Apologies for being late to the party with a comment but holy hells bells what a Rumble event! So easy to see why people get excited for this one and the standard of promo and TT work goes up as a result, so hats off to all roster members for that, but special thanks go out of course to the match writers for their efforts in putting this behemoth together.
A slight shame that we didn’t get more from the UWF Title opener considering how good Shark Boy and Ciampa were last year, but obviously there’s been a bit of a slowdown recently which of course can’t be helped. Sam proving he’s still very much the man to beat though with a superb TT effort to keep his reign in tact.
CJSM up next but that aside I think the win definitely benefits Buzzard and can hopefully be a catalyst to propel the character to new heights.
Massive congratulations to Ada for the IC Title win, wholeheartedly deserved after he’s been grinding with Kingston for so long. I’m thrilled to bits to have accomplished a 154 day title reign with Danhausen and have no shame at all in it coming to an end.
Congrats to Evo J on the TV title win, hopefully a promising reign ahead there. Phenemenal run from Leedles with Lee who as we know will be moving on to bigger things.
Enjoyable match between Spike and Knight. Certainly a unique pair facing off but served as a nice little appetiser ahead of their respective Rumble performances.
Anarchy Rulz holy hell! A lot on offer here and a great way to close the non-Rumble portion of the show. Enjoyed the aspects of offence on offer from both competitors and got a nice little kick out of Despy making an appearance to aid KOR on his road to victory.
Fauche’s second written Rumble on the trot and another classic. Don’t think it would be fair to try and compare with last years because they both felt unique and special in their own right and that’s the way it should be. Nice array of surprise entrants on show and on the whole some really great performances for all those who TT’d and helped contribute to such a fun thread. Think there were at least half a dozen potential worthy winners to choose from, but Lee was one of them and deservedly earns the big one for both thread efforts and generally stellar work over the past months in the lead up to the show.
Although not everyone can win the match, hopefully all members who participated can come away feeling pleased with how their characters were handled and what the potential options are for them ahead of the journey now to Wrestlemania. Lots of potentially exciting feuds and matches in the pipeline and hopefully the raised standard stays that way as we get the ball rolling on the next stage of the journey. Kudos to all and thanks again to Danny and the writers for some incredible work.
