1 . . .
2 . . .
Seth kicks out at 2!
Tom Phillips: And ugly landing from Seth Rollins!
Mauro Ranallo: That could easily break a rib or two but it just goes to show you the lengths he'll go to put away the UWF Champion.
Seth sits up and tries to breathe but Punk wraps his legs around him while his arms go around his neck and he places him in the Coquina Clutch! Joe smirks on the outside as Punk get's ready to make the Intercontinental Champion pass out! Rollins is clawing at Punk's arm to try and lessen the grip but that's not working. Instead he reaches up and starts digging at his eyes forcing Punk to let go. The ref admonishes him for this but Rollins ignores him, instead trying to catch his breath. Punk rubs his eyes and it doesn't take long for him to regain his vision as he let go of the hold almost immediately. He sees Rollins still recovering so he walks over but Seth delivers a Superkick! Or at least he would have but Punk catches his leg and pulls him in for an Exploder Suplex! Rollins is tossed across the ring but the impact rolls him back up to his knees. Punk walks over and hooks both arms before flipping him up and over for the Welcome to Chicago Backbreaker! He makes the pin!
1 . . .
2 . . .
Rollins kicks out! Punk is done playing games and he's looking to end things right now as he grabs Rollins' hair and lifts him up and onto his shoulders. Seth doesn't move and this looks like it could be the end but when Punk throws him up and lifts up his knee, Seth catches it and sweeps out his other leg to make him fall back. Seth grabs the other leg and drops back causing Punk to be slingshot right into the turnbuckles! Punk turns way and falls to his knees and so Seth shoves his head between his legs and lifts him up to deliver the Buckle Bomb in the corner! Punk falls to his knees form the impact and Seth takes on step back before delivering the Avada Kadavra! He pulls Punk away from the ropes before making the pin!
1 . . .
2 . . .
Punk gets the shoulder up at 2!
Tom Phillips: Both these men are proving here tonight why they're champions.
Mauro Ranallo: Despite Punk slightly coming out on top with more accolades, they've had very similar careers and I wouldn't be surprised to see Rollins getting the better of him at any point.
Rollins backs up and stalks Punk, yelling for him to get up. The UWF Champion stirs and Rollins is coming out of his boots in anticipation to stomp his head in but as he moves in, Joe grabs his foot and stops him. Seth looks back at him and Reigns is quick to come over and get in his face. A shove from Joe causes an all out brawl between the Samoans on the outside. The referee is trying to get control of it but Heyman seizes the opportunity and grabs the IC title and hands it off to Rollins. Seth turns around however and eats a Roundhouse Kick to the head! Seth goes down and Punk picks up the title. Heyman begs for Punk not to do it but he readies himself as Seth slowly rises.
Corey Graves: Turnabout is fair play and it looks like Punk is going to use the title to change the outcome of a second main event match in a row.
Tom Phillips: This is how he cost Kingston his match last week and now it's Rollins turn to feel the same fate.
Mauro Ranallo: Speak of the devil...
Unbeknownst to Punk, Eddie Kingston has slid under the ropes and rips the title out of Punk's hands from behind! Punk barely has any time to react before he's blasted with the IC title! Seth crawls over towards Punk to make the pin but Eddie decides to give him a few boots to the face just because. No love lost there. He then drags Seth over Punk and leaves while Heyman tries to tell the ref to pay attention to what's going on in the ring. The ref looks back and sees the pin sp he rushes back in and makes the count.
1 . . .
2 . . .
3 . . .
Tony Chimel: Here is your winner, the Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins!
Tom Phillips: And the streak is over!
Mauro Ranallo: Add the streak slayer to the list of nicknames for Seth as he further cements his own streak.
Corey Graves: I just wish it didn't come at the hands of that no good filth Eddie Kingston!
Joe pushes off Roman and looks to see Eddie Kingston. After what happened last week, he's not about to let that shit fly. He chases after him but security has already rushed down and they separate the two. Heyman and Roman help Seth to the back while Punk comes to in the ring. He quickly climbs up the top rope and jumps off onto Kingston, taking out most of the security around him! Kingston and Punk trade punches but more security comes out from the back to keep the two separated. The two jack jaws as they're being pulled apart as the show comes off the air.
