Character: Charlie Dempsey (w/ William Regal)
Alignment: Heels
Gimmick: No-nonsense heels/villains.
Promo:
The UWF feed cuts to a promo that plays live on the 'tron for the in-house audience. We are taken to a unassuming backstage space where "The Villain" is standing by.
William Regal: If you'd permit me a moment of your time, I'd like to talk a bit about legacy. Whilst there have certainly been many to walk the hallowed halls of this company that could claim they have one, there are few who can claim theirs spans generations. As the expression goes in a popular theme, "Wrestling has more than one Royal Family." How fitting that its latest should be of true, English stock.
"The Villain" leans back, a grin on his face — a truly sinister prospect for any who know him.
Allow me to introduce the latest claimant to the "multi-generational" crown. He is my son, but more than that, he is a masterful technician, a brilliant tactician, and a surefire threat to your most precious heroes of the UWF: Charlie Dempsey. You see — Charlie possesses all of the wit of his father, and all of the talent. But what he brings to the fore in this modern era is also a youthful vigor and a merciless streak the likes of which no British-born talent has in half a decade. Not since I retired from active competition have you been exposed to the truly wretched nature of Strong Style. You may think you've seen power in a small package in Tyler Bate, or expert joint manipulation in Pete Dunne. You may think that the smashmouth brutality of Drew McIntyre is one-of-a-kind. But allow me to assure you: you've not seen anything. Not yet. Not until you've seen Charlie Dempsey.
Smirking, Regal looks dead into the camera.
But you will. Soon enough. And then? You won't just have to take my word for it. So make ready, for true Villainy has returned. And it shall offer No Quarter.
With that, Regal chuckles menacingly, and the feed moves along.
