"Welcome To LA" blares over the PA System and all the excitement in the arena turns to dread. Everyone knows exactly who is about to grace them with their presence. It is the one and only self proclaimed "Million Dollar Megastar" LA Knight. Sure enough, the man that represents LA, California bursts through the curtain and out oto the stage. The jeers he receives do not bother him. Knight simply stands tall, the UWF Championship shining on his shoulder. With him as always, is his right hand man "The Masterpiece" Christopher Adonis. The duo march to the ring, knowing what they plan to accomplish this evening.
Tony Chimel: Making his way to the ring, being accompanied by Christopher Adonis, from Los Angeles, California via Baltimore, Maryland. Weighing in at Two Hundred and Thirty pounds, he is the Million Dollar Megastar and your UWF Champion, LA Knight!
Knight and Adonis reach the end of the ramp before Knight climbs the steps and enters through the ropes. Adonis watches from the outside as Knight goes to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs the ropes. Normally, this is where he throws up his patented "LA" sign, but tonight, he instead holds up his UWF Championship high in the air.
Knight leaps down and waits for this contest to start.
Bio: There's not a challenge that LA Knight has met, that he doesn't think he can't defeat. He isn't short on confidence; some would say he's borderline arrogant. But he's only this way because he truly believes in the bottom of his heart that when that bell rings, there is nobody better than him. Having been in this business for decades now, Knight considers himself a student of the game, The perfect combination of The Rock, Steve Austin and Dusty Rhodes on the microphone while a hybrid of Harley Race and Ric Flair in the ring.
This man is back in the UWF for one reason and one reason only; to reach the top. And he doesn't just mean Championships. LA Knight truly believes he is the next megastar of professional wrestling. So when you say UWF, he wants the name LA Knight to become synonymous. He doesn't care who he has to step on to get there. In his mind, he isn't a bad guy; he isn't a good guy. He's THE guy! He's the guy that every man wants to be and every woman wants to be with. And he has no problem telling you that to your face. If you doubt him, he will quickly deliver some Blunt Force Trauma and serenade you with his trademark "Dummy" catchphrase. And that's not an insult; that's just a fact of life.
LA Knight's most recent UWF tenure has had its share of ups and downs. Having burst on the scene in late 2022, LA Knight became an almost overnight sensation. By the time 2023 rolled around, LA Knight found himself as a favorite to win that year's Royal Rumble Match. He found himself coming up just short however, starting at the Number 3 position and making it all the way to the end before Trevor Lee cemented himself in the record books. While he may have lost that match, Knight found himself a new dance partner(or partners) in Kyle O'Reilly and Bayley. This feud, which culminated in winning a Slammy for feud of the year, found Knight defeating O'Reilly to win the Prime Time Medal at WrestleMania 12.
This would be the peak of LA Knight's success for some time. He would struggle against Orange Cassidy; losing the Prime Time Medal and falling into a funk. That funk would come to an end when Knight would introduce the UWF world to "The Masterpiece" Christopher Adonis. Together, the duo has run roughshod over UWF. And their dominance would lead us into the 2024 Royal Rumble Match. And it was on that night, January 29th, 2024 that LA Knight avenged his loss from the year prior and win the Royal Rumble, earning himself a date with the most dominant Champion in recent, Drew McIntyre.
Come WrestleMania 13, despite the fact that the reigning Champion was seemingly unbeatable, LA Knight pulled off the shock of the century and won the UWF Championship, ending one of the longest reigns a Champion has ever had at 259 days. WIth this win, Knight achieved his initial goal of reaching the top of the mountain, but there is still so much more for the Million Dollar Megastar to accomplish.
Accomplishments:
1x UWF Champion
2024 Royal Rumble Winner
1x Prime Time Medalist
