UWF Bio:
Kyle O'Reilly first came to the UWF in late 2013 as part of the tag team reDRagon, but nobody even remembers that and they never won anything.
Fast forward to 2018, where Larry Sweeney finds himself in need of some back-up as he launches into his 34 week reign as UWF Champion. Enter Kyle V2 - an unhinged diabetic Canuck whose social issues stemming from a severe case of arrested development were matched only by his ruthless efficiency and lethality in the squared circle. As Sweet n' Sour Inc., the boys would secure Larry a record-breaking run on top while also saddling up with the nWo to dominate the entire organization for a little while there.
Along the way, Kyle met the love of his life in El Desperado. They had the UWF's first (and so far only) Gay Wedding. Even though Vinny Marseglia ambushed the ceremony, these lovebirds remain happily betrothed to this day.
Kyle returned from almost being murdered to form the Strong Dragons with Mark Henry. They won the UWF World Tag Team Championships off the Dynamic Duo at the No Mercy 2020 but dropped them at Wrestlemania in a match with all the other tag teams, except Mark got injured before that so Kyle teamed up with his best friend Larry Sweeney that night instead. The reformed Sweet n' Sour Inc. would win the tandem straps again later in the year, add Asuka (their landlord's granddaughter) to their ranks, and then lose long-time rivals Zayn and Lynch before leaving the company in early 2021.
O'Reilly came home for another run at the Revolution following Summerslam 2022 with every intention of beating up everybody because he's actually really tough and nobody can even stop him. He then defeated Hall of Famer Cody Rhodes in his first ever one-on-one pay-per-view bout at Bad Blood.
Shortly thereafter, Kyle's Granna married her boyfriend Manuel, who, as it so happened, was pro-wrestler Bayley's father. His step-sister made her Revolution debut in saving her new big brother from a two-on-one beatdown courtesy of The Guild. Naturally, a feud ensued between the O'Reilly's and Batista and his goons. In order to make himself eligible to challenge for Big Dave's Hollywood Championship, Kyle released a documentary called PUMPED: The True Story of the Little Dragon that Could, which premiered at Rebellion. Dragon and Animal went head-to-head at Slammiversary, where Kyle lost by DQ after refusing to release the Vanilla Bar.
Batista escalated the feud by attacking the O'Reilly family in their home, setting up a rematch at Royal Rumble in an Anarchy Rulez match, where the rules were that there were no rules. Although Kyle failed to win the titular battle royale later on that evening, he did manage to finally defeat the movie star, and in doing so, became both the Prime Time Medalist and Hollywood Champion.
Even after racking up the requisite number defenses of the Prime Time Medal, Kyle insisted he would never cash it in for a title shot. He was then goaded into a PTM match at Wrestlemania XII - and Bayley into a date - by LA Knight at Spring Break. In the co-main event of the biggest show of the year, O'Reilly was defeated by the Thursday Night Thriller, though he was quick to rebound with a victory against Will Ospreay at Backlash the following month.
Heading into the summer of 2023, the Canadian Psycho was one of eight competitors entered into the historic King of the Ring tournament. Wins over his old enemy Sami Zayn and IC Champ MJF landed him in the finals at Final Battle. There, Kyle scored an upset victory over his nWo 4 lyfe brother Edge to earn the honoured crown, and with it, a UWF title shot at Summerslam. First, though, there was a score to be settled at Heatwave. The steps-siblings aligned with Edge and Christian to face off against Will Ospreay, Sami Zayn and his lackeys in WarGames. Leading up to the match, Sami annihilated Kyle's Hollywood Championship belt. Even so, the heroes were able to prevail inside the supersized cage. Despite riding the momentum of KOTR, WarGames and a victory over the legendary Bray Wyatt, O'Reilly came up short at the Biggest Party of the Summer in a clash that saw Drew McIntyre successfully defend his world championship.
While scoring a win over his archnemises Vinny Marseglia on Revolution in the early Autumn, Kyle's pay-per-view cold streak continued with a loss to Tyler Breeze at Bad Blood, in no small part thanks to a malfunctioning gameplan with Bayley as his back-up. Tensions between the step-siblings were exacerbated all the more when Kyle befriended a terrible influence in The "Bad Boy" Joey Janela, although the trio was able to rack up a W against Tyler and his Breezetourage at Slammiversary.
Suffering consecutive losses at Royal Rumble - first, in a Submission Match to Breeze, then in the main event battle royale by way of a miscalculated assist from Bayley - Kyle cut ties with his step-sister and adopted a new persona as "The Real" Kyle O'Reilly, one he sought to validate in finally facing off with his worst enemy Vincent in a Barbed Wire Massacre Match at Wrestlemania XIII. After winning a grueling, bloody battle, Kyle was betrayed and attacked by Janela. He reconciled with Bayley when she saved him from a post-match beatdown. The reunions continued from there with Bayley bringing her step-brother and maybe-boyfriend Rick Rude back together for another crack at the nWo. This included a friendly contest between stablemates for The Ravishing One's Intercontinental Championship at Backlash. The title tilt saw rare fair play from both parties, though Rick being distracted by Bayley contributed to O'Reilly ultimately picking up his first legitimate single's strap in the UWF.
A bid to win consecutive KOTR's ended in the semi-finals in a match against the eventual winner, Shinsuke Nakamura. Rematching his Ravishing stabtlemate at Final Battle inside the Roman Colosseum, Kyle retained the IC strap in the first ever 60-Minute Iron Man Match in the history of Revolution, racking up a score of seven-to-five. He followed that up with a victory over Seth Rollins in a title defense at Summerslam.
