Pyro goes off all throughout the arena and the camera zooms around, showing numerous fans all showing their support for the return of NXT, We then go ringside where Corey Graves and Tom Phillips are standing by.
Tom Phillips: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to NXT! I'm Tom Phillips and with me is my broadcast partner, former International Champion, Corey Graves.
Corey Graves: Yes that's right we're still here even though it's a somber day as Spike Dudley is now the International Champion.
Tom Phillips: Oh will you stop! Spike Dudley has achieved his dream and defeated Kevin Steen fair and square to become the new champion. As a matter of fact, we have a celebration planned right now!
Corey Graves: Oh please, let's hope this is quick.
The energy is raucous and infectious, all the fans off their chairs as the announcers have done their bit, introducing the show but the noise levels go up a level when a theme song plays out over the PA System. One that hasn't been heard in a while but the fans know instantly who it belongs too.
'SHE'S GOT THE LEGS,
SHE KNOWS HOW TO USE THEM'
The crowd all get up, watching the stage as Stacy Keibler doesn't disappoint, walking through the curtain in a smart dress and her old glasses on. She stops at the top of the ramp, looking around at the crowd before she begins her walk down it.
She obliges to some of the fans bending over the sides, asking for high fives as she even stops at a young boy, pointing to him and giving him the thumbs up. She reaches the end of the ramp, walking over to the stairs and entering the ring like only she can. The crowd behind her go wild as she just smiles and teases them a little before going through. She walks around the ring, her arms raised high as the crowd start a Stacy chant. She points out, turning around the ring as she walks towards the stagehand, receiving a mic. She walks back to the center of the ring, looking out before she begins to speak.
Stacy: Tonight Ladies and Gentleman, I have a very very special job. I have been employed to do plenty of important jobs in the past but tonight, tonight takes the cake, the icing and the cherry on top because tonight, I get to introduce my man Spike Dudley. Now before we get to him walking down that ramp and making me the proud women I am, I would just like to get a little something off my chest. I'm sure I don't speak alone here and I hope you guys don't lie to me here but who would have saw tonight coming? You all know why I'm here and we all know why I get to introduce my man but in all honesty, I lost faith in my man along the way and didn't believe in him. I know that at some stage, you all lost faith in him and didn't see it having a happy ending. It might not have been the same time as me so let me get it off my chest when I didn't believe. It was late last year in September, actually you know what, it might be easier if you watch it instead of me telling you. Please roll the footage.
The people in the back obilige as a video rolls over the titantron.
Stacy enters the ring to celebrate with her boys while Wyatt walks over to check on his guys. He can be seen talking off to the side with Harper and Rowan who look like they're about to re-enter the ring and attack the Dudleyz. The lights go out and it's pitch black in the arena. When the lights come back on, Braun Strowman is in the ring, taking out both Bubba and Devon with a double clothesline. Harper and Rowan enter the ring and start to beat down the Dudleyz. Bray Wyatt enters the ring and chants for Spike begin to ring throughout the arena. Wyatt just laughs and grabs Stacy, stopping her from leaving. He instructs Strowman to grab her and he obliges. She's trying to fight her way out of his massive grip but suddenly the lights go out again. When they come back on, Stacy and the Wyatts are nowhere to be seen. Only Devon and Bubba are in the ring, laid out as the camera fades out.
The video finishes up as Stacy looks near to tears as the crowd boo The Wyatts.
Stacy: That is the night my whole world get turned upside down, imagine being in The Wyatt's hands. Just imagine what things they were doing to me. I remember thinking that I know how great my man is but these are the friggen Wyatt's. These guys aren't from this world and I was worried, that is when my faith dwindled and nearly died down, that is the moment in time I doubted Spike. I questioned my own faith everyday and every single second, I thought I would lose my soul and get turned into a puppet. My vessel would be overtaken by Sister Abigail. Every single second, I lay awake, praying that it wasn't my last breath. They say you need to reach the bottom to truly understand the top and that is when I was at rock bottom but my man showed me I had nothing to worry about all along. He showed me I should never have doubted him and in the next video, that is when I learnt that I will never ever doubt him again. Please, roll the next tape.
Braun Strowman heads down to the ring, looking maybe to deal out some punishment but Wyatt actually stops him at the bottom of the ramp, saying they have bigger plans ahead. Spike simply runs to the ropes and comes back with a suicide dive, taking out of Wyatt from behind. Devon and bubba exit the ring and take the fight to Strowman as Spike just rains down punches on top of Bray. Bubba and Devon manage to throw Strowman over the barricade and Spike yells out the signature catchphrase "Devon...Get the tables!
At the same time, Stacy suddenly snaps out of her trance and sees what's going on before her. She runs over and hugs Spike as the crowd cheers for the reunion. In the middle of their celebration however the lights in the arena go out. When they come back on, all members of the Wyatt Family are gone. All that's left is the broken table as the Dudleys look around, ready for another fight. Wyatt's laughter can be heard throughout the arena as the live feed goes elsewhere.[/quote]
Stacy: That is the night that I realized just what my man could do and the sky was the limit. That's the night that everything turned in our favor and that was the night that our journey began. Our journey towards the UWF International Championship and ever since that night, I knew my man was destined to win that title and make me The First Lady of NXT. That's right Ladies and Gentleman, I think I have made you wait long enough, please let me introduce my man, the love of my life and the man that has given me the privilege of being First Lady, please welcome The NEW INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION, SPIKE DUDLEY.
Stacy points towards the stage, with fireworks streaking down from the roof as another familiar tune rings out around the arena.
YER, WE'RE COMING DOWN
GET UP, GET UP, GET UP
DROP THE BOMBSHELL.
If you thought the reaction for Stacy was through the roof, you would be surprised the crowd could get to another level as the cheers and roars are deafening for the Runt of the Dudley family. He doesn't leave them waiting long as he makes his way onto the stage, the International Championship in his grasp as pauses in the middle. He looks out into the fans going wild as he places his hand on his heart, mouthing "Thank you". He points to the title and then mouths the words "This is for you", as he lifts it high in the air with a massive smile.
He continues his walk down the ramp, a little gingerly from his battle with Kevin Steen as he also gives all the fans high fives who are asking for it. He slides the title underneath the ropes before he takes a lap around the ring, once again giving all the fans high fives before he slides into the ring to join Stacy. He leaves the title on the ground as him and Stacy embrace in the ring, Spike giving her a massive hug as the crowd are still going wild. Spike picks the title up, running over to the turnbuckle and once again lifting the title up high.
He follows this step for all four corners as Stacy is left clapping her man. It looks like Spike nearly has a tear in his eye as Stacy hands him the mic, Spike swaps the mic for the title as he looks into the crowd. He lifts the mic to his mouth but the fans start a "You deserve it" chant. This chokes Spike up as he begins to bow to the fans. He lifts his finger up, telling the crowd to quiet down as he says something into the mic.
Spike: YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I DESERVE IT!!!
Spike yells this statement as the crowd go berserk once more. Spike begins to laugh as he mouths something to Stacy. The crowd take a while to quiet down but once they do, Spike is ready to go again.
Spike: You better get ready for this as I'm about to drop a bombshell but this week at the Royal Rumble, Uncle Spike Dudley defeated Kevin Steen to become your NEW INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION BABY.
Spike baits the crowd once again, and once again he hooks them as the crowd cheer once again. Spike looks at the title as he continues.
Spike: Thank you, thank you, now I better stop doing that hey, otherwise we will be here all night and NXT will just be my celebration. Now where oh where do I even begin? I think I better get this out of the way before I do, I know these things never actually turn out well for the celebrators but EC3 has given me his word that if anyone tries to interfere or interrupt me or Stacy, there will be serious hell to pay so if the very few Uncle Spike haters in attendance were hoping for a little bit of action from someone beating me up, you will have to wait another day.
First off, I just want to say, this title was never ever just about me. Ever since day one on my UWF Run, all I ever wanted was a chance. I came in to help my brothers out and I wanted a chance to do my own thing but it was never about me. Last week, Kevin Steen called me selfish because I believed in myself but you people, you people haven't brought into that have you? You people have never found me selfish and I hope you never do because I ain't like that. I believe in myself and I will have no hesitation in telling you that if you question my ability. Ever since I came back, that is all everyone has ever done. Every single wrestler I've stepped into the ring with has put me down and just flicked away the mindset that I could be a threat. No one has even bothered taking me seriously but at the end of the day..... we all showed them. This title, this title means I can now be seen as a threat, people now know I am the real deal but it didn't take a title for you guys to see it. You have been with me since day one, cheering me and chanting my name against guys that were bigger then me, against guys that were better wrestlers, against guys that could talk their way out of a paper bag, you cheered for me since day one and this title is my way of saying thank you.
Spike lowers the mic, mouthing thank you to everyone in the arena as they replicate this, screaming 'Thank you Spike'. Stacy goes and rests her hand on his shoulder as he continues.
Spike: Now I might not be very popular for what I have to say next, but I believe it has to be said, I would like to thank Kevin Steen and congratulate him on his title run. As much as you guys dislike him and everything he stood for, he stood for something, he had a vision for NXT and he never waived from that. He stood up for what he believed in every step of the way and you can't exactly say he wasn't a fighting champion. He broke the record and he was an excellent champion, so much so he made Dolph Ziggler raise his game, he made CM Punk step up his level, he made Roman Reigns put on a classic, I say the mark of a good champion is the amount of people that want to knock you off and Kevin was so good that after a while, people didn't just want to win the title, people wanted that badge of honor in being able to say they were the ones to knock Kevin Steen off his porch....... well sorry fellas, that honor belongs to me and it always will.
Now, I won't keep you much longer, I know you want to see some action, I'll just remind you my brothers are in action later tonight so make sure you get behind them but there is a question that needs to be answered. What now Spike? What happens now that you are the International Champion? The Road To Wrestlemania began with you winning that title but what happens on the Road now for Uncle Spike Dudley. Does Kevin Steen get his rematch? Does Dolph Ziggler get a prize for being the Runner Up and throwing a third of the Participants in the Rumble out, does Robert Roode step up and face me, well everybody, take my word when I say this, it doesn't matter who or where, if someone wants to try and take this title from me, I'm ready for the fight. You better bring everything in your arsenal but I don't plan on giving this title up just yet. I've showed in the past that I won't go down without a fight and you better believe that having this Title, won't change me one bit. I'm not like Dolph Ziggler who turned his back on you guys, I'm not like CM Punk who had to change his Straight Edge ways, I'm not like Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns that had to change brands, I made it to this stage without any gimmick changes or changes in general, I stuck to my guns and in the end, it was all I needed so strap yourselves in guys, this road is going to be a bumpy one but it's going to be one HELL OF A RIDE.
Spike once again yells this last statement as he raise his arms in the air, crowd serenading him with cheers and chants as Stacy walks over, hugging him and placing the title back on his shoulder. They embrace once again as suddenly there is an explosion. It stuns everyone in attendance but not Stacy and Spike as they must have known it was coming as from the ceiling, confetti and balloons rain down upon the ring. The cameras stay fixed on Stacy and Spike still hugging in the ring but after a while, the two figures disappear in the eye of the confetti storm. The Dudleyz music begins playing again as the cameras cut from the arena with the image of balloons and confetti fading out.
Fading in from the black, we're taken backstage where we see both members of TM-61; Shane Thorne and Nick Miller, backstage, with no less of a posture that suggests they have something on their minds. Without a wait, The Lads, speak their piece, with Nick Miller taking point at the metaphorical door for the verbal breach--
Nick Miller: "Look into our eyes. We've said it many times before; it's starting to get a bit repetitive -- I've heard the concerns on Shane's Twitter. Personally, I don't use it to communicate. But, with these, with these pairs of eyes, these tell how we communicate. This is how you know we're serious. This is how you know, that when we say we want championship gold -- I mean, we want it. We'll beat Wyatts, we'll beat Bucks, we'll beat Decay, we'll beat Dudleys. We will beat any team, any team at all, that EC3 can find around the globe -- and we will conquer them. We will take their pride. We will take it, because it is within the rules."
Shane Thorne taps the shoulder of Nick, taking up his own point--
Shane Thorne: "Wyatts -- everyone knows your "scary". Everyone knows you like to hurt. But, TM-61 likes to win. Now -- This is a touch cliche. It's a little too on-the-nose. It's just tad overly-marketed. But, believe me; we're going to win -- got it? I'm not in the mood for specifics, I'm not in the mood for explaining the whole, 'just 'cause', dilemma you're facing. No -- I'm in the mind for whipping ass, and taking names. This whole, "talk, talk, talk", thing gets old after a while. Me, and Nick, are pure wrestlers, we like to wrestle -- okay? We like to actually do our jobs, instead of mindlessly whacking off to violence, like you guys like to do. It's a shame we live in a sport, where we've got to teach the champs to wrestle -- aspiring wrestlers, you're in for a treat; you're in for a live session of teaching professional wrestlers, how to wrestle. Class dismissed."
The scene fades to black.
Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Miami, Florida and weighing 260 pounds... the ROCK!
IF YA SMELL! WHAT THE ROCK! IS COOKIN'!
The fans erupt in a huge way as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's voice explodes out of the arena soundsystem, and somehow they get even more hyped as the Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment trots out from the backstage, through the curtain and on to the state. The Rock walks from one end of the stage to the other, and then back to the top of the ramp, where he pulls off his sunglasses and flashes that eyebrow for the fans before... wait!
Tom Phillips: Oh my god, it's Goldberg! He's not waiting to start this thing!
Indeed, Tom Phillips is proven correct as Goldberg crashes in behind the Rock with a charging double ax handle to his back that sends him lurching forward. Goldberg is back on him in a second, delivering hard clubbing blows to his back and leading him by the hair to the barricade where Goldberg bounces his face off of the hard steel. Goldberg then throws the Rock into the barricade opposite, which the Rock lands in a slump against. Goldberg crosses the floor and puts a boot to the Rock's throat, choking him mercilessly as he uses the barricade for leverage. The fans are booing heavily at this display of savagery as Goldberg keeps the chokehold going for several more moments, then steps down off of Rock's throat and bends over to grab him, hoist him to his feet and toss him into the ring. Goldberg jogs up the ring steps and enters and the official is immediately in his face, giving him a stern rebuke. Goldberg decks the official upside the head and shouts, "Just ring the damn bell or I'll break your lily ass in half!" The official does as he is told.
-VERSUS-
DING DING DING!
Corey Graves: And here we go with what should be a very competitive one-on-one match between...
Tom Phillips: Oh, come ON, Corey! Competitive? Goldberg just ambushed the Rock. You can't call this like it's going to be a fair fight.
Goldberg wastes no time, immediately moving to the Rock's prone body and putting the boots to him. The Rock eats several hard stomps before rolling out of the ring to land with a thump on the outside. Goldberg follows him out, pulls him to his feet and bounces his face off the steel corner post nearest the two men, then throws him back in the ring. Goldberg slides in and makes the cover.

...NO!
The Rock gets a foot on the ropes!
Tom Phillips: The Rock avoids defeat for now but one wonders how long he can last.
Goldberg is wanting to end this quickly, knowing the longer it takes, the more time Rock has to come back into it. He climbs off of Rocky and hauls him to his feet, but as he does Rock breaks loose and hits him with a hard right! The punch staggers Goldberg and Rock follows up with four more before unloading with an open-palmed smack that grounds Goldberg. Da Man rolls onto hands and knees and springs back to his feet, but as he does Rocky hits the ropes and comes back, grounding him with a clothesline! Rocky repeats this twice more and Goldberg is no longer so quick to get vertical, instead rolling out of the ring to spit and shake his head. Goldberg then climbs back up on the apron and Rocky already starts to close, so Goldberg shouts for the official to give him some space and the official orders the Rock to hold off. The official does as he is told, keeping the Rock back while Goldberg enters the ring. Just as the referee steps aside, Goldberg charges in and connects with a bone-crunching spear! The fans ones more erupt in tremendous heat as Goldberg gets to his feet and rampages around the ring.
Tom Phillips: Goldberg takes advantage of the referee's involvement here to gain an edge. Disgusting.
Corey Graves: He's doing what he needs to do to win!
Da Man moves back in on the Rock and pulls him to his feet, but the Rock has more fight in him still as he shoves Goldberg away! Goldberg comes right back in looking for another spear, but Rocky has it sighted and lifts a knee up at just the right time to connect flush with the bridge of Goldberg's nose! Goldberg shoots up to a full vertical, clutching at his nose for a moment before Rock moves in with the Rock Bottom clutch and the fans pop! That pop soon turns to more heat, however, as Goldberg gets an elbow into the side of the Rock's head, staggering him. Goldberg then knees him, clutches him, lifts him up and hits the Jackhammer! Goldberg immediately hooks the leg.

DING DING DING!
Here is your winner,
GOLDBERG!
Tom Phillips: What a disgusting victory here tonight Corey!
Corey Graves: Goldberg used the element of surprise to his advantage, got the drop on his enemy and now Da Man has shown us why he is called that with a major victory over the equally iconic Rock.
Tom Phillips: This victory is hollow. Despicable.
Goldberg parades around the ring in victory for several moments while Rock remains laid out. Da Man finally turns toward the Rock and looks down on him, smirking, as the feed heads on elsewhere, the fans continuing to boo the ever-loving shit out of Da Man in the meanwhile.
The titantron switches from the UWF NXT graphic to a video, filmed in a mostly empty arena, presumably from earlier that day. The Young Bucks are shown standing in the vacant Section 17.
Matt: Oh whatsup there dorks? Young Bucks comin' at ya from, oh, I'd say about four-and-a-half hours ago. We got here early, like we always do, because that's what champions should do. And I don't just mean me, the undefeated, undisputed UWF Transatlantic Champion... I mean us, the RIGHTFUL UWF UNIFIED World Tag Team Champions.
Nick: The Wyatts might be holding on to those titles, but we all know that the only reason they have them is because EC3 has screwed us over time and time again. It's the same with Kevin. We try to stand up for what's right, and what do we get for it?
Matt: We get crapped on, Nick, that's what.
Nick nods solemnly as he continues.
Nick: That's exactly right. But we're not gonna sink to that level. We're gonna keep on being the best team in the world. We're gonna keep on acting like the champions we know we are. And once The First Wrestler's Union is officially recognized by the government of this beautiful country, the so called "powers that be" will have no choice but to do exactly what we say, when we say it.
Matt: And speaking of, we've got a special little surprise in store for all you boys and girls out there. We've heard the criticisms, we've read the dirtsheets and the nasty little tweets...
"The Young Bucks don't know what unions are or how they work" or "The amount of legal know how required to accomplish what the Bucks have set out to do is so far beyond them that they'd have more success pursuing careers as astronauts" and "This angle is dumb".
But you know what we say to that? We say SUUUUUUUUUUCK IT, because we've got an expert coming in. So all you haters and doubters and especially one Mr. Palmer Cannon can kick rocks, cause we're bringing in the big guns to get this shiz done.
Nick: Now as far as business tonight goes, well, same old song and dance, right? How many times have we beat The Dudley Boyz before? Twice?
Matt: Thrice?
Nick: Frice?
Matt: At frggin least.
Nick: Us beating them again tonight is as predictable as us knowing that in a few hours, these empty chairs here will be filled with a bunch of ungrateful, uneducated maroons who wouldn't know real talent if it came up and bit 'em in the face.
But ya know what? No worries. Like we said, we're just gonna keep doing our thing, and mark my words, it won't be long until it pays off big time. So all you people can just sit back and watch as we prove that we're the best tag team of all time.... all over again.
Matt: Buh-bye.
The Bucks wave goodbye as the video cuts out. NXT continues elsewhere.
The crowd are quiet, waiting for something to happen but the silence doesn't last long as fireworks shoot from the ceiling down onto the stage as a familiar theme song plays out of the PA System.
YER, WERE COMING DOWN
GET UP, GET UP, GET UP
DROP THE BOMBSHELL.
The crowd rise to their feet as they wait for the appearance of the Former Tag Team Champions. Surely enough, two figures emerge from the back, all dressed up in cameo gear with glasses on their head without the lens Devon runs to one side, doing the usual Devon stuff he does whilst Bubba stays dead center of the stage. Devon walks back to the center joining Bubba. Bubba has his glasses in his hand while Devon takes his off
Bubba points towards the ring as both Dudleyz start to run towards the ring, ignoring the fans bending over the side rails asking for a high five. They both slide into the ring, and head to one corner to prepare for the upcoming match.
The two-tone guitar riff hits the speakers and is immediately met with some serious hate from the capacity crowd. The Young Bucks strut our on to the ramp, their pace calm and casual, their expressions unimpressed and even disgusted as they stop on the stage and look down towards their opponents in the ring. The First Wrestlers Union members start to reluctant head to the ring to meet with their challengers tonight. Both Nick and Matt walk up the stares and enter into the ring. They briefly discuss who is going to start the match first before Nick heads to the apron.
Tom Phillips: It looks like Matt will start this tag team match out for the Bucks.
Corey Graves: You don't say? Why else would he leave the ring you idiot.
Without saying a word, Devon stays in the ring and Bubba takes his place on the apron.
Corey Graves: Wanna take a guess on who's starting for the Dudleyz, Tom?
Tom Phillips: Well Id have to guess Bubba.
Both Devon and Matt look across the ring at each other before the ref rings the bell to start the match.
DING DING DING
Tom Phillips: I have a feeling this will be a war. Remember that these two teams are no strangers to each other but in every single encounter, the Young Bucks have come out on top.
Corey Graves: And why is tonight going to be any different? The Young Bucks are obviously better, Tom. Now shut up so I can watch them beat the Dudleyz once again.
Matt and Devon circle each other for a few laps, trying to find the perfect way to start. They slowly start in for a lock up but before the touch, Matt knees Devon in the gut. Matt laughs for suckering in Devon but before he can follow up, Devon runs at Matt with a huge clothesline. Matt falls to mat but quickly bounces back up. Devon goes for another clothesline but Matt ducks it while running to the ropes, he bounces off and comes back with a clothesline of his own but Devon ducks down and hoists Matt into the air to deliver a back body drop.
Tom Phillips: Devon's size advantage is starting to come into play early on.
Corey Graves: Size can only get you so far, Tom. The speed, and agility and over all brilliance is what the Young Bucks have used time and time again to beat the Dudleyz and they;re going to do it again tonight.
Matt hits the canvas and clutches his back in pain, he quickly crawls to his corner and tags in his partner, Nick. Devon stands in the ring, taunting Nick to come at him. Slowly Nick enters the ring and now Nick and Devon begin to circle each other. This time they do achieve a lock up but Devon uses his strength to push Nick out of it rather easily. Nick tries for another lock up but once again Devon out powers him and sends him back again. Nick takes a second to think of a game plan before going in for another lock up. However this time Nick falls back to clutch Devon around the waist. Devon tries to shake Nick but its no good. Devon swings his elbows back trying to hit Nick but he ducks everyone. Devon swings his elbow back but Nick lets go and lets Devon spin around where he met with an enziguri from Nick. Nick tries to follow up with a quick pin attempt.
1
Kickout!
Tom Phillips: Its going to take more than that to put away someone like Devon
Corey Graves: You don't think they know that? This is just a smart move to force early kickouts and wear the Dudleyz down. What are they, like 50 now?
Devon powers out of the pinfall attempt rather easily and is back on his feet. Nick starts a fury of forearms on the Devon, sending him staggering back into the ropes. With Devon leaning on the ropes, Nick grabs his arm and shoots him across the ring with an irish whip. Devon hits the ropes but as his hits, Bubba slaps him on the back to tag in, Nick doesn't notice this, but still hits Devon with a huge forearm on Devon's return. Nick goes to pick Devon up but his cracked in the back by an ax handle from Bubba. Nick falls to one knee as Devon rolls out of the ring. Bubba starts his classic trash talk and smacks Nick a few times while hes on his knee. Bubba slowly bounces off the ropes to come back at Nick but Nick rolls out of the way and back to his feet. Bubba turns around to face Nick when out of no where he is blasted by a super kick!
Corey Graves: Shut up, Tom! Its starting! A superkick party!
Bubba goes down hard and Nick takes this moment to capitalize. He starts to trash talk Bubba himself while kicking him again and again. He then heads over to his brother and tags him in, Matt and Nick both pick Bubba off the mat and both of them irish whip him off the ropes. Bubba runs back and The Bucks both duck down to give Bubba a huge two man back body drop. The Bucks Too Sweet each other before Nick goes to stand on the apron. Matt continues the attack by lifting Bubba back to his feet. He pulls Bubba by the head over to the corner and leans him against it. Matt goes to the opposite corner and runs full steam ahead and crashes into Bubba with a huge splash in the corner. Bubba falls down, now sitting in the corner. Matt goes to the opposite side once again and this time runs at him and hits a seated Bubba with drop kick.
Tom Phillips: Now The Bucks have the Dudleyz exactly where they want them.
Corey Graves: Being in control and dictating the match is so important. But you wouldn't know anything about that Tom.
Matt starts to smile and toy with Bubba. He lifts Bubba to his knee but then smacks him back down to the Matt. Devon is on the apron, arm out stretched trying to get back into the match. Nick goes to pick Bubba up but Bubba catches Nicks leg and trips him forward, sending him right into the turnbuckle pad. Bubba gets back to his feet, and drags Nick to the center of the ring. Bubba picks Nick up from the mat with ease and strikes him a few times. Nick stumbles back but Bubba stays on the attack. He scoops Nick up and slams him down the mat. Nick arches his back to relieve some pressure but Bubba lifts Nick up from the canvas once again. He whips Nick into the corner and runs after him to splash him in the corner. Nick falls to the mat limp.
Tom Phillips: And just like that, Bubba has regained control of the match.
Corey Graves: The Young Bucks know what they're doing. Don't count them out yet!
Bubba starts to yell at Nick. Nick tries to crawl to his brother but Bubba cuts him off by grabbing his leg. He drags him over to the Dudleyz corner where Bubba tags in Devon. Bubba takes Nicks other leg and spreads them while Devon climbs to the top rope. Devon perches on top the ropes and the crowd begins to cheer. Devon slowly stands vertical and with the crowd following along screams Whazz Upp!? and jumps off with a flying headbutt to Nicks groin. Nick doubles over in pain as Bubba leaves the ring.
Tom Phillips: Whats upppp!?!?
Corey Graves: Would you shut up! How is that move even legal!? That should be an instant DQ. This is unjust to the First Wrestling Union members!
Devon makes the cover

NO! Nick gets his shoulder up.
Nick kicks out and once again starts to scurry over to his brother on the apron but Devon cuts him off. He drags him back to the center of the ring and drops and elbow on him. Devon gets back to his feet and brings Nick up to his feet as well. He goes to pick Nick up over his shoulder but Nick falls behind him. Nick uses Devon's shoulder to turn him and steps back to throw a super kick but Devon sidesteps out of the way, now Devon turns Nick to face him and tries to level him with a clothesline but Nick ducks it. Devon turns around to see Nick running at him, Devon quickly ducks and lifts Nick up for a back body drop but Nick flips out and lands on his feet! Nick uses the ropes to bounce off of and runs back at Devon, flying through the air for a cross body but Devon catches him in midair! Devon holds Nick in his hands and swings him out sending him flying to the mat. Nick crashes down in the center of the ring and Devon runs to the ropes and bounces back to go for a running splash but Nick rolls out of the way and Devon falls face first to the mat. Nick takes this small window to quickly tag in his brother, Matt. Matt quickly enters the ring and and does a low drop kick to Devon's head. Nick is still in the ring and both the Bucks bring Devon to his feet. Bubba enters the ring to even the odds and comes running at Nick with a clothesline but Nick ducks it Bubba turns around and both Bucks let out Superkicks! Matt superkicks Devon in stereo with Nick superkicking Bubba. Matt covers Devon!
Corey Grave: A SUPER KICK PARTY!!!
Tom Phillips: This could very well score The Young Bucks another victory over The Dudleyz

NO!
At the last minute, Devon gets his shoulder up and both Bucks are in complete shock. The ref tries to regain control and starts counting for Nick to leave the ring, but he blows him off. The Bucks begin to unmercifully stomp both the Dudleyz. The ref starts to back Nick up and Nick finally leaves the ring. Bubba at this time rolls out of the ring in a heap, and lays ringside. Matt walks over and tags in Nick but stays in the ring. Both of them bring Devon to his feet and both of them suplex Devon to the mat. They stay on the attack and bring Devon to his feet again. They drag him to the corner and lean him against the turn buckle pads. Matt continuously drives his shoulders into Devon's gut again and again. He then drops down on all fours as his brother comes running. Nick steps off of Matt's back to propel him into the air where he delivers a drop quick right to Devon's face.
Tom Phillips: Right on the button.
Corey Graves: This could be the moment the Young Bucks need to end this match once and for all. Chalk up another win for The Bucks.
Both Bucks start to pose as both Dudleyz are laid out. Bubba on the outside and Devon in the ring. Get him up! says Matt as both Bucks bring Devon to his feet. Matt holds Devon's arm while Nick climbs to the top rope. Just as Nicks jumps, Devon breaks free and pushs Matt away and catches his Nick on his shoulders. He then drives him down in a huge sit out powerbomb!
Tom Phillips: Oh my god! What a move! What a counter!
Corey Graves: And here come the pin attempt. Kick out! Kick out!

NO!
Somehow, Nick gets his shoulder up just in time. Both men lay, tired in the ring. Bubba has come back to it though and his back on his apron, calling for a tag. Matt is back on his apron as well and both Devon and Nick start to crawl to their corners. Devon reaches first and tags in Bubba. Nick does a last minute desperation leap and tags in his brother, Matt. Both Matt and Bubba come running at one another but Bubba shoulder tackles him down. Matt tries to run at him again but is met with another shoulder tackle to the mat. Matt gets back to his feet and once again runs at Bubba but this time Bubba lifts him dopes him down on his knee for an Atomic Drop. Matt clutches his groin in pain and drops to his knees. Bubba smells the end of and signals for a 3D! The crowd pops, ready to see The Bucks put away. Devon enters into the ring and gets into position. Bubba lifts Matt up in the flap jack position but wait! Nick pushes Devon out of the way and he catches his brother! Nick pulls Matt from Bubba's arm, and Bubba turns around to face them and both Nick and Matt drill Bubba with a double Superkick!
Corey Graves: What smarts! What brilliance! This is the greatest tag team ever! Did you see how Nick caught his own brother in the 3D! This! This is why the Dudleyz have never been able to beat The Young Bucks!
Matt makes the cover on Bubba.

NO!
Devon makes the save and hits Matt during the pin attempt.
Tom Phillips: At the last possibly minute, Devon makes the save to keep the Dudleyz in this match.
Corey Graves: That was it! That should have been it! But Devon had to resort to cheating!
Nick jumps on Devon and they brawl out of the ring. Nick strikes Devon again and again on the outside. Back in the ring both Matt and Bubba are back up to their feet. Matt moves first and pushes Bubba into the corner. He lifts Bubba up to sit him down on the top rope. Carefully, Matt starts to climb the ropes from the inside. Matt jumps up and hooks his legs around Bubba's neck to go for huge top rope hurricanrana but no! Bubba holds on, and Matt is down dangling upside down, his legs caught around Bubba's neck. Bubba uses his strength to bring Matt back up to a seated position on Bubba's shoulders. Bubba stands up and jumps down, driving Matt to the canvas with a huge, top rope, sit-out power bomb!
Tom Phillips: That's it! That's gotta be it. Hes broken in half!
Corey Graves: No! This cant be it!
Bubba remains seated to follow through with the 3 count.

NICK BREAKS IT UP!
Corey Graves: What a genius!
Tom Phillips: But when Devon broke up the Bucks pin attempt you called it cheating!
Corey Graves: I can call it whatever I want, you idiot. When Devon did it, it was cheating. Nick doing it is just pure genius.
At the last second Nick slides back into the ring and saves his brother from pinfall. Nick is trying to revive his brother but its not good, Matt is out of it. Bubba gets back to his feet however and Nick and Bubba start to fight each other. They trade blow for blow until Bubba ducks a forearm, spinning Nicks back to Bubba. Bubba catches him in a hammer lock hold and lifts him to drive him down to do his signature Bubba Bomb! Nick rolls out of the ring as Devon re-enters. Bubba lifts Matt's still limp body from the canvas and lifts him up in the flapjack position and Devon catches him with cutter. 3D! Dudleyz successfully hit the 3D and Bubba quickly jumps on Matt for the cover!
Corey Graves: No No No!! Not like this!

DING DING DING
Tony Chimel: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS . THE DUDLEY BOYZ!!!!
The ref slaps the mat for 3! And that's it! The Dudleyz have won it!
Corey Graves: This is a travesty!
Tom Phillips: The Dudley Boyz have finally done it. They've finally bested The Young Bucks. They have taken down their white whale.
Corey Graves: I cant believe you're happy about this, Tom. You're sick!
The Dudleyz celebrate with each other and each take up a spot on the turnbuckle. Matt rolls out of the ring and Nick and Matt help each other up. They stare into the ring at the celebrating Dudleyz. They cant believe that just lost. From inside the ring, Bubba can be heard screaming at them "We got you!" The Young Bucks head to back as the feed fades out on The Dudleyz celebration.
The feed is taken to an unknown backstage area where Baron Corbin stands infront of a chain link fence.
Baron Corbin
A lot of people have been asking, and have been wondering... Where is Baron Corbin? What happened to Baron Corbin. A lot of people have been wondering how my loses at the Royal Rumble have affected me. Why I have been so silent in the last few weeks? I'm here to tell you that Baron Corbin is not going anywhere. I am still the alpha male of NXT. I am still the top predator of the UWF. I still sit atop the food chain around here.
Baron takes a deep breath in.
Baron Corbin
I failed to win the Royal Rumble. I failed to win the Intercontinental title. I let the two biggest opportunities of my career pass me by. Do you think I'm happy about that? No. I'm pissed off. I'm pissed off at myself that I failed. But is that going to stop me? No. There's no damn way that I'm letting that stop me. I will not let two loses define who I am. I will not let those loses stop me from the being the most dominate force in NXT. I lost my chance at the Main event of WrestleMania, but you can bet your ass that I will still make it to the grandest stage of them all. I will do whatever it takes to get there. I will take down whoever is put in my way to get that. I will scratch and claw and I will survive like I've done my whole entire life!
Baron calms down just a bit.
Baron Corbin
Do you know whats scarier than a wolf? A wolf with nothing to lose. But everything to gain. I don't care who I have to beat, what I have to do, but I will lay waste to NXT on my road to WrestleMania. If anyone thinks that they can stop me I dare.. I DARE them to step up and try. I will not be denied any more. What I want... I'm taking. So I'm putting everyone on notice. From the bottom of the roster to the top. The End of Days is here.
Baron rattles the cage, and walks off.
As the unfamiliar tune of Regulate by Warren G blasts throughout the arena, and into the ears of everyone in the arena, the crowd, minus a few die hard indy fans, collectively make a Huh sound. That is until Matt Riddle walks through the curtain with a cheesy smile plastered across his face.
Immediately the fans start to chants of "Bro" start to fill the arena. Riddle makes his way down the ramp, chuckling the entire way.
Tony Chimel: The follow contest is scheduled for on fall! Introducing first, from Las Vegas Nevada, weighing in at 210 pounds, Matt Riddle!
Matt finally enters the ring and walks to the center, dropping to a knee and stretching out his arms. He holds the pose for a moment until Corbin's theme hits.
The roar of the motorbike! The snarling riff! The drumming drums! It all serves to welcome Baron Corbin to the arena.
Tony Chimel: And his opponent, from Kansas City, weighing in at 275 pounds, Baron Corbin!
Baron Corbin, the former NFL'er with a successful boxing background and a less-than-successful attempt to hold on to his full head of hair walks down the ramp. The crowd are hardly happy to see him. "The Lone Wolf" couldn't care less about them, though. He enters the ring and gets ready to square up with the NXT newcomer.
DING DING DING
Corbin squares up and walks to the center of the ring. Being the bigger of the two, he has a power advantage but Riddle steps up to the plate, ready to swing away. He dances around Corbin for a bit, looking for an opening. Corbin dodges a few jabs but Riddle goes low for an kick to the outside of Corbin's leg. Baron winces from it but otherwise stays on mission. He goes for a hook but Riddle ducks under it and takes his waist. It looks at if he's trying to a german suplex but Corbin simple elbows him in the side of the head to get free. Riddle staggers back a few steps but runs forward only to get taken down by another back elbow from Corbin.
Corey Graves: Haha, nothing makes me smile more than seeing an arrogant MMA deuchebag get the snot beaten out of him.
Tom Phillips: This match just started Corey, I wouldn't be so quick to write him off.
Corbin bends down to pick up Riddle off the mat but the altered bro grabs onto his arm and quickly cinches in an armbar! Corbin tries to scramble to find a way out but Riddle just rotates with him as he tries to get away. Corbin drops to a knee before standing back up and lifting Riddle with him. He uses his power to bring Riddle all the way up before slamming him down in a seated powerbomb! He stays in the position for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Riddle gets the shoulder up! Corbin gets up and grabs Riddle by the hair, bringing him up to his feet. He strikes Matt with an elbow that knocks him back into a corner. From there. Corbin smothers him with back elbows before just grabbing him by the hair and tossing him overhead to the center of the ring. Riddle lands hard and rolls to the apron but Corbin is quick to follow up. He goes between the ropes to pick up Riddle but Matt kicks him in the side of the head to stun him, then he kicks him once more to send him reeling back into the ring. Riddle gets to his feet and enters the ring, running at Corbin with a crossbody. The Lone Wolf is able to catch him in mid air though and he shakes his head. He lifts him up as if going for a fallaway slam but Riddle transition into guillotine choke hold!
Tom Phillips: Guillotine! This could be the end of the match right here!
Corey Graves: Now who's counting people out Phillips!
Riddle has the hold in deep, Corbin's body being hunched over but still up on both feet. Riddle tries to pull harder but Corbin uses his strength once again to lift up Riddle in a suplex position. Riddle ends up kicking his feet however and coming back down, planting Corbin with a DDT! Riddle doesn't go for a cover, instead opting to rest up a bit himself before getting up. He sees Corbin start to come to as he gets up on his hands and knees. Riddle floats over him for an Oklahoma Roll for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
And Corbin rolls back to get his shoulders off the mat! Now back on his feet, Corbin runs forward and turns Riddle inside out with a devastating clothesline. He doesn't waste any time picking him riddle and throwing him into the corner. From there he connects with a running clothesline into the corner that lifts Riddle up off his feet. The crowd boos and it just makes Corbin smile as he whips Matt hard across the ring. He runs at him looking for another corner clothesline but this time Matt gets his feet up to kick Corbin in the face. The Lone Wolf stumbles backwards and so Riddle runs at him, looking for what, we'll never know as Corbin catches him with the Deep Six! Riddle gets planted hard on the mat and Corbin hooks the leg for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
And Riddle kicks out!
Tom Phillips: Baron Corbin almost able to put Matt Riddle away right there.
Corey Graves: Just give it time Phillips, this loser bro is no match for the Lone Wolf. And bro is a stupid catchphrase! These people are idiots for chanting it!
Yes the crowd has begun to chant "bro" for the altered bro himself, hoping to get him back into the fight. Corbin starts to pick him up and tells the fans he's about to end the bro but Riddle catches him with another kick to the leg that has Corbin hopping on one foot. Baron swings hard at Riddle who ducks under it and now takes his back, this time hitting the german suplex! Corbin doesn't stay down long enough for Riddle to make a pinfall attempt but that's no problem for him as he's waiting for the big man to get back to his feet. When Corbin turns around, Riddle grabs him and hooks his leg, bridging with a nice fisherman suplex for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
But Corbin kicks out! He ends up rolling to the outside to get away from Riddle. He slams the mat in frustration, pacing back and forth as Riddle tells him to come in the ring and bring it, even going so far as to holds the ropes for him to enter. Corbin looks as if he's about to go in but instead waves it off and heads up the ramp. The ref was already at a count of 7 so by the time Corbin is at the top of the stage he has been counted out.
Tony Chimel: Here is your winner as a result of a count out, Matt Riddle!
Riddle gets his hand raised and he looks sort of happy but would have much rather tapped Corbin out in his debut. Regardless, he heads up to the corner and poses o the turnbuckles, the crowd chanting "Bro" at him until the live feed goes elsewhere.
The action of NXT rolls to a backstage segment as an empty part of the area backstage is shown on the Titantron. It isn't long before a figure comes pacing into view of the camera. The figure in question: Owen Hart. His Hardcore title in his left hand Owen is pacing very deliberately back and forth. He continues this as he begins to speak, but not in his usual calm and deliberate manner. His voice is very passionate with a hint of malice, the same style that breaks through his demeanor in the ring.
Owen Hart
A bottom feeder?! You think that I'm a bottom feeder?! Well Kurt, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And while you may look at the Hardcore title as the very bottom of what NXT and wrestling in general are all about, but to me I am PROUD to call myself the Hardcore champion. I'll take this broken gold around my waist compared to the nothing around yours. Because it's what this title represents to me that matters the most. You look at the title's history and judge it solely based off that. You see names like Jimmy Uso, Steve Blackman and now me and expect me to roll over and die. But Kurt, that's just not a thing I do. But you will. I am a man of my word and when I say I'm going to kill two birds with one stone.....
Owen now stops pacing and steps closer to the camera, his words with more malice behind them now.
Owen Hart
....I damn well mean it. It doesn't matter what I get my hands on tonight, whether it's a kendo stick, a chair, a sledgehammer or even just a brick. I will welcome you into MY world. A world where "Stop" is just white noise to me. A world where blood is as normal as sweat. A world where creativity is measured by the volume of your screams. This goes double for Punk. In time he will thank me for what I'm doing to him. But you, you won't be able to thank me when I'm done with you.
So yes, I chose to start my Road to Wrestlemania further back than all of you. Three steps behind is what you said and you'd be right. Because I'm running just to keep your back in view. Waiting for that perfect moment. I'll wait until you're reaching your hand out to grab that brass ring finally, to finally slide that knife into your back and just......twist.
Remember Kurt, you're on this path for glory. I'm on this path to destroy. You're running to the end and I'm running straight for you. Enjoy your last moments, because I know I'll enjoy your last moments.
With that said a sadistic grin spreads across Owen's face as the feed fades away and NXT rolls on.
The arena awaits the next action and suddenly the music that wasn't heard in a while hits the PA system.
And all of sudden, Samoa Joe comes out on stage with an aggressive look on his face as he awaits nothing and doesn't even mentions the reaction he gets from the NXT universe as he walks down the ramp just right into the ring
Posted Image
Joe picks up mic from the steel steps and rolls into the ring and stands right in the middle of the squared circle as he raises the mic and starts to talk...
Samoa Joe: So this is NXT. You see... In the past few months people asked me... What's Next? What's Next Joe? Where are you going next Joe? Who are you going to target next Joe? Who are you going to KILL next Joe? And you know what? Do you know what? I DIDN'T KNOW! I didn't know cause there was nothing left for Samoa Joe! In my career I've faced nearly every single superstar that meaned something in this business. More important I've beat everyone that meaned something in this business! That was until a certain someone told me about UWF. And the NXT....
People cheer for Samoa Joe a lot before he continues...
And so here I am. Standing in the middle of this ring and do you want to know what's running through my mind huh? Violence. Do you know what's running through veins? Pain. Do you know what's in my muscles? Destruction... And when you put these three things together you get Samoa Joe. Because in every house I've been, in every gym I've wrestled when I left the building there were only these things left around Pain and destruction. Everywhere I've stepped into this ring I left bodies behind me. And everywhere I've been I had only one goal and one goal only. And that is to be the champion...
People cheer for Joe once again this time a little bit more as Joe erupts and looks right into the camera
This brings me to why I'm here! I'm here to cause a freakin' chaos! I'm here to hurt people! I'm here to end careers! I'm here to put people to sleep! I'm here to become a champion. And if it means I get to come through every single wannabe that's in that locker room, so be it. I'm not afraid of anybody or anything that steps in my way. And if anyone actually steps in my way... Joe... Is gonna kill you!
Joe throws away the mic as crowd goes along with JOE IS GONNA KILL YOU chant and Joe slowly gets out of the ring and walks to the back...
Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen the following is a non-title tag team contest and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, at a combined weight of 450 pounds, the team of Nick Miller and Shane Thorne... TM-61!
The seminal Wolfmother single hits and the fans get on their feet, cheering. There's little wait as the Australian duo known as TM-61 emerge from the back, all business as they head down the ramp and slide right in the ring. The pair perform their signature pose when they get there, but don't hold it for long before heading to their corner to stretch and talk strategy while awaiting their foes for the evening.
Tony Chimel: And introducing their opponents, accompanied by Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman... they are the UWF Unified World Tag Team Champions. At a combined weight of 590 pounds, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan... the Wyatt Family!
The lights go out. The fireflies begin to glow. A lantern appears. In the shadows of that lantern's light can be seen four beards. The lantern glides methodically down the ramp, the beards following close behind, as the fans sway in the darkness. Not out of admiration for the champions, but in awe at this tremendous display. Still, there is a hint of unease in the air as the foursome reach the foot of the ramp. Two of the beards exit the light, presumably to enter the ring. The third heads to ringside, leaving just the solitary individual holding the lamp. It's Bray Wyatt, and he brings the lamp before his face, holding it and laughing maniacally. Then, he blows the lantern out, and the arena lights return as the official performs his checks and then calls for the starting bell.
DING DING DING!
The match kicks off with Thorne standing opposite Harper in the ring while Rowan and Miller step to the outside. Thorne sizes up the comparably larger man as they pace back and forth and close in on each other, and then attempts to tie the big man up. For his efforts he catches a knee to the gut and an Irish whip, and on rebound he is greeted with a nasty spinebuster! Harper immediately hauls Thorne to his feet and lays into him with a hard chop to the chest that puts Thorne on the back foot. Harper then connects to his chest with an open-palmed strike that causes Thorne to stumble back into the ropes. As he rebounds, Harper doubles over to attempt a back body drop, but Thorne actually lifts a boot up and kicks him square on the nose! Harper shoots to a full vertical position and looks wide-eyed and furious as he swings with a huge lariat -- swing and a miss as Thorne ducks under! Thorne runs for the ropes and comes back looking for a crossbody but as he leaps, Harper braces and catches him mid-air, then spins him out in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Thorne hits the canvas and immediately rolls out to the apron as Harper gets back to his feet and tugs at his beard.
Tom Phillips: An early and intense exchange between Luke Harper and Shane Thorne and right now, the Wyatt family is showing once more why they are our UWF Unified World Tag Champions.
Corey Graves: Look, Tom, TM-61 are a strong and cohesive duo, but it's going to take more than strength and cohesion to defeat these two giants and their two buddies who are standing by on the outside. They're all monstrous men, and it's nearly impossible to fathom one of them being kept down long enough to pin.
Harper finally tires of waiting and lumbers over to the ropes, leaning over them to grab Thorne by the hair and pull him to his feet. When Thorne is vertical, the Australian throws a wild forearm that catches Harper flat-footed and to the side of the head, staggering him. Harper comes back into a second forearm, and then a third, before Thorne comes between the top and second rope with a shoulder thrust that doubles Harper over. Thorne then flips over the ropes and pulls Harper into a roll-up!
1...
...NO!
Corey Graves: You're not going to beat the Wyatts on a roll-up cover, especially with the stakes as high as they are in this match.
Tom Phillips: For whom are the stakes high? The titles aren't on the line, so the Wyatts don't need to win this match.
Corey Graves: True, but their rivalry with TM-61 has been one that has been set on the backburner and slowly coming to a boil, and they'd love nothing more than to deny the Australian pair a shot at their belts.
Thorne gets to his feet and runs for the ropes as Harper sits up from the cover. Thorne hits the ropes and comes back with a low dropkick straight to Harper's face, putting him back on the canvas! Thorne hooks the leg, but doesn't even get a one-count as Harper tosses him off. Harper then gets to hands and knees but, as he does, Thorne runs for the corner, leaps up onto the top turnbuckle, and flips off of it in a quick moonsault! As Thorne takes flight, Harper rolls out of the way and the Aussie crashes and burns while Harper heads to his corner to tag in a fresh Erick Rowan.
Tom Phillips: A brutal evasion and now Shane Thorne is in trouble here, Corey.
Corey Graves: It's bad enough crashing and burning like that, but when you're in the ring against these behemoths... well, that's just a huge competitive disadvantage.
Thorne is on his hands and knees with a hand on the ropes when Rowan finally crosses over to him. Rowan grabs him by the back of the head and pulls him to his feet and Thorne tries to drive him off with a forearm, but Rowan straight no-sells it before connecting with a thrust to Thorne's throat! Thorne reels from the impact, landing in the corner, and Rowan closes the gap and hits a few knee thrusts before stepping out of the corner, then lurching back in with a body avalanche! All of the wind is robbed from Thorne's sails as Rowan pulls away and the Aussie collapses in a seated heap in that corner. Rowan roars as he stomps away from the corner and catches some heat from the crowd before he comes back in to pull Thorne to his feet, doubling over only to catch a boot to his face! Rowan is staggered by the boot, but comes back in looking to grab Thorne again, and once more he catches that boot. This time Thorne has bought himself enough time to get to his feet and Rowan snarls as he starts to come back in, but Thorne connects with an enziguri! Rowan slumps to one knee and Thorne heads for the ropes again, once more coming back with a low dropkick to the face! Rowan flops to the canvas and Thorne, rather than wasting time for the cover, heads to his corner to tag in his partner.
Corey Graves: Shane Thorne very smartly tagging out there as he has been the longest-running competitor in this match without a rest.
Tom Phillips: It's true that the key to winning tag matches is staying fresh.
Corey Graves: Especially against a foe like the Wyatts.
Miller closes on Rowan, who is back up to one knee, and immediately wraps him up in a headlock. Miller wrenches on the side headlock, making sure to apply a tremendous amount of pressure on Rowan with the wear-down hold. Rowan slowly starts to slump, clearly fading, but Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman -- watching from the outside -- start pounding on the apron to get Rowan back into the match. Harper soon joins them by stomping, and Rowan starts to find his feet again. Miller wrenches the hold once again, but that is little deterrent as Rowan finds his feet and drives Miller back into the ropes and then tosses him across the ring with an Irish whip. Miller hits the ropes opposite and rebounds straight into a big boot! Miller is nearly beheaded as Rowan falls in for a cover amid the boos of the crowd.

...
The lights cut out.
Tom Phillips: Oh, come ON!
Corey Graves: Here we go again. You would think these losers would have learned a thing or two about the Wyatt Family at the Royal Rumble.
The lights come back up and Decay's Crazzy Steve and Abyss are already more than halfway down the ramp, but Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman are standing by waiting for them. Rosemary and Blackman are standing at the top of the stage and Rosemary whispers something in Blackman's ear before the pair start charging down the ramp to join their stablemates, who by now are fully engaged with Bray Wyatt and Strowman. Crazzy Steve is being thrown around like a ragdoll by Strowman but Abyss actually has the upper hand on Wyatt as Harper steps off the apron to assist his Family in the brawl on the outside. Meanwhile, Rowan is watching the brawl and preparing to go join it before Thorne hits him from behind with a forearm! Rowan turns around, but as he does, he turns into a double step-up enziguri from TM-61! Rowan is rocked, but stays on his feet as TM-61 recover, pull him from the ropes, and in a shocking feat of strength lift him into the air and connect with Thunder Valley! The crowd pop as Miller makes the cover and they count with the official:

DING DING DING
Here are your winners,
Nick Miller and Shane Thorne
TM-61!
Tom Phillips: They've done it, Corey! TM-61 have beaten the World Tag Champions and that's as powerful a claim as any for a title match in the near future.
Corey Graves: There was something of a distraction there as... oh look out!
Graves has to scramble as Steve Blackman is sent crashing over the announce table by a rampaging Braun Strowman, who has now turned on Abyss and laid him out with a brutal haymaker. Strowman thumps his chest and roars as he turns on Rosemary who fixes him with the most innocent look in the world before spitting the red mist in his face! Strowman howls and claws at his face as Crazzy Steve smashes his knee with a chair, putting him on one knee, and then bashes him over the head with the steel. Just as he finishes that, Harper takes him out from behind with a discus punch to the back of the head! Rosemary, flanked by Wyatt and Harper, hops the barricade as the Wyatts pursue her into the crowd! Meanwhile, Miller and Thorne watch the chaos from in the ring, their arms raised high in victory. The pair turn to exit the squared circle... and are met with a pair of superkicks! The fans erupt in tremendous heat as the Young Bucks loom over the Australians, laughing.
Corey Graves: Matt and Nick Jackson just invited TM-61 to a superkick party!
Tom Phillips: What the Hell! Can't these union losers let two guys celebrate their victory in peace?
Corey Graves: You mean the way TM-61 let them compete for the tag titles in their rematch, Tom? Come on. Let's be fair.
The Bucks stand tall over TM-61, talking trash as the fans shower them in heat and the feed moves on.
The titantron lights up and all we see is a close up of a black tie against a white shirt. As the camera starts to pan out we see a hand adjust said tie and soon see more of the suit. The color gold comes into view and a laugh is heard. As the camera keeps zooming out, we get our first glimpse at the man's face. It is none other than the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase! The crowd loses their collective minds at the sight of DiBiase as he lets loose another of his trademark laughs. The cameraman follows Ted as he has just left EC3's office and walks down the hallway towards the locker room area. He stops by an unmarked door and knocks. Before it opens, he starts speaking to whomever is inside.
Ted DiBiase
Come on kid, it's showtime! You were right, EC3 is a tough nut to crack when it comes to handouts, but when you're the Million Dollar Man, there's no price too high to pay. So not only did I draft you up a beauty of a new contract, including a bonus to help pay off your medical bills incurred by your previous run here, but I was able to put a nice championship match clause in there too, just like you wanted.
At this point the door opens but no one walks out. DiBiase's smile disappears as he continues though.
Ted DiBiase
One problem. It's not for the International nor the Intercontinental. Your previous injury was the issue. I put enough zeroes to buy you the world, but until Ethan Carter III is convinced you're healthy enough to carry this brand on your back, you've gotta start small. But with me by your side, even a small business can rival a retail giant, understand? So once you sign that contract in EC3's office, you'll have a guaranteed one-on-one match with that joke of a wrestler, Owen Hart for his Hardcore title. I know I know, it's the dumpster fire of wrestling titles. The thing looks worse than ninety-nine percent of the fans that pack into these rat-infested arenas, BUT once that title is yours, we can fix it up. I'll toss some money around, buy a brand new title and christen it something perfect for a man of your stature. Now come on, we've got a contract to sign.
DiBiase gestures for the still off-camera man to follow him and he obliges. As he steps into the hallway, he stands there for a moment as the crowd pops again: It's Shinsuke Nakamura! Not seen since his match at Takeover Brooklyn, the crowd is excited to see the King of Strong Style return. The two start to walk towards Ethan Carter III's office as the feed starts to fade and NXT....
THUD!
The scene stops fading as Shinsuke is hit from behind and drops to the ground. The camera had been trailing Shinsuke so the assailant isn't seen. Ted DiBiase crouches next to his new client, checking on him to make sure he's ok.
Ted DiBiase
What is your problem? Can't you see that this man is under MY wing? He's worth more than you can ever imagine. When my lawyers get through with you...
DiBiase is silenced as the assailant plants his hand on his face and pushes him away and crouches into frame to admire his handiwork. As he does, we get our first look at the man and the weapon used. It's Owen Hart holding a slightly bloody Hardcore title. Owen is still in his ring gear from his match earlier in the night.
Owen Hart
Welcome.....to MY world.
As he says this Owen tosses his title into the back of Shinsuke's head before grabbing him by the hair and pulling him to his feet. Placing his other hand on Nakamura's back Owen then hurls Shinsuke into a nearby wall, over some equipment trunks. Shinsuke lands on top of the trunk in a heap, still trying to recover from the first blow. Owen stalks over towards Shinsuke and grabs another fistful of hair. Pulling his head up off the trunk, a small trickle of blood is seen on Shinsuke's face. Owen starts slamming Nakamura's head into the trunk.
THUD! THUD! THUD!
After the third time Owen pulls his head up to see the damage and we can see the beginning of a crimson mask. Owen releases the Nakamura's hair and grabs the trunk, pulling it away from the wall. Owen rolls Shinsuke onto his side before taking a small step back. Owen then jumps up and dropkicks Shinsuke so he falls off the trunk in between the wall and the trunk. Owen shrugs off his impact on the concrete and gets right back up to his feet. He lines up with the trunk and backs all the way to the wall opposite before taking a running stance. After a moment he runs full tilt into the trunk, shoulder first, crushing Shinsuke between the trunk and the wall. The damage to the King of Strong Style isn't seen, but his yell of pure pain is heard. This only brings a smile to Owens face as he tosses the trunk to the side as if its nothing. Shinsuke's face is now entirely covered in blood and Owen pulls him to his feet. Owen grabs Nakamura under his arms and hurls him overhead with a Release Belly to Belly Suplex! Nakamura hits the concrete with a THUD! and lies in a heap.
Owen gets to his feet and surveys his surroundings before seeing something that brings a sick smile to his face. He walks over to Shinsuke and pulls him to his feet. He then hoists the limp King of Strong Style onto his shoulders while walking him over to even more equipment trunks in the parking lot area, all stacked on top of each other. Owen climbs the pseudo-pyramid and is maybe 25 feet in the air when he places Shinsuke on his feet. He holds Nakamura's head up and stares into his face. Shinsuke responds for the first time by taking a swing at Owen, but misses completely. His efforts are met with a kick in the gut and Owen placing him in piledriver position. By now, a fleet of referees and medical personnel have arrived led by Ted DiBiase and are pleading with Owen to back off and let him go. Owen grins at their requests and hoists Shinsuke onto his shoulders for a powerbomb but holds him, still listening to the pleas of the refs down below. Owen chuckles and responds.
Owen Hart
Let him go? If you say so....
The refs breathe a sigh of relief at this, but Owen doesn't just put Shinsuke down. He lifts Shinsuke over his head and tosses him backwards....
...right off the pyramid onto the concrete 25 feet below. The impact can't be seen but the refs and medics full sprint around to the back to check on the destroyed Nakamura as DiBiase just looks at Owen in horror. Owen, now fully laughing slowly walks down the tower or trunks, all while staring at DiBiase, as he makes his way back towards his Hardcore title. As he grabs it with one hand, he notices Shinsuke's blood on his hand. Owen is still laughing to himself as he walks past DiBiase. He stops in front of the Million Dollar Man.
Owen Hart
Everybody has a price, Ted. Was Shinsuke's price worth more than MY cut?
Owen pats Ted's chest and starts to chuckle again as he walks by. Ted looks down and sees a bloody handprint on his suit which the camera zooms into and fades away on as NXT rolls on.
The titantron then comes to life as we see a pre-taped interview that was filmed earlier in the week. In the frame we see CM Punk.
Interviewer: So CM Punk, may I ask why you didn't want to participate in the Royal Rumble? I mean, you did but prior to the match you simply asked to be eliminated immediately. Why?
CM Punk: It's quite selfish of me, I understand. But when you're here wrestling day in, day out... the injuries take a toll on your body. I simply wanted to rest and to rest on such a big named Pay-Per-View is quite selfish. I'm glad it was just a Rumble match and I didn't get beat up so badly.
Interviewer: There were reports of you quitting the 'wrestling business' and leaving UWF for good. What do you have to say about these reports?
CM Punk: I didn't get your name. However, the past year has been quite a roller-coaster. I won the G1 Climax, I went to face Kevin Steen for the International Championship and I lost. I continued to be around the Main-Event picture but I was unable to finish the job. I'm not 'quitting' at all, I get that it seems like I'm quitting because I was unable to get the job done. The time will come, it was obvious last year wasn't that time for me. I just have to continue to push myself further, harder than ever to get that International Championship. As for those reports and rumors, I'm right here aren't I?
Interviewer: At the Royal Rumble, a man you defeated to win the G1 Climax managed to dethrone Kevin Steen from his amazing long run with the International Championship. Spike Dudley is our new Champion, what are your thoughts about Spike being the one to beat Kevin?
CM Punk: Kevin Steen is one hell of a competitor. We've been down each others throat but in reality, I've got nothing but respect for him. For him to carry NXT like that and defeat everyone in his path, it does hurt to say when nobody is on his level at all. Spike's win isn't to be taken away at all, Spike is one hell of a competitor as well. He pushed me to the limit and I was able to overcome him to win the G1 Climax. But Spike is holding something much better than winning a tournament and I do hope to face him down the track. Perhaps not now though. I do hope Spike is able to hold onto it until we meet again.
Interviewer: I'm surprised you're saying you respect Kevin Steen and Spike Dudley. It was only a few weeks ago that you absolutely despised them with everything you had. With you taking a step back is there anyone on your focus? Owen Hart has been attacking you lately...
CM Punk: You know, I'm not fond of interviews James, Tom, Brad... You still never told me your name.
Interviewer: It's Liam.
CM Punk: Thanks Liam. Yeah, about the respecting my opponents. 2016, all I did was spiral myself out of control. I erased a tattoo on me that was quite important to my lifestyle. I removed the 'Straight-Edge' tattoo on my stomach. Ever since, I've not felt myself. A huge part of me is missing, I'm getting the tattoo done back on me. Quite stupid of me to have it removed in the first place. In life, you make mistakes but you can mend them. I'm just simply mending every mistake I've made, I want to be a better person, I want to be a role model for NXT. I don't want to be against them, the lifestyle people live... it's their choice, they know the dangers. Yes, I despised people but in life... there's no room to despise everyone, it makes you a bitter, bitter man yourself. It's something I don't want to live with, I re-evaluated myself over the past few weeks. I went quiet, I didn't want to be around NXT, I just wanted to focus on myself. As for Owen Hart... he wants me to bring the 'fire' that's in me, he wants me to be dominant like I once was. He's asking for a lot, but it can be delivered. I've been in all sorts of matches, I've faced all sorts of competitor. Owen is no different, Owen is teaming up with Dolph Ziggler tonight whilst I partner up with Kurt Angle. Not only am I going to show him what I can bring out, but he's going to be sorry that I'm willing to bring the absolute best in me.
Liam: With WrestleMania around the corner, what are your intentions and goals for that?
CM Punk: Of course, to have a match. Last year, I did the unthinkable at WrestleMania. I teamed up with Seth Rollins to take on Joey Ryan and a mystery opponent. That being Finn Balor. From there, I created 'BulletProof'. A stable that was short-lived but reckless. Do I want to go back to that? Absolutely not. I want a Singles Match at WrestleMania, that would be something. But hey, I'm not the booker. I want to put on the absolute best, there is one wish I want at WrestleMania but will it be given? Most likely not. It's a simple stipulation match, that's my intention to try get that. Who knows, I could be in a title match, I could be facing someone non-title. Either one, it doesn't phase me so much. I just want to be wrestling on the Grandest Stage of them All, even if Owen Hart is my opponent. He's going to have to try kill me. I've already broken so much of me, there isn't much left to break. I'll deal with Owen Hart first, then we'll go from there Liam. I've got to prepare for my match tonight pal so I'm going to leave it here.
Those opening strains of the Queens of the Stone Age's "Smooth Sailing" sound out over the arena soundsystem and the fans go crazy, the vast majority of them booing but a small portion cheering over the performance the UWF's Show Off put in and the heart he showed at the Royal Rumble. Ziggler walks out from the back unaccustomed to hearing such adoration, but it doesn't faze him as he simply keeps on walking down the ramp, foregoing his usual theatrics and heading straight down the ramp.
Tony Chimel: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Hollywood Florida, Dolph Ziggler!
Ziggler walks down the ramp with purpose, moves to the ring steps and climbs them, then enters the ring -- all without a hint of performance -- He stands tall in the ring and calmly waits for his partner.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!
As the opening lines to the theme song of Owen Hart play, the crowd rains boos on the current Hardcore Champion. Wasting no time Owen appears from behind the curtain as the guitar starts going straight towards the ring, belt being dragged along the ground in one hand and a smile on his face.
Tony Chimel: And his partner, from Calgary Alberta Canada, he is the Hardcore Champion, Owen Hart!
He ascends the stairs and ducks straight into the ring before locking his eyes on Dolph Ziggler. They both give each other a look as they wait for their opponents.
YOU'VE GOT HELL TO PAY BUT YOU ALREADY SOLD YOUR SOUL
IT'S BLASPHEMY!
'Blasphemy by Bring Me The Horizon' begin blasting out, it's a brand new theme song for CM Punk. CM Punk emerges from behind the curtain wearing a hoodie and it doesn't take him long to head to the ring.
Tony Chimel: And their opponents, first from Chicago Illinois, CM Punk!
Punk walks to the bottom of the ramp and waits for his partner before entering the ring.
Kurt Angles theme blares out the PA System and the fans all stand on their feet. The fans cheer at the top of their lungs for their beloved gold medal winner as he steps out from the back. The roof blows off the building as the Olympic Hero makes his way down the ramp, stopping for his signature pyro at the top of the ramp.
Tony Chimel: And his partner, from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Kurt Angle!
Angle heads down the ramp and stops at the bottom with punk. The two look at each other and exchange glances before heading into the ring. They go to their corner and talk about who's going to start off the match. Angle is adamant but Punk holds the ropes open and tells angle to get onto the apron. Kurt finally listens and exits the ring in the ref calls for the bell.
DING DING DING
Punk and angle are still arguing but they get interrupted when Ziggler comes running over and hits punk with the stinger splash in the corner. Punk is slightly dazed but Ziggler takes advantage by pulling him out of the corner and hitting a quick swinging neckbreaker! Instead of going for cover he simply mounts punk and starts unleashing a barrage of fist, striking him in the face over and over.
Tom Phillips: Dolph Ziggler looking to take advantage of the distraction.
Corey Graves: Let's not forget, CM Punk took his spot in the Fatal Four Way match for the International Championship by hitting him in the back of the head with a lead pipe. You can be sure there's still some animosity there.
Punk manages to roll to the ropes to get free but Ziggler is hot on his trail. Dolph tries to get to him but the ref backs him up. Owen on the other hand jumps down from the apron and heads over to the side of the ring were Punk is. Punk doesn't see Owen coming over and gets blindsided with a forearm to the face. Angle now drops down to confront Owen but Owen just waves him off and heads back to his corner. Now that punk is out of the ropes, crawling back to the center of the ring, Ziggler runs up and hits the Famouser! Now turning him over to go for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
And Punk kicks out! Ziggler right away picks him back up and drags him over to his corner to tag in Hart. He opens up Punk's midsection for Owen to kick him in his ribs. Owen then takes him down with a quick suplex. He stands back up and yells at Punk saying "Is that all you got Mr. Best in the World!". Punk is trying to crawl over to Angle but Owen stomps on his ankle and stands on top of it, not letting him get anywhere. He then walks around to face Punk and drops to the mat, looking him square in the face and yelling more. Punk ends up slapping him in the face to an applause break from the crowd but Owen just gets pissed and stands him back up, hitting him with forearms until he's in the ropes. He shoots Punk off but Punk comes back with a leg lariat to take him off his feet. Punk tries to crawl over to tag in Angle but Owen sees this and grabs Punk's foot, trying to drag him away. Punk gets up hopping on one foot, just a couple of inches away from tagging in a reaching out Angle and so he rolls forward, sending Owen towards Angle to get hit with a forearm to the face. This staggers Hart and gives Punk enough time to make the tag.
Tom Phillips: And here comes Kurt Angle!
Corey Graves: It's about time he does something in this match.
Angle comes in and takes down Owen with a clothesline. The Hardcore Champion pops back to his feet only to get taken down by another clothesline. Frustrated, he gets up right away and swings wildly at Angle but the Olympic Gold Medalist ducks under it and takes his back, german suplexing him to the mat. He keeps ahold of the waist and rolls over, getting back to his feet to hit another german let me know if you see this suplex. He goes for the third one but Owen is close enough to the ropes to grab onto them. Kurt tries lifting him but it doesn't work. Ziggler tags himself into the match and goes behind Angle but Kurt notices and elbows him in the back of the head. He turns to face him but Owen hits him with a superkick to the back of the head! Angle falls face first and Ziggler jumps up high, hitting an elbow drop to the back of the head as well before turning him over for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
And Angle kicks out! Dolph picks him back up and brings him over to his corner. Owen sticks his boot over the top rope and Ziggler smashes Angle's face into it. He turns him around and Owen grabs his arms, not letting him get away. Ziggler walks over to the other side of the ring and gives Punk a look before running back over and hitting a stinger splash on Angle. This time he steps up to the middle rope and starts throwing down punches on him, some people in the crowd counting along until Ziggler just starts unleashing with a rapid barrage too fast to count. Angle comes stumbling out of the corner into a picture perfect dropkick.
The crowd is booing Dolph heavily but he doesn't pay them any attention. Angle goes to the ropes and uses them to help get up but Ziggler is stalking him from behind. Dolph runs forward for the Zig Zag but Angle holds noto the ropes as Ziggler goes falling backwards. He quickly rolls back to his feet and charges at Angle but Kurt goes low and tosses Ziggler over the ropes. Dolph lands on the apron and throws a forearm but Angle blocks it and instead wraps his arms around Dolph's body, throwing him back into the ring with an overhead belly to belly suplex!
Corey Graves: If Angle was smart, he would have knocked Ziggler on his ass to give him some time to recuperate but instead he tossed him closer to his partner.
Tom Phillips: By the way, Ziggler and Hart have been surprisingly working well this whole match together. What do you make of that Graves?
Corey Graves: They're both pissed off and have put their egos aside to unleash that anger. Punk and Angle meanwhile think they deserve everything, it's no wonder why they're being decimated.
Both men are down but slowly move to their respective corners. Ziggler gets the tag first and Owen starts to come in but Angle tags in Punk who springboards into the ring, taking down Owen with a clothesline! Owen gets back up but gets cut off with a spinning back kick to the gut. Punk follows up with a kick to shoulder to pop him back up and then hits him with a straight kick to the head that sends him down to the mat. Punk then turns him over and hooks the leg for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
But Owen gets the shoulder up! Punk uses the arm that lifted to turn him over onto his stomach and starts to throw muy thai knees to the top of Hart's head. Owen is able to fight through and plop up to his knee where he headbutts Punk right square in the face. The Best in the World grabs at his face but for a person as crazy as Owen, a little head trauma doesn't feel like much. He gets to his feet and brings Punk along with him, hitting him with a bridging northern lights suplex for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
And Punk kicks out! Owen says he's had enough of this and brings Punk up once again, this time turning him upside down for a reverse piledriver. Punk starts kicking his feet, trying to fight out of it but it's Angle who helps out by attacking Owen from behind. Ziggler comes in and clotheslines Angle to the outside. Ziggler turns around and ends up on the shoulders of CM Punk who hits him with the GTS! Ziggler falls all the way out of the ring but Punk turns around and eats an enziguri to the head. Owen rolls him over and goes for the cover.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Another kickout by Punk!
Tom Phillips: CM Punk will not stay down!
Corey Graves: Owen wanted the fight out of him and he's bringing it tonight but playing into the hand of Owen Hart is not a smart thing to do.
Owen starts laughing and rolls out of the ring. The crowd isn't sure what he's doing but the Hardcore Champion lives up to his name by going under the ring and pull out a steel chair. He tosses it into the ring and then grabs another before sliding in. The ref tells him no and that's he'll be disqualified but he doesn't listen. He waits as Punk gets up and smashes him right across the head!
Tony Chimel: Here is your winner as a result of a disqualification, CM Punk and Kurt Angle!
Angle tires to enter the ring but Ziggler grabs him by the ankle and drags him back out, hitting him with a superkick! Owen then takes the extra chair he had and slides it out to Dolph. Dolph picks up the chair and thinks about it before smashing it across the back of Kurt Angle. Owen does the same to Punk and the two partners end up going to town on their respective opponents. Ziggler finally stops and heads straight to the back while Owen goes out and gets his title. He goes back into the ring and raises it high in the air and smiles over Punk's beaten down body as the scene fades out.
[The Scene opens where Jimmy Uso is talking to his Wife Naomi in the back while Cathy Kelley stops him]
Cathy: Excuse me Jimmy. but can I get a quick moment of your time before NXT this Wednesday.
Jimmy: Yea of course Cathy.
Kelley: last Sunday at the Rumble PPV you was this close to winning this years Rumble match until the Showoff Dolph Ziggler came up in eliminated you from the Royal Rumble match in now they made the Intercontinental Champion Booby Roode to win the Rumble match this years on UWF So any Suggestions Jimmy.
Jimmy: Well u see Cathy. the reason that I lost the Rumble match is because they wanted to push Bobby Roode more instead of me cause I was the last Rumble entry until they let Bobby win the whole freaking thing in the Rumble match but I hope to God that EC3 can make Bobby Roode to defend his Intercontinental title next week on NXT against me in a Falls Count anywhere match on NXT next Wednesday on UWF network.
Cathy: Jimmy can u even find Booby Roode this Wednesday.
Jimmy: Hell yea I'm gonna search for his Glorious ass this week on NXT cause I don't care who he's with as long as I get my Rumble rematch from Bobby Roode for his Intercontinental title next week on NXT if that's alright with the GM EC3 could let me challenge Bobby Roode for his Intercontinental Championship in a Steel Cage match on NXT next Wednesday on UWF Live.
Cause we're the OOOHH!
Crowd: SOS!
(Jimmy walks away when Cathy Kelley Continues talking)
Cathy: there u have it folks cause in three days Jimmy Uso will be in the Building this week on NXT on UWF.
Kelley: So we hope that Jimmy Uso can grant his wish for an Opportunity for Bobby Roode's Intercontinental Champion next week on NXT on UWF network.
[Camera Scene fades when Jimmy goes in search for the I.C Champion Booby Roode when they head back to Corey Graves n Tom Philips back on Commentary before the next event on NXT]
The live feed cuts to the ring where EC3 is standing by in the ring with numerous decorations for Bobby Roode's celebration.
EC3:Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you the man who outlasted 29 other men and did what only 5 other men in the history of UWF have ever accomplished. He is the reigning Intercontinental Champion and the Royal Rumble winner, Bobby Roode!
GLORIOUS
NO I WON'T GIVE IN
I WON'T GIVE IN
'TIL I'M VICTORIOUS
AND I WILL DEFEND
I WILL DEFEND!
As the lights go out, we hear the piano, then the lyrics of Glorious Domination. Lights are only on Bobby Roode as he poses with his arms opened to both sides. Then Roode turns with a huge smile on his face. He walks down the ramp as he shows off and laughs at the fans. He gets on the steps, then the apron where he looks at the fans. Roode then gets in the ring and poses down as the lights are once again only on him. Roode seems pretty happy, with a big grin on his face. Roode gets the mic.
I don't know why some people hate to say this, but I absolutely love it... I'VE TOLD YOU SOOOOO!
Roode laughs as fans boo him.
I have told you people, I have told guys in the back that I will walk in the arena as the Intercontinental Champion and I will walk out as both Intercontinental Champion and the Royal Rumble winner. I gave you the spoilers, I gave the warning to those in the back but once again nobody has listened to me! I don't know why. You don't trust me? Well, I hope you do trust me now because once again I have delivered my word and did what I said I was going to do! Before, I told you that I'd beat Hogan, Goldberg this and that... You didn't listen but I proved that I was right. I have said that I'd beat Kurt Angle and become the Intercontinental Champion. Kurt didn't listen because he is a stubborn hero. But I am no Abbas Jadidi, I am Bobby Roode! I have taken this title away from him and made it mine! Just like I made the Royal Rumble match and main event of Wrestlemania mine!
From day one I have said two things. First, I said I was going to tear this place apart as I'd get glory after glory and second... I said that I was a truth teller. Both have turned out to be true. Didn't it? It's like 6 months since I am here in UWF and I have beaten all that 29 other men -favourites, veterans, surprise entrants- to become the last man standing in that match! The legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin... The very first UWF Intercontinental Champion Juventud Guerrero, Eric Young, Roman Reigns, Rhino, Kenny Omega... Even Cody Rhodes was there! There were lots of favourites to win this year. Lots of favourites but me... You didn't give me the chance. But I don't need anyone to give me anything because I create my own chance! I said that I don't need to last the longest, I don't need to eliminate every other man from the match. I just had to be never eliminated. Actually...
Roode laughs as he remembers the ending of the match.
Poor Dolph... Once again he comes up short. He was so close once again. So close! So close that he almost won the Royal Rumble! He outlasted for most of the match. Actually he was the one who lasted the most. Also he was the one who got the most eliminations. He showed such a great performance and no once expect less with his talent and heart. But did he get the job done? Does eliminating 9-10 people give him the win? Entering at number 4 and lasting till the very end did him what? A good performance is not being successfull. He is no winner. I eliminated only two men and I also did not last much but as I said before, one way or another I was going to win that match and I won! No matter what you people say, no matter what anybodys says, it does not matter. You are worthless. Those officials were the ones who were responsible for the match and they didn't see it! You think Kurt Angle really eliminated me? No. I let him eliminate me. Because I had a plan. I followed that plan and I won. By the way Kenny Omega, you said that being clever was enough to win the Rumble and here I am, proving just that. I have won, fair and square. So quit bitching, moaning and crying. Just join the parade, just join the bandwagon and enjoy the glory. With this, you can be happy and successfull once in your life, thanks to me!
Fans once again booes Bobby Roode whose ego is way too much.
Or you can boo. Continue to hate as I beat your favourites one by one. Dolph Ziggler and Kurt Angle were in the final two and you all were so happy! Either your American Hero or your golden boy Dolph Ziggler would finally win right? This ring is no fairytale. Happy endings do not happen. I am the villain of this story and every single time I win! I beat myths, I beat legends, I beat underdogs, I beat any creature that come in my way! The protagonist is no hero in this story. So don't expect any heroism anymore. Because I am telling you and you better believe this time; I am going to destroy your heroes once again. And on the grandest stage of them all... That is going to happen. Bobby Roode, standing tall over his opponent as once again spotlights are only on him!
Roode lowers his mic as crowd boos Bobby Roode. Roode laughs at them.
EC3: Well as the person who brought you in to NXT, I'd like to say congratulations Bobby. I've never doubted you. That's why I've looked towards you for specific tasks in the past and it;'s why I've given you the opportunities you deserve. I can say that without a shadow of a doubt, Bobby Roode vs Spike Dudley at Wrestlemania will make for a hell of a main event! RAW/Warzone has admitted it before but NXT's showing at the Royal Rumble really proved just how far and away we are the better brand. With you at the helm, NXT will rise to new heights!
EC3 looks as proud as ever as he looks at the Intercontinental Champion. Bobby Roode however just stares at him before lifting his mic.
Who said I was going to face the International Champion at Wrestlemania?
The crowd lets out an "OHHH" as EC3 looks shocked to hear Roode say that. Before anything else can be said, they get interrupted by a voice heard around the arena.
???: Oh, is that so Bobby?
The fans look around, most of the fans clock on that looking at the stage is a good idea as Spike Dudley makes his way from the back with a mic in hand and the International Title in the other. He looks towards the ring as the crowd give him a warm welcome. He continues his walk down the ramp as he continues talking.
Spike: You want to play that game do you Bobby? The will I, won't I, which champion am I going after. Oh what a fun game to play. Ethan, just relax, don't worry about this mate, I got this.
Spike has reached the bottom of the ramp as EC3 doesn't exactly look like his relaxed as Spike suggested. Spike slides into the ring and comes face to face with Roode. He pauses for a second before he lifts the International Title up in the air, rubbing it in the face of Roode with a massive smile on his face.
He lowers the title as Roode doesn't look impressed but Spike brushes this off and speaks.
Spike: So you are the guy that stole my spotlight at the Royal Rumble? Hey man, I'm not the jealous type but I was a little bummed out that I wasn't the sole talk of the town after Royal Rumble night, I mean after all, I did put an end to Kevin Steen's record breaking run but hey, what you did man was special. You outlasted 29 other men, not just any men but legends, future legends, youngsters, oldsters, special guests, everyone went into the Royal Rumble all wanting to be the one thing you are standing in front of me calling yourself today, The Royal Rumble Winner. I've been on quite a roll lately of giving people compliments, why end now. I want to congratulate you on your Royal Rumble win, I might not agree with how you managed to do it and I certainly would have preferred Dolph Ziggler being the rightful winner but it's you!!
The crowd boo Roode as he has a smirk on his face. Spike shrugs his shoulders looking at Roode as he continues.
Spike: Now that's not the only reason I've come back out here tonight, you see at the Royal Rumble, I won the position of being the face and voice of this brand. I won the position of being Ethan's go to guy whether he likes it or not, I have a pretty good idea he doesn't care who it is as long as it's not Kevin Steen. With this title comes responsibilities of trying to do what's best for this brand and that is why I find myself standing in front of you Bobby. You might not quite tickle my fancy for being a great guy, someone who I would love to sit back and have a beer with but I've been around this business long enough to know when someone has what it takes to be World Class. I can see it in people, I can sniff out talent a mile away and I'm not just talking about your expensive cologne that smells like Garbage wrapped in old gym socks.
Robert doesn't look impressed as he smells himself, shaking his head at Spike as the crowd get a little giggle out of this.
Spike: You my friend have what it takes, you are a talent that quite possibly one day will be a man that is untouchable. Ethan signed you too this brand because he knew what you could become. Ever since you won that Intercontinental Championship, you have been a machine but that Royal Rumble win isn't the final destination Robert. This main event you have at Wrestlemania, that is the final destination and you look like the kind of guy that wants to be the best on the best brand and be in the best match of the night. Well Bobby, I'm out here to tell you that NXT is that brand and I'm the guy to give you the best match up of the night. If you need any evidence of that statement, just look at who the final three were in the Royal Rumble. You, Dolph and Angle, 3 of the best on NXT, OF the best is the key word there because right now, I AM THE BEST. I didn't see anyone from Warzone there, no just NXT guys so Bobby, listen to me when I say this, these fans might not like you but NXT is the place for you to be. NXT is the place for you to stay and at Wrestlemania, if you want to go after the Universal Champion, be my guest, I won't stop you but I certainly will lose all my respect for you, these fans will lose all their respect for you and you will just prove that you wanted to get that big win the easy way. You know the right match at Wrestlemania is Robert Roode vs. Spike Dudley!! So how about it Bobby, what do you say we put on one Glorious show?
Spike lowers the mic, looking Bobby dead in the eyes as he has a questioned look on his face. He points at the title before pointing at Roode, he follows this up be pointing back and fourth between the two and then finally up at the Wrestlemania sign. Both men look at the sign, thinking things through when suddenly...............
The two-tone riff screeches through the PA, effectively dismantling the moment. Every fan in attendance turns their attention to the ramp and starts to boo while two words appear on the massive titantron:
THE UNION
Beneath the message, a man walks out on to the ramp. It's Kevin Steen, and for the first time in roughly ten months, the UWF International Championship is not in his hands. There's a calm furious about him, but its instantly obvious that he's a man of the verge of snapping. Everything about his expression warns danger.
"Mr. Wrestling" stops at the head of the ramp. There's a microphone in his hand already, and as his song cuts out, he raises it to address the men standing in the ring.
Steen: What the hell is this supposed to be? Huh? I've heard a lot a talk about what's great and what's glorious, about that title and the main event of Wrestlemania... but I haven't heard my name in that mix.
What? You think you're just walking away from this? From me? Are you serious?
Kevin's face starts to turn an angry red...
That ring the three of jackasses are standing in... this crowd that paid to be here that's listening to you talk... the TV time your exploiting... the importance of that championship belt and the fact it's going to Wrestlemania at all...
It's all because of. I am NXT. I built this house, and I'll tear it down before I let any of you shut me out of it. You're all talking like you own this place, but all you're really doing is enjoying the privilege of my hard work.
Ethan, I know you're scared stiff of me and that's probably why you've been avoiding me. Yeah, it's been a real cute act, buddy. You stacked the deck against me, but me through an unprecedented hell and in the end it still too a crooked ref to help the entire Dudley family put me down. Was that your best shot? Cause I'm still here. You're running out of places to run and hide from me. It won't be long before The Union has power you can't ignore. Your days are numbered, that's for damn sure.
A pessimist might say I'm just blowing wind here, but there's one thing nobody can deny, and that's my right to a rematch - like the one I gave Roman Reigns... and freakin' unlike how I was denied one last time a title was stolen from me. I don't expect you to give me the same special treatment as Roman or half the other guys I had to defend against. You're not gonna let me pick the stipulation, tilt this any more in my favour that in it already is, eh?
No, cause you finally think you've got what you want. Fortunately for NXT, I'm not gonna give you much time to realize how doomed this show with Spike Dudley on top because I don't plan on waiting very long to take my belt back -
Kevin is about to continue, when Robert Roode catches his eye. He interrupts his own train of thought to address him.
Roode, I see you staring sideways at me again and I'm gonna come down there and rip your fuzzy little head off. I'd be more impressed that you cheated your way into a win at the Royal Rumble if I hadn't already kicked your ass in a championship match. Why don't you try and pretend you're a real champion and defend the silver medal title of yours against a real contender while the grown-ups finish talking?
Steen directs his attention back to the other two.
As I was saying... I've never lost twice in a row. One-on-one, nobody's ever beat me twice. In three years... it's never happened. Most people are calling it a fluke. I know it highway robbery. However you wanna define the way you ended up with MY title Spike, the tragic reality is that you're on borrowed time. You've got a bad history of choking when it really matters. I've got a history of crippling the guys that really piss me off. You do the math.
Spike Dudley against Bobby Roode is about the worst possible main event NXT could offer for Wrestlemania. The man with the belt that everybody knows isn't the true champion of NXT fighting the coward mid-level champ who's already proven he doesn't have what it takes to win the big belt. No. I won't let it happen. Not on my show.
Once again, with the crowd booing and the boss man trying to stop me, I'm going to step in and save NXT. I'm gonna take that title back. I'm going to decimate Spike Dudley and when Bobby Roode sees what I'm capable of at my most dangerous, he's gonna run to Warzone even faster than any of the other pricks I chased off outta here. I'm going into Wrestlemania as a five-time world champion, and it'll be the first step towards me breaking all my own records. That's what I do. I just keep getting better, and that's why that championship belongs to me.
NXT deserves better than Ethan Carter, Bobby Roode and Spike Dudley... it deserves me. I'm the only reason this place exists. It's my effort, my hard work, and my talent that has made this the best wrestling show on the planet. I run this place.
And I want my title back.
Steen throws his microphone aside, the crowd screaming all kinds of hate at him as he finishes.
Man... How "rude" this is... Before I talk about my glory and victory in the Royal Rumble, these guys interrupt me! And you ask me why I may leave this place for Warzone... Now we have the Intern- Internati- Internati... [Roode can't talk as he laughs] I am sorry. This is just... Weird. Just like Spike Dudley. I mean... Kevin... The invincible champion, the dragon that beats everyone lost his title to this little creature over there? This little insect ended your reign? [Roode looks at Kevin Steen and he laughs loudly] There is no doubt why you are so bitter... I knew that you weren't on my level when I put you throught the table a few weeks ago, but I didn't think that you were this... This... [Roode laughs once again] Sorry, being a bit rude is in my blood, can understand it from my name. And now, since you have no title anymore, you are the least important person right now. So I will address you first, the man who run NXT wild, who descimated anyone on his way for months... And then lost to Spike Dud-
Roode laughs again loudly. Crowd respond with mixed reaction.
Okay, sorry. Unlike you, I am in a great mood Kevin. Now, you were the top guy for months. You defended your title successfully against everyone! And even against me in that four way match. But a few weeks before that, we faced in a tables match, remember that? I told you that when I beat you, I would expose the man that you really are and I did that. I told you that I would take your title, if that doesn't happen -because of that stupid four way match- I told you that you would lose your title very soon because all the confidence shields, all the walls you have built around you was destroyed as I put your fat body through that table! And you didn't listen to me, just like those people didn't listen to me. But look at Kevin Steen now. Is he a champion, let alone being the THE champion... He is not! Because he lost his title against the weakest challenger he has faced! And now, his reign ends... Kevin, as you said, you were the NXT. But the difference between you and me is that, I will not be NXT and it has two reasons. One, maybe I'll leave this pathetic place and let it rot as Warzone rises to the top! And two... if I stay, I will not be NXT, NXT will be me! Because I am greater than this brand itself! I am greater than entire roster, the past of NXT! You get that? You carried this place on your back but I am nobodies man. I don't do work for anybody. I don't carry anybody on my back. I only lead myself to glory. And as I rise, NXT may rise... If I stay, which has... Pretty low chance... Kevin, you were the man around here but those days are over. You are not the man anymore. I know it will take time to get used to that. But if you try to come up to the top again, I will push you down and believe me it will hurt much more than being put through a table! So, if you want to have a conversation with me once again, get in the line because there are a lot of guys that wants to get a piece of this Intercontinental Champion and 2017 Royal Rumble winner. You had your day, get in behind, or do what you couldn't do back in the Royal Rumble... Beat Spike Dudley!
Roode smirks and crowd reacts with mixed reaction once again.
Ladies and gentlemen... E C 3! The man who... Who didn't give me what I deserve from the moment I step foot in NXT! The man who looked over me as he had no belief in me! You think I am going to believe all that crap that has come out of your mouth?! You gave me opportunity? What opportunity? I faced likes of Charles Robinson and Little Naitch in my first days in NXT, just because you thought I was not ready! I faced likes of Goldberg and Hulk Hogan, who are the oldest living beings in the world today! You told that winner of Hogan/Roode would get a title shot and where is it? Bray Wyatt granted me the Intercontinental Title shot while you were away, doing vacation! I deserved my place in that International Title match after I put Kevin Steen through a table! But what in the earth did happen? A four way match! Just like that four way contender match that included Jeff Jarrett, Owen Hart and Broken Matt! Broken Matt... The guy who left NXT for Warzone! The man that was sick and tired of your injustice! He may be broken but he was wise about leaving this dumpster! Now I wonder... Should I do the same? Should I turn you the favor and give what you had given to me for all those months? And that is nothing Ethan. You have given me nothing! Silver platter aside, I didn't even get what I deserved! What I got has nothing to do with you! Not this Intercontinental Title, not the Royal Rumble victory... In fact, I am suprised that you don't give Angle or Ziggler another chance!
Roode hesitates as he acts like he knows something.
But I know the reason. I know why you suck up to me. I know why you don't bring that to the table. I know why you want to keep me here on NXT that much. Everybody knows that I am the greatest of all time. [Crowd booes that] Oh yeah. Like it or not, there is nobody past or future that is better than me! Nobody has risen as fast as me! Not even the legendary Kevin Steen! There is end in every legend and I am that end. Just like Hulk Hogan. Just like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Juventud Guerrero... I end their reigns, I end their hopes! But all that aside, there is another reason that you want me sooo desperately! After all I had done, I made you believe how great I am. But that is not the only reason, is it? You look at your brand, ascending... Better than Warzone! Shows, stars... The competition... Royal Rumble match proved that! But now you look at the face of your brand and you see... This...
Roode shows Spike Dudley.
Spike Dudley... You see Spike Dudley as your International Champion, which means that he is the face and voice of this brand, he is right about that. But you know that it is no good business. You know that means disaster for NXT. All you have built for months would collapse if this insect walks in the Wrestlemania as champ... And leaving Wrestlemania as champion? It is... I feel for you now Ethan. I understand you. But will I help you? I don't know. There is Kevin Steen who wants "his" title back but you are in doubt. He has beaten everyone but not Spike Dudley. Spike has his number... And Spike... Spike can beat him once again and that is in your mind. You are afraid of that. So you want to solidify your plan. And you know that there is only one man left, if Kevin Steen is not capable of something. That man... Is... ME! You want me to stay here, face Spike for International Title and secure this brand's future. Good plan. Everything is in it's place but... But not me! If you take "The It Factor" out of your plan, what do you have? Let me tell you wait you have if you don't have me... You will have this... Once again...
Again Roode points at Spike Dudley. Roode laughs.
And now... Spike Dudley... The new champion! Congratulations! Have fun with your time with that title because there is a really angry, frustrated man there who wants his title back. But with your heart and soul and... little body you can do it for the second time! You can do what no one has done! But if you do that, you are going to do that just to get knocked down little man. Because I already have my place on Wrestlemania card! I am in the main event! That's the prize I get for outlasting all 29 other men! Just in case I tell this to you guys because since you haven't done that before in your career, I thought that it may be a little trivia for you. I don't know what Ethan thinks but... I think you are going to have a little detour because of that man over there... Actually... I don't give a damn about any of this because I am ahead of all of you! Much ahead! I don't give a damn what happens, I don't give a damn who is the champion... Because I... I may be out of here, leading Warzone in the ratings, making them the number one show again! Because they know that name change is not enough, they need to change the face and who has a better face than me? Certainly not you Spike... So... Ethan... Kev... Spike... I'll leave so that "grown-ups" can talk. Because I, the Intercontinental Champion, the 2017 Royal Rumble Winner had enough of this bullshit! Tell me when any of you turn that corner before Wrestlemania, because I will be waiting you there... If... I stay here... If I don't... The one who gets the International Title will be the champion of a brand which will die in the absence of "The Glorious" Bobby Roode!
Roode drops the mic and he gets out. Fans boo Roode as he walks up the ramp. He stops at the entrance stage. He looks at the ring and he leaves there. The 3 men look on in the ring and EC3 fixes his tie and pulls out his phone, making a quick text before lifting the mic to speak again.
EC3: Well this isn't exactly how I had the Rumble celebration planned but when has NXT ever gone to plan and when have I never fixed things? Like you two. Steen is granted a rematch and you're right Kevin, I'm not going to let you have a stipulation. You want to know why? Because you're an asshole. I wanted Roman gone and you did that for me. I'll admit, you get on my nerves but I've never been trying to get the title off of you. I've been giving you challenges to prove just how dominant you were. Aside from Jimmy Uso, I didn't hold your hand and give you easy opponents because then your reign would be meaningless.
I never expected Spike to become International Champion the day he walked in my office and demanded to be given a match. I just laughed at him and fed him to you because that's what I did a lot Kevin, I let you take care of problems. The only thing is, he beat you. Not only you, he beat Daniel Bryan. I expected him to win the G1 but that didn't happen. It's taken him a long time but he's finally champion and now, wel... now he represent NXT.
The crowd pops loudly as Spike gets a big smile on his face.
EC3: He's a product of the NXT dream that anyone can be champion if they work hard enough here. The problem with that is, I don't think you make a good champion Spike. Like I said though, when don't I make things work. So at the next NXT Pay Per View on March 5th, It'll be Spike Dudley vs Kevin Steen for the International Championship. No stipulations, just another pure match. Let's see if you can back up what you say Kevin.
EC3 drops the mic and immediately pulls out his phone to text away, leaving the ring. Steen and Spike stare at one another, Spike lifting the title high in the air as the two face off and the scene fades to black.
