Pyro goes off all throughout the arena and the camera zooms around, showing numerous fans all showing their support for the return of NXT, We then go ringside where Corey Graves and Tom Phillips are standing by.
Tom Phillips: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to NXT! I'm Tom Phillips and with me is my broadcast partner, former International Champion, Corey Graves.
Corey Graves: Wrestlemania is right around the corner and you can feel it in the air as we've got a big NXT planned for tonight.
Tom Phillips: That's right we've got a champion vs champion match in our main event when Spike Dudley faces Jimmy Uso.
Corey Graves: Ugh it's like Alien vs Predator, whoever wins, we lose. What I'm more excited about is Kevin Steen vs Baron Corbin. Two heavy hitters on a collision course.
Tom Phillips: We've also got enemies teaming up, the Young Bucks vs the Wyatt Family and the debut of Chris Jericho! Speaking of, let's take it down to Renee Young with Steve Blackman.
We see Reene Young on set of the NXT logo, ready to speaks to someone.
Renee: Welcome to this latest edition of NXT, I am here to talk with the Money In The Bank contender who is facing Jericho tonight. An---
Walks in Blackman in the same broken LED he stole from Jericho's bag, he wears it as he come onto the set interrupting her.
Blackman: You see Renee, I am the rockstar that people forgot about after about a ten year hiatus. I am a god among men who enter this ring, you know you need to do for me?
Renee: What is it?
Blackman reaches his arms out, signaling her to do the same pose as him. Then he places his arms down, and speaks after she done on the pose.
Renee: What that all about?
Blackman: You See, you see these broken LED coat I am rocking right now, or that pose you just did? Also, I don't have my list of IDGAF on me right now, but do you get this "irony" of it all?
Renee: What does this have to do with anything?
Blackman: It has nothing to do with anything, but honestly, it's more of plea of how much Jericho is a worthless piece of trash, that at one point, he was worthless to start. I can't even explain how I feel about that guy.
Renee: Do you honestly think you will beat him?
Blackman: Maybe or maybe not, he seems like a guy who expect the light to shine on him. I mean, look at this coat i've broken from him, he needs that light show in order to prove how much he draws at night than in the daytime. In daytime, he just a boring old man who list people's name on a piece of paper hoping to get a reaction.
Renee: How did you felt about being on his list? Sad, mad...
Blackman: Well he's going to need more names on it once I beat him, I am going to see him and about five other males in the Money in the bank. So in short, Jericho, you will end up on a list of broken and bruised men who go in my way. Your time is up, theres nobody going to Save You from your fate against me, I hope you....
Then he does the exact pose once more, and look into the camera.
Blackman: Drink it in maaaaaannnn....drink in the essence of a man who will show you the light of death...just drink it all in!
Blackman walks off the set, and straight to Gorilla for his upcoming match.
Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for on fall! Introducing first, from Annville Pennsylvania, weighing in at 246 pounds, Steve Blackman!
Once the drum loop kicks, we see Blackman walking down to the ring in a LED coat ala Jericho, then he steps to the ring ring steps and looks at the crowd like if he owes them money, then he gets into he ring and poses in the ring while the lights are barely flashing. Then he takes off the jacket and slams it on the mat, and as soon his theme cuts off he stomps on it until he was finished to mixed jeers.
Tony Chimel: And his opponent from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, weighing in at 227 pounds, Chris Jericho!
Chris Jericho's pyro goes off as the self-proclaimed best in the world heads down the ramp towards the ring. He enters and the ref checks both men before calling for the bell.
DING DING!
The ring bell sounds as Blackman immediately goes on the offensive with a hard right. Jericho's head rocks with the impact as the blow connects before firing back with a hard right of his own, which Blackman blocks with his left wrist before connecting with a palm thrust to the chest. Jericho takes a few steps back as a result of this before going for a right chop across the chest but Blackman grabs his wrist and twists it, forcing Jericho to a knee. Blackman releases his wrist soon after he's brought to a knee and connects with a swift kick to the chest, putting Jericho on his back. He goes for an elbow drop to follow up but Jericho rolls out of the way and Blackman connects with nothing but mat. Jericho creates some distance between himself and his opponent as Blackman gets back to his feet and then goes for an elbow strike but Blackman blocks it and shoves Jericho backward, going for a bicycle kick but Jericho sidesteps it and delivers a kick, the toe of his boot connecting with the back of Blackman's right knee. As Blackman's right foot returns to the mat, his knee buckles as he goes down to a seated position and rubs the back of his right knee as Jericho goes for a kick to the chest but Blackman lays flat on his back to avoid it, then sits back up and delivers a headbutt to Jericho's groin. As Jericho hunches over in pain, Blackman goes for a roll-up.
ONE!

NO!
Jericho kicks out which doesn't make Blackman too happy as he dives on Chris, grabbing the back of his head with his left hand to pull him in and hitting him in the nose with repeated elbow strikes using his right arm. Chris soon finds himself busted open as Blackman pulls him to a vertical base but as he does, Chris breathes out hard through his nose as blood goes flying into Blackman's eyes, blinding him. Jericho connects with a clothesline taking Blackman down and then runs into the ropes quickly, leaping up and springing backward off the middle one as he connects with a beautiful Lionsault. Jericho goes for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
NO!
Blackman gets the shoulder up as Jericho returns to a vertical base and waits as Blackman does as well. Blackman, now with the blood out of his eyes, looks furious as he goes for a clothesline but Jericho ducks underneath and goes running into the ropes. As he comes back, he leaps up and looks to grab Blackman's head for a bulldog, but Blackman knocks him out of the air with a stiff back elbow as Jericho hits the mat hard. As he hits the mat, he sits up, blood running from his nose like a faucet as Blackman delivers an elbow to the top of the head and then delivers a knee to the face. Jericho finds himself on his back again as Blackman delivers a kick to the side, causing his opponent to roll over onto his face. Blackman now drops a knee into Jericho's kidneys and keeps the knee there as he grabs Jericho by the hair and pulls him up and backward with one hand and begins delivering elbow strikes to the back of the head with the other arm.
Tom Philipps: The former Hardcore Champion relentless in there.
Corey Graves: A lot of that martial arts style coming out here.
After a moment, Blackman slams Chris' face into the mat and stands up, daring him to get back to a vertical base. Chris puts his hands down and begins to push up, the blood still running from his face as he now climbs to his feet. Once there, Blackman goes for an elbow strike but Jericho sidesteps somehow and turns, finding himself behind Blackman as he spins him around and then leaps up and grabs him by the back of the head with both hands, bringing him crashing down with a Codebreaker! Jericho goes for the cover.
ONE!

DING DING DING!
Tom Philipps: What? That's it?
Corey Graves: You're underestimating the power of the Codebreaker, Tom. He can hit it from anywhere and end the match at any time.
The action so far on NXT has been off the chain. It is now time to cut from the action in the ring as the cameras do just that. The camera flashes back to life as it shows Spike Dudley, zoomed in on a very angry looking Spike Dudley.
Spike Dudley: Last week, we heard from Dolph Ziggler. He decided that poor old Byron Saxton wasn't good enough for him and he super kicked his head off his shoulders. He decided to tell us why he joined EC3 and why his going to win the match at Wrestlemania. I don't give a damn why he sold out, I just know he did and Kevin, well Kevin decided to do a bit of commentary. Hey, from what I heard he was pretty good but he has no place being behind that table. Last week, my opponents decided to talk. Your International Champion on the other hand, just kept silent. Is that what a champion is suppose to do, just sit in the back and concentrate on the wrestling side of the business instead of the entertainment side?
Spike takes a pause, looking down from the camera, taking a moment to think it seems before he starts up again.
I decided to remain silent and let my actions in that ring do the talking. I think we can all agree that didn't happen either. Dolph Ziggler beat me. It doesn't matter what I say right now but Dolph Ziggler beat me last week. I can't even say he cheated to do it because he never actually hit me with this title belt. Not once, never ever did my flesh make contact with the gold. I have no one to blame but myself for what happened last week but I have to give credit to Dolph, he beat me at the game I knew he would. I knew his game plan but he executed better then I prepared for but Dolph E Boy, I'm telling you right now you made a mistake. Your biggest mistake Dolph, you outed the chink in my armour. You realised my mistake and you capitalised. Congrats but that match wasn't the big one. My International Championship wasn't on the line so what did your victory last week really do? I'll tell you, last week it helped me pinpoint my weakness. I cared too much about winning the right way and trying to justify myself to the referee. I got a Zig Zag for trying to be the nice guy. Fool me once, shame on me am I right? You see Dolph, this is where you made your biggest mistake, I have already got rid of that weakness.
Spike now stands at the camera, smiling ear to ear as he continues.
If you are going to try and exploit that, good luck to you because that drawbridge has closed. The last month has been rough for Uncle Spike Dudley, it seems like no matter what I do, I'm laid out on the mat looking up at someone else holding my title high. Two weeks ago, I had EC3 rip the titles from my hand and give it to you and last week, I had Kevin Steen stand tall with it. I hope you both enjoyed your time with my title because that isn't going to be the same come Wrestlemania. What are you going to do now that you have pretty much killed of my conscious? Last week was the final straw boys. After NXT went off the air, I came straight back here and I talked to the closet people to me. They helped me realise that nice guys finish last. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to help me.
The camera's slowly turn around showing Bully Ray and Devon standing in front of Spike, listening to every word.
It positions itself so it shows all three wrestlers in shot as Spike continues talking.
Spike: Last week my brothers flat out told the world I was on my own at Wrestlemania and the weeks leading up to it. I'm okay with that, I'm a big dog with plenty of fight but last week, I came up with a plan to help both of us out. A plan so brilliant, Albert Einstein would have been impressed. Tonight, tonight is the last stop before Wrestlemania but things are just getting started, so boys and girls, stay tuned because this isn't the last of Uncle Spike Dudley you will be seeing tonight.
With that, Spike lifts up the 3D sign to the camera as Devon hugs Bully from behind as the camera fades away to somewhere else.
The action of NXT moves backstage as the titantron fades from black into a view of Owen Hart, seated as if being interviewed. But there's no interviewer to introduce Owen and the camera seems a bit shakier than usual. Owen smirks at the camera before starting.
Owen Hart
This week, I find myself partnering with my opponent at Wrestlemania, CM Punk. A regular "Strange Bedfellows" match if you will, a time honored wrestling tradition. Pair two rivals together against another two rivals and watch the ensuing brawl breakdown and reel in views. But I have no intentions of starting that brawl and you all heard CM Punk, neither does he. Tonight will be business as usual for the two of us. As it always should have been.
This pairing of Punk and myself wouldn't be strange in a perfect world. Because in that perfect world, Punk would have picked up on my lesson from the start and we'd be two forces of destruction working in tandem to clean up NXT. Each on our own paths until we decided to converge and crush everyone who took safe haven in the middle. So we'll all have to settle for just a glimpse of this dream scenario as we take on Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor. Two men who...as Punk said... are entirely irrelevant to me.
What does it say about a man when the men he leads have more success than him? Where his underlings are consistently more relevant than he is? When people think of the Wyatt family, they think of Bray, the namesake, last. Because that's where he belongs, at the bottom of the pile. All he can do is talk the talk, but what will he ever do when his "Family" realizes that they can walk the walk without him? An interesting question to mull over after Mania, Bray.
And Finn Balor is the epitome of the revolving door policy that has followed the UWF around since its inception. Stars signing contracts for that bonus, show up once to collect their check and go back home, continuing to relax before they show back up as WRESTLERS. Pathetic. So tonight, Punk and I will give Balor a real reason to go home: To rehab whatever we decide to break. And then at Wrestlemania....
Owen stands up and stalks closer to the camera which starts to shake even more. Owen gets right up to the lens where his face now fills the whole screen of the titantron.
Owen Hart
I end CM Punk. This interview is now over. Glad you weren't like the rest.
Owen smiles past the camera lens at the cameraman before standing straight up and walking away. The cameraman keeps the camera trained where it's been the entire time until we hear the door open and slam shut off frame. Once that's done the camera is placed on the ground by the cameraman where we get a look at what was off-frame the entire time:
Three bodies in a heap, all still breathing but their faces bloodied, most likely by Owen. Two cameramen and an unknown interviewer by their garments. You can hear the conscious cameraman speaking into his walkie as the scene fades away.
Cameraman
Yeah....this is Randal. We're gonna need medical attention...
Fading in from the black, we're taken to a near-pitch black area outside of the arena, the background is that of a church. As the camera pans downward, there is an array of nearly-melted candles standing by. An ominous voice begins to speak.
"Candles. Like each, small, individual wishes. Like a prayer embedded in each. But, dreams, prayers, wishes, call them whatever you like. They were made to be crushed. They were made to be stopped on. They were made to be torn apart, and shown, for the world to see. Me? I have no prayers, wishes, or dreams to retort. Simply, I have a higher purpose."
"For I am the End."
All at once, the candles cut out; a sole one remains, with a dim intensity.
"I am much like the moon; bearing both the light and the dark. I, am the dimly-lit candle in every shadowy backroom. I, am neither the Hero or the Villain of this story. I am not the victor nor the loser; I am the end, and there is only the end; how the pieces of the puzzle all eventually find themselves the same way. There is only the grim finale. You cannot run from it; you cannot starve it. There is nowhere to run, and there is nowhere to hide."
The End is Coming to NXT
The scene fades to black.
The live feed heads down to the ring where Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, CM Punk and Owen Hart are standing in the ring already waiting for their match to start until...

The General Manager of NXT steps out from the back. He walks down the ramp as the crowd gives off a negative reaction. He already has a mic in hand and begins to speak.
EC3: Last week's tag team match switcharoo ended up being really fun to watch for me and so I figure why not do it again. Bray Wyatt will now be teaming with CM Punk against Owen Hart and Finn Balor. Ring the bell.

Balor looks at EC3 confused but Wyatt attacks him from behind right away. Owen tries to do the same to Punk but Punk sees it coming and manages to block the attack and retaliate with some strikes of his own. Owen tries to cover up as Punk backs him into the ropes, then clotheslining him out of the ring. Punk then dashes to the ropes to build some momentum, coming back with a suicide dive to take down Owen!
Tom Phillips: CM Punk managing to block the sneak attack by Owen Hart.
Corey Graves: Too bad Finn Balor wasn't so lucky.
Balor is on the mat as Wyatt is down on a knee just hitting him over and over again. The ref gets on Bray to get up and Wyatt listens, standing up with his hands up laughing as he walks back. Balor gets up slowly after being blindsided. Wyatt goes back on the attack but Balor blocks his punch and starts firing away with his own. He knocks Wyatt back into the ropes before running off in the opposite direction to come back with a front dropkick. Wyatt is staggered against the ropes so Ballr takes off to possible hit another until Bray meets him half way and turns him inside out whoa massive clothesline! Balor is clearly dazed so Wyatt picks him up right away and bends him over the knee, planting him with the Sister Abigail!

Tony Chimel: Here are your winners, CM Punk and Bray Wyatt!
Tom Phillips: This isn't fair, Finn Balor didn't even see the attack from behind coming.
Corey Graves: Always have eyes in the back of your head Phillips. He's going to need to learn it if he plans to win the Triple Threat match at Wrestlemania.
Punk and Owen are still brawling to the back and in the ring Wyatt gets his hand raised, a big smile on his face as the scene fades out.
The titantron switches from the UWF NXT graphic to a live feed from backstage, where Todd Grisham is standing by.
Grisham: Ladies and gent -
Matt: Friggin' nope!
Before Grisham can finish his sentence, his face gets superkicked by the (among other titles) UWF Transatlantic Champion, Matt Jackson. Matt enters the shot and is soon followed by his fellow members in The Union, Nick Jackson, The Proletariat Boar of Moldova, and Kevin Steen. The Boar stomps on Grisham's microphone before they begin.
Boar: Microphone are a tool of superiority and oppression. This interview and the air time have been seized.
Nick: Did you just superkick Todd Grisham?
Matt: I think I just superkicked Todd Grisham!
Nick: I didn't even know he worked here.
Matt: Maybe he doesn't...
Nick: ... huh...
Matt: Hmmm....
While The Bucks ponder what that might mean and The Proletariat Boar stands in the background with one fist raised in the air, Kevin Steen takes over.
Steen: I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that tonight's just business as usual. Another week, another NXT, same old, same old. Kevin Steen is gonna smash through this month's tough guy, The Young Bucks are going to embarrass some lousy tag team that's waaaaaaaaay less talented than they believe they are... nothing new under the sun, right?
Wrong. Morons.
Because this week is the last NXT before Wrestlemania. Which means that this week is the last NXT before we embarrass Ethan Carter in front of every wrestling fan on the planet. And it means that this is the last week you'll see us before we take ALL of our championship titles back. It's the last week in a long time you'll see Spike Dudley getting around without the assistance of a wheelchair. It's the last week Dolph Ziggler will have the physical capacity to run his mouth or the mental capacity to believe his own bullshit lies anymore. It's the last week that NXT will be ruined by the freakin' Carters before we take it back. At Wrestlemania, we are seizing NXT. So if you're the type of person who loves this place as it is - broken, corrupt, full of worthless "talent" and controlled by spineless, spoiled idiots - then enjoy it while you can. It's not gonna last.
There are a thousand things I could list off about why NXT needs to change, or why we're the only ones that can do it. And I could stand here and remind you why the Wyatts are a bunch of freakshow losers who are about to get beatdown by the Bucks, or why Baron Corbin is about to get his face busted in because he's almost comically outmatched. I could go on and one about how badly I want to rip Spud into pieces to Fedex to Dixie, or how I can't wait to add another huge loss to Dolph Ziggler's spotty record, or how nothing will make me happier than to stand over Spike Dudley with my International Championship on the grandest stage of 'em all...
But actions speak louder than words. And if there's one thing The Union is all about, it's action. So just watch and see what we're about to do, because NXT, the UWF and the entire sport of professional wrestling will never be the same again.
???: OI, STEEN!!
The camera quickly swings around at the direction that screech just came from. The camera shows The International Champion (without the said belt), Spike Dudley making his way towards Kevin Steen with two chairs in hand.
Spike gets right up in Kevin's face as he pretty much ignores the Young Bucks and The Boar standing beside him. Spike looks all business tonight as he continues.
Spike: Look man, I haven't come here to make friends but I certainly didn't come here to beat you down with these chairs. I have a little bit of a business plan I want to run past you. You see, these last few months, Dolph Ziggler has been making us both look like fools. I know you hate that as much as I do, I'm not one to just sit around and take it on the chin though and from my past experiences with you, you are exactly the same.
Tonight, you and I both have a match, I want to wish you good luck and I'd imagine you won't me to get injured and not make it to Wrestlemania. I don't care but I also noticed our other little friend gets the night off, maybe EC3 needs someone to cuddle, maybe EC3 needs a back massage, I have no idea why he wouldn't give his supposed golden boy a match on the go home show to Wrestlemania but what I do know Kevin, you and I, we need to find a way that Dolph Ziggler goes into Wrestlemania the exact same way we do. We are going to war tonight, I have Uso, you have Carbon but I bet my skinny little ass that Ziggler will stick his nose in our business tonight so here is my idea, I've brought you a little present. This chair right here, it's for you. It's my gift to you. I say we introduce Dolph Ziggler to our new toys and we stick our nose in his business before he does it to us. What do you say?
Spike holds the chair up, waving it in front of Steen's face. Steen seems to second guess Spike, looking towards his companions, mouthing something as Spike stands there patiently. Steen begins to nod his head, slowly reaching up for the chair. He doesn't take his eyes off Spike as he finally reaches it and slowly takes it from his grasp. Spike just smiles at him.
Spike: Good choice, now let's go find the Show Off.
Spike turns his back on The Union which is a pretty big mistake normally..... and this time is no different as Spike takes about five steps before he is whacked from behind with the steel chair he just give Steen. No surprises to guess that Steen has taken advantage of Spike's back being turned and swings. Spike let's out a scream in agony as Steen smiles, pointing to his head. He drops the chair and tells The Union to 'sick him' like a dog.
The Union listen to Steen, starting to stomp away and Spike as Kevin joins in, kicking just about every part of Spike's little iddy biddy body. Spike looks in pain but he grabs the chair that fell out of his clutches and puts it on his chest. That takes some of the damage from the kicks as he has gotten some breath back. He looks at his attackers and then say's
Spike: I was hoping you would do that.
The Union suddenly stops kicking, surprised at what Spike said as they look at each other with questioning looks on their face. All of a sudden, Nick is sent to the floor. The camera swings again showing Bully Ray with his signature chain over his shoulder and Brother Devon jumping at Matt. Matt catches Devon but his body weight is too much as it turns into a Lou Thesz Press. Bully follows suit as he mounts Nick and begins to rain punches down. The Boar decides he wants to help The Young Bucks but out of nowhere comes a flying Stacy Keibler with the International Championship in her hands as she connects with the Boar's skull. She also follows suit as she now mounts the Boar and starts to slap him over and over. All this has happened in a flash, so quick in fact Steen doesn't know what to do. He finally makes up his mind and begins to make his way towards Nick and Bully, he doesn't make it far as it's now Spike's turn to stop him in his tracks. He achieves this by grabbing his leg, unfortunately for Spike, he isn't really in a position to do this as Steen just turns and mounts him and continues on with the punches.
This brawl is getting out of control. As it stands, Bully Ray is still on Nick punching away, Stacy Keibler has slapped the living shit out of a near unconscious Boar, Kevin Steen has the upper hand on Spike, trying to collapse his skull in and Matt has just pushed Devon off of him. Matt quickly gets to his feet, so quick in fact, Devon hasn't turned around. Devon turns just in time to see a Young Buck looking foot coming straight for his head. Matt is going for the super kick...... luckily enough Devon ducks it and Matt connects with the Concrete wall behind Devon's head. Matt begins hopping around holding his foot in pain but he still has enough about him to dodge the oncoming Devon. Devon has built up too much speed and now it's his turn to hit the wall.
Steen has grabbed the chair now as he begins to punch the chair, straight into Spike's face as a very little splatter of blood appears. Bully is choking Nick with the chain now as he furiously reaches for the sky, trying to stop Bully. He isn't left waiting though as help has arrived in his brother. Matt swings his good foot, connecting with the back of Bully as he releases his grip on the chain. Bully falls on top of Nick as Matt checks up on him over Bully's shoulder. He tries to lift Bully off of him but he doesn't realize Bully has come to. He eats a back elbow as he stumbles backwards. Bully gets to his feet, looking pretty pissed off now as he punches him in the face. He follows it up with another punch to his head, and another, and another and finally, looks to deliver his bionic elbow, telling Matt to suck it..... but before he hits the Elbow, he decides it's not enough. Bully has an idea, he grabs the chain off the floor as he wraps it around his fist. He swings his fist and connects, right on the jaw. Matt hits the deck instantly, looking worse for wear.
Meanwhile, Kevin Steen is still all over Spike as he has the chair on the floor, behind Spike's head as he repeatably slams his head down onto the steel. Spike is looking really dazed now as the camera struggles to keep up. It shows Bully picking Devon up now, slapping him in the face trying to get him to come to. Devon does and that is when Bully yells at him to get a nearby catering table. Devon obliges, going over to the table and clearing it, chucking everything off, from water bottles to food to clothes. He walks back to Bully, looking ready to go as Bully points to the remaining Buck, Nick Jackson. Devon walks over to Nick, pulling him to his feet as he holds his neck. Devon grabs him by his hair and brings him towards the table. Bully has walked around the other side telling him to do it. At that moment, Devon lifts Nick by the feet, holding him up looking for the 3D...... but before he can drill Nick downwards, security guards have come from everywhere, not just one or two, about twenty have come from nowhere. Security tackles Devon to the floor, making him drops Nick forwards as security also tackles Bully to the floor as well.
Three guards each are holding The Dudleyz down as the remaining guards split to tend to Stacy and the Boar & Steen and Spike. The guards go to touch Stacy but before they can, she just surrenders, getting off the Boar, raising her hands. The guards don't bother restraining her as she surrenders but the same can't be said for Steen. Spike is pretty much barely moving as the guards grab Steen, trying to pull him off. He has a little too much power for them though as he break free and continues his attack. The guards that were with Stacy now turn their attention to Steen. The extra guards do the trip however as they manage to pull Steen off of Spike and push him backwards. Steen goes to attack again but they create a wall, blocking Steen from getting any ground. The camera zooms in on Steen's face as the sound of slow applause can be heard. After a few moments, the camera pans to the source of the clapping as a self-assured and far-too-smug-looking Dolph Ziggler struts into the scene.
DOLPH ZIGGLER
Well done, gents. Well done! You know, Spike, that was quite the wonderful gesture you tried to extend to Kevin, but ol' Steener... he's just not as clever as the rest of us. I blame it on his Canadian DNA. That, and maybe he's taken one too many hits to his head in all of those violent matches he's been in. I mean, have you seen the House of Natlav match on the UWF Network? It's only $9.99 you know.
Ziggler chuckles, perhaps happy that he's done his job as a corporate shill. Upholding his end of the bargain with the Carter Family and all that. The Show Off looks at the downed Dudley and purses his lips, tsking and shaking his head before stomping once for good measure right on Spike's chest. Then he looks up as Stacy shrieks, and takes notice of the woman who is 90 per cent legs and about 5 per cent International Championship. He walks over to her and places a hand on the belt, then tries to take it. Stacy resists and so he rips it out of her hands. Then he makes a kissing noise as he leans in toward her, so she steps back and slaps him. Dolph smarts from the hit, his head staying set and turned away from Stacy as his grip tightens on the title, and then he brings it up to an inch from her face before stopping himself from levelling her with it. Dolph then shakes his head and drops the belt.
You might know how to use your legs, but you certainly don't know how to use your brain, you dumb broad. Just like your little pint-sized prince over there. Well guess what, Spike? Fairy tales only come true in the cinema. And while Beauty and the Beast was a wonderful movie, there's no happy ending here. At Wrestlemania, boys, I'll be taking this little belt all for myself. Come Hell or high water, Dolph Ziggler's going to have his Wrestlemania moment. And the rest of you... well... what's left of you will be mere afterthoughts. Especially you, Kevin. You know... you did a good job around here. You built a solid program, you held this title for a real long time and you even helped build it up to be something worth fighting for. But as I've said before... you've lost the plot. It's time for you to be reined in. And I'm the one who's going to do the reining.
Ziggler walks up to Steen now, who is still restrained by the guards. He raises a fist, looks it over, and then throws a punch... stopping just shy of Steen's nose. Then he opens the hand up, turns his palm to face Steen and washes his face with it. Ziggler laughs then as Steen snarls at the blatant show of disrespect.
Smell yah later, boys.
Dolph stalks off, but not before throwing one last wink at Stacy, who looks disgusted as she moves to tend to her man.
The scene is taken to a darkened backstage area where Baron Corbin stands. The hardcore title slung over his shoulder.
Baron Corbin
Tonight I take on someone who I used to respect. Someone who used to rule over this brand as its dominate champion. Someone who used to be king. But now... now this man is a shell of his former self. Tonight I will show him and I will show the world that I am the new... and ONLY Alpha male of NXT. That I am this brands new dominate champion. I am the new ruler. I am... the new king.
Corbin looks into the camera
Baron Corbin
Tonight will be my WrestleMania warm up. Because at WrestleMania, I will climb the ladder and I will be the uncrowned NXT champion. So what better way to get ready than to take down a former NXT champion. And not just any former NXT champion... THE former NXT champion. Kevin, you will learn to respect me tonight. You will understand that I truly am the future of this brand. You said that many people have tried to step up to you and challenge you as the face of this brand, as the future of this brand and you were right about one thing, Kevin. They all have failed. But I'm not like them. I'm a totally different beast all together. I've made former champions fall to their feet. I've made legends bend the knee and tonight Kevin... you to will hail to your king.
Corbin nods at the camera but he face still shows a lack of emotion as the camera fades.
Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, at a combined weight of 348 pounds, Nick and Matt Jackson... the Young Bucks!
The Bucks come from the back amid a ton of heat from the fans, but the former tag champions disregard it as they get hyped up at the top of the ramp. Proletariat Boar comes out behind them and the trio then head down that ramp with a cocksure swagger before sliding into the ring and performing their signature double-flex right in the center of it, drawing further heat before they retire to their corner to await their opponents.
A solitary lantern emerges from behind the curtain, floating toward the ramp with Bray Wyatt's face lurking in the shadows just behind it. The lantern is accompanied by thousands of fireflies swaying in the stands. Wyatt descends the ramp with slow, deliberate steps, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan behind him.
Tony Chimel: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 590 pounds, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, The Wyatt Family!
They walk down the ramp and Wyatt blows out the lantern as the house lights come back up. The Eater of Worlds then sits in a rocking chair while Harper and Rowan enter the ring and prepare for the match as the official performs his final checks and then calls for the bell.
VS
DING DING DING
Matt dances around the ring to start things off, not really taking Erick Rowan seriously. Rowan just walks right up to him and tries to grab him but Matt is too fast and slippery to catch. After dancing around and avoiding him, Matt stands in place and slaps his chest asking for a tie up. Rowan goes in but Matt ducks under and pinches his nose, waving his hand in front of his face as a callback to their last match. Rowan has had enough and he walks after Matt who backs up to the ropes. He drops down to the mat and Nick comes over with a jumping enziguri when Rowan gets close enough. Matt pops back up and tells him to suck it. He runs right at him but Rowan takes him down with a big clothesline.
Rowan picks Matt off the mat and lifts him into his arms for a bearhug. Matt tries reaching back to Nick but he's too far away. Nick gets into the ring anyways and kicks Rowan in the back to the knee for Rowan to fall to a knee. Now with both feet on the mat, Matt starts hammering away with elbows to break free of Rowan's grasp. He takes fof towards the ropes but Erick grabs him from his belt and pulls him back towards him, this time lifting him up for a full nelson slam! Rowan then goes for the cover.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Nick Jackson comes in and breaks up the count with a low dropkick to the face. The ref gets on him and tells him to exit the ring while Rowan just gets right back up and brings Matt to his corner. He tags in Harper and together they brings Matt out of the corner but then throw him back in back first. Matt falls face first but Harper grabs him from the waist and deadlifts him back up and throws him back with a german suplex. Matt rolls all the way out of the ring and Nick goes out there to check on his brother. Harper pretends to pull out an arrow and draws it, aiming at the Bucks. He then runs to the ropes to build some momentum and comes back with a suicide dive to take out both brothers!
Tom Phillips: Suicide Dive! Luke Harper is no ordinary big man.
Corey Graves: No he isn't in case the cult family and the overall look of him didn't already tell you that.
Luke Stares out to the fans with a dazed look. He simply goes back into the ring and waits for the Buck to get back up. Matt and Nick are slowly helping each other up, talking to one another as Harper runs to the ropes once again and dives out with a second suicide dive! This time the Bucks counter it with a double superkick to the face! Harper ends up landing right on top of his head and the Bucks try to pick him up to toss him into the ring. Harper is dead weight however and the smaller Jackson brothers have difficulty lifting him up. Rowan comes walking around from the side to take out the brothers but they strike first with superkick stop both knees to drop him to all fours. He tries to stand back up but the Bucks hit another pair of superkicks to knock him out!
Now they get back to Harper and are able to toss him back into the ring. They both slide in after him but the big man is up already and decks them with a double clothesline! Nick rolls out of the ring but Matt is there for the pickings. Harper picks him up and lifts him up for a powerbomb. Matt tries to fight it off with punches to the top of the skull but Harper just runs forward and plants Matt with a sit out powerbomb! He stays in that position for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
And Matt kicks out!
Tom Phillips: Just when it looked like the Bucks were going to take control of this match, the Wyatt Family's size and strength put them back in the driver's seat.
Corey Graves: You know I love the Bucks as much as the NXT guy but they do have a serious size disadvantage. Luckily for them though, they have a speed and intellect edge which is why they were NXT Tag Team Champions for so long.
Harper picks up Matt and makes sure he's standing up. He runs his thumb across his throat and then hits the ropes, coming back a discuss clothesline but Matt ducks it and when Harper turns around, he eats another superkick to the jaw! Harper stumbles back into the ropes, bouncing off them and coming forward into another superkick, this time it taking him off his feet. Harper lands in place for Nick to run over and climb to the top rope. He lepas off with a 450 splash right on top of Harper! As if that wasn't enough, immediately after Matt jumps to the top and comes off with a moonsault for a variation of More Bang For Your Buck! Matt hooks the leg but sees Rowan coming in. The ref is turned away from him though so he can count Harper's shoulders down and can't see Proletariat Boar holding Rowan's leg's and not letting him come into the ring.

2 . . .
3 . . .
Tony Chimel: Here are your winners, the Young Bucks!
The Bucks quickly exit the ring and head up the ramp along with Proletariat Boar. Rowan enters the ring to check on Harper and looks back at the Bucks with a stink eye. The Bucks don't really care and continue to celebrate as they head up the ramp and the feed goes elsewhere.
The feed carries the viewers into a prerecorded segment where Dolph Ziggler is seen heading in to the arena with a gym bag slung over his shoulder. A young and faceless interviewer catches up with him and panting, unceremoniously fires off a question.
INTERVIEWER
Dolph Ziggler! Dolph Ziggler! Here you are just a few hours removed from the final NXT before Wrestlemania and I have to ask, where is your head at in advance of your triple threat contest for the International Championship?
Ziggy looks none too impressed after being ambushed by this interviewer. He gives the kid a dead eye stare as the question is asked, then snatches his smartphone right from his hand to take control of the recording, lifting it up to find the best possible angle. The kid mutters a "hey!" and the picture suddenly jerks around as a loud crack and thud is heard -- presumably, Ziggy has just superkicked the would-be interviewer. The frame finds him again, he adjusts some wild strands of hair and then Ziggler finally speaks.
DOLPH ZIGGLER
What an idiot. Shame really. He actually asked a more relevant question than most of the backstage "talent" the UWF hires. Now he will never get a job there. I will make sure of it.
Ziggler snorts a half-chuckle and then continues.
Now listen here, UWF Universe: I am done taking questions and I am done talking about the rest of the losers on the NXT roster. Dolph Ziggler is his own man, his own brand, and you can forget about showing off. No, now he is taking a page from Ethan Carter's book. Ziggy is taking over.
And it all starts at Wrestlemania. Because quite frankly, the thought of Spike Dudley as a world champion is pathetic and the thought of Fatso Steen recovering the belt might actually make me ill. Porky might have greased up that title nice and well while Carter was booking me around him, but I am going to make sure his Cheeto-coated fingers never touch it again.
Steen might have his little Union, Spike might have the Dudley Family but me? I have the franchise behind me. I was hand-picked as EC3's man because he finally woke up and smelled the sheer, overbearing masculinity of the UWF's paragon of manhood, Dolph Ziggler. I am in this to win this, boys and girls. This Wrestlemania is about building my legacy by having the most shining, golden example of a Wrestlemania moment and nobody is going to take that away from me. Period.
Dolph seems satisfied with that as he tosses the smartphone over his shoulder. It lands in the grass behind him, the frame now focused on the comatose mass of the interviewer as Dolph stalks off into the distance.
Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a non-title match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Kansas City and weighing 275 pounds, he is the UWF Hardcore Champion... Baron CORBIN!
As the motorcycle revs, the fans for the most part erupt in a chorus of booing although there is a small bit of support in tonight's NXT crowd. Then the theme kicks in, and from the back emerges the UWF Hardcore Champion, his title in hand as he takes slow, methodical steps to the top of the ramp, then holds his arms out as his side with the championship in his left hand. The fans continue their chorus of booing but Corbin simply smirks as he heads down the ramp to the ring, leaving the belt on the apron as he climbs the steps and enters it, then heads to a corner and begins stretching while he awaits his opponent.
THE UNION
Tony Chimel: And his opponent, from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Representing the First Wrestlers' Union and weighing 280 pounds, Kevin STEEN!
Stomping from the back comes Kevin Steen, breathing heavily, looking pissed you know, the usual. The audience isn't remotely split in their hatred for Mr. Wrestling as he paces from one end of the NXT stage to the other, then comes to the top of the ramp and jogs on the spot for a few steps before surging down the ramp and sliding into the ring. Steen is right up on his feet and he glares at Corbin for several long moments before heading for a corner and working the crowd, who renew their hatred with another round of booing. Steen then climbs off the turnbuckle and turns to face Corbin while the official performs some pre-match checks and calls for the starting bell.
DING DING DING!
The bell rings and immediately Baron Corbin looks to assert his physical dominance by crossing the ring at a decent clip and tying Kevin Steen up. Corbin forces Steen into a corner and holds him there by the chin with one hand while raising his massive free hand up, then brings that free hand crashing down in a clubbing blow straight to Steen's exposed chest. The longest-reigning International Champion looks positively winded by just that first blow, so imagine how he might look when Baron lands a second... and then a third... each colliding firmly with his chest with a loud thump that has the crowd "ooh!"-ing. Corbin then steps away, Steen leaning in the corner looking gassed, and the Lone Wolf pounds his chest twice before charging back in to connect with a massive full-body splash. Corbin leads Steen out in a side headlock and converts into a hip toss while keeping the headlock cinched, following Steen to the canvas. Corbin then uses one of those three-times Golden Gloves fists to straight up pound Steen on the face, repeated blows raining down on Mr. Wrestling himself for several seconds while the referee starts a count and finally orders Corbin to break it off. The Lone Wolf does as he is told and gets to his feet as the fans buzz, unused to seeing Kevin Steen at such a disadvantage this early on.
Tom Phillips: Baron Corbin came out here saying he wanted to make a statement and I'd say he's off to a good start here Corey.
Corey Graves: In truth, Tom? I wouldn't want to be in the ring with either of these men when they're on their A-game. We're in for a real treat here tonight.
Corbin finally heads back over to Steen, who is on one knee and brushing at his face with the back of a hand. Corbin grabs Steen from the back of the head, pulls him to his feet and then shoves him chest-first into the corner. As Steen turns out of the corner, Corbin hooks him up in a suplex lock, lifts him and front suplex slams him straight back down onto the canvas. This time, Corbin allows no separation, mounting Steen once more and again pummelling him only now, with alternating fists. The official again counts the closed-fist blows, allowing four before urging Corbin to get off of his opponent. Baron does so once more, heading to a corner and shaking his head as the fans boo at the official's interfering with what they consider a perfectly fair contest. Steen uses the separation to get back to his hands and knees and head for the ropes, using those to find his vertical base, albeit on somewhat shaky legs after the vicious beating he has been taking.
Corey Graves: You've got to give it to Baron Corbin I don't think I have ever seen Kevin Steen in this sort of condition, this early in a contest.
Tom Phillips: He's almost out on his feet, Corey. Kevin Steen needs to find some sort of way to get an edge here or he's in trouble and I'm as shocked as anyone to be saying that.
Steen stumbles away from the ropes and Corbin swoops right back in like a bird of prey, tying him up and driving him back into the ropes. Corbin grabs Steen by the chin and forces him back, elevating his feet off the canvas. Steen throws a wild fist, connecting flush with the side of Corbin's head. This somewhat staggers the Lone Wolf, but Corbin keeps his hold cinched in, although he allows Steen to plant his feet once more just long enough to lift a knee up and catch the longest-reigning UWF world champion in history in the gut with it. Steen slumps forward and Corbin steps back a full pace two or three paces for a smaller man before surging forward and hammering Steen with a lariat that sends Mr. Wrestling spilling over the top rope to the outside. Corbin then steps up on the bottom rope, leans over and runs his mouth at the head of the First Wrestler's Union, who has the benefit of looking up at the Lone Wolf from his back on the floor, dazed and confused. The fans are really buzzing now this is the most one-sided match against Kevin Steen that they've ever seen and some even pop to show their appreciation for the Lone Wolf's success and sheer brutality. Corbin steps to the outside and heads over to grab Steen, pulling Mr. Wrestling to his feet. He then takes several steps back as Steen looks dazed but keeps his vertical base, and surges forward looking for a big boot! Unfortunately for Corbin, Steen actually has the boot scouted and enough wherewithal to catch his leg, pull him into a clutch and lift and toss him in an exploder suplex that sends Corbin smashing spine-first into the side of the steel ring steps! The steps dislodge, Corbin hits the floor with a thud and so does Steen, the sheer momentum of his explosive power move grounding him and the beating he has endured thus far leaving him with nothing in the tank to capitalize. The fans respond to the whole thing with a "HOLY SHIT!" chant.
Tom Phillips: Well, I think the audience here tonight is basically summarizing the thoughts of anyone who just saw what we did, Corey. That exploder suplex was brutal.
Corey Graves: I'd say. That kind of thing could put a man on the bench for years. But Baron Corbin is no ordinary man.
With both men down and hurting on the outside, the official starts doing the only thing that makes sense and kicks up a count. It's Steen who finds his feet first, albeit sluggishly, and the former International Champion rolls into and back out of the ring to restart the count. Clearly, he wants to win this thing properly so as to avoid having yet another foe running their mouth. Steen heads over, grabs Corbin by his hair and throws him into the ring. He then slides in and goes for a cover.

...NO!
Immediately after the one-count, Corbin kicks out.
Tom Phillips: And in spite of that ugly throw and all of the damage it undoubtedly did to his back, Corbin kicks out of that pinfall attempt with ease.
Corey Graves: These men in the UWF are made of much tougher stuff than ordinary men, as I alluded to moments ago.
Corbin actually rolls onto his side, and so Kevin sees the bullseye on his spine, lines him up and punts him right about where he collided with the steel steps. The punt issues out a loud smacking sound and Corbin cries out, bracing his spine with a hand. Steen knocks the hand away, lines the big man's back up and punts him in the spine again! This prompts some heat from the crowd, and Corbin rolls over on to his stomach. Steen knows targeting his opponent's back is probably the most expedient way to cut the big man down to size and so he puts his boots to work as he unloads a furious round of stomps, but Corbin manages to get up to hands of knees in spite of the blows (which quickly turn to clubbing blows as Corbin becomes progressively vertical). Finally, Corbin gets to his feet and gives Steen a good shove which sends him into the ropes. On rebound, Corbin catches Steen in the End of Days clutch!
Corey Graves: Watch this!
Unfortunately for Corey, Steen has it scouted and throws an elbow that catches Corbin in the side of the head and staggers him. Steen then brings a knee into Corbin's gut to double him over before Mr. Wrestling clasps his hands together and performs a double ax handle smash on Corbin's spine, where he'd been focusing his kicks and stomps. Corbin falls to one knee and Steen hits the ropes, coming back with a running knee straight to the big man's back! Corbin falls forward face-first onto the canvas and then rolls onto his stomach, arching his back and groaning in pain as Steen again goes for a cover.

2...
...NO!
This time, it's right after the two-count that Corbin manages to break free.
Corey Graves: Baron Corbin has lost a step here, Tom. It's clear that Steen's strategy is starting to have an impact.
Tom Phillips: No matter how big you are, there's a limit to how much punishment any man's spine can take.
Steen steps over Corbin so that he is looming above the man, then grabs the back of his head and lifts it up so his face is visible. 'This is what Carter chooses to challenge me with? What a joke!' he shouts to jeers from the crowd, before unloading with clubbing blows that go over Corbin's head to land with resounding thuds on his chest. The goal is to take the wind right out of Baron's lungs and after four or five stiff blows, Steen shoves Corbin's head back down to the canvas and heads for a corner to regroup. He's still feeling the effects of the beating he took earlier, and even though he's on top with a lot of momentum his movement is somewhat laboured. The gap is everything Corbin needs to start making his way to the corner, and he uses the turnbuckles to get to his feet. When he turns around in the corner, however, Steen surges forward, looking for a splash! Corbin has this scouted and turns, throwing out an elbow that catches Steen flush on the jaw and sends him stumbling backward, then the three-time Golden Gloves boxer explodes out of the corner and skewers Steen with a thunderous SPEAR! The fans pop for the move!
Tom Phillips: Spear! Spear! Spear!
Corey Graves: I've never seen Baron perform that move, Tom. Maybe all of those months working with Roman Reigns had him learn something worthwhile after all?
Corbin immediately hooks the leg.

2...
...NO!
Steen kicks out, but only barely, the referee's hand more than two-thirds of the way to the canvas for the three count when he does. Corbin is visibly frustrated by this as he pounds the canvas with an open hand, then gets to his feet and pulls Steen back up. Corbin sends Steen into the ropes and as Mr. Wrestling rebounds, Baron picks him up and spins him for a tilt-a-whirl slam, but something in his back tweaks and he fumbles Mr. Wrestling midair! Steen lands on the canvas largely unharmed and Corbin lurches into the ropes, a hand bracing his spine as he winces and the fans gasp with concern.
Tom Phillips: Something is wrong with Baron Corbin's back, Corey!
Corey Graves: After the beating he took I'm not surprised.
Steen gets to his feet and spies the opportunity, so he hits the ropes opposite and comes charging forward just as Corbin turns around. Unfortunately for him, Corbin is ready for it and counters by putting Steen on a shoulder, surging for a corner and dropping him face-first on the turnbuckle with Snake Eyes! Corbin then hits the ropes and rebounds into a big boot as Steen stumbles out of the corner! Corbin practically falls on to the longest-reigning UWF world champion at that point, looking for the three. The fans count with him:
1...
2...
...NO!
Corey Graves: My God, Baron Corbin's giving it everything he has and he still can't put Kevin Steen away here Tom.
Tom Phillips: I thought for sure that was the end.
Steen manages a kick out at literally the last possible microsecond and Corbin, now, is starting to tilt as he pounds to canvas and gets to his feet. He hauls Steen up and sends him into the ropes yet again, this time catching Steen for the End of Days clutch but again Steen has it scouted and elbows him in the side of the head. Corbin breaks the hold and stumbles away, then explodes back around looking for a lariat but Steen has it scouted and pulls the trigger on a HUGE superkick! Corbin is stunned, but keeps his vertical base, albeit he is clearly out on his feet. Steen, seeing this, steps up into an enziguri that connects with a loud pop as the fans boo and Corbin loses his feet, falling to the canvas. Knowing this could very well be his best shot, Steen heads up top and comes off with the Bullfrog splash! He then hooks the leg.

...3!
DING DING DING!
Here is your winner,
KEVIN STEEN!
Tom Phillips: Baron Corbin has been defeated here tonight, but he said he wanted to make a statement and I'd say he absolutely has, Corey. Kevin Steen one of the most decorated men in UWF history was damn near defeated by our Hardcore Champion.
Corey Graves: That's right, Tom, and that certainly was no small feat on the part of the Hardcore Champion. Whether Steen admits it or not, Baron Corbin has proven that he deserves his spot on this roster.
Tom Phillips: It was a hell of a contest and now both of these men will look to emerge at Wrestlemania victorious.
Steen celebrates for only a few short moments before leaving the ring, and with good cause as when Corbin gets back to his feet, he is frustrated and visibly fuming. Baron kicks the bottom turnbuckle in a corner of the squared circle as he is handed his title, then throws his hair back and paces back and forth in the ring as he watches Steen make his way to the back. Annoyed, Corbin starts to make his exit from the arena as the feed moves on.
The scene opens up to Kurt Angle in the backstage area. The camera zooms in on him, and he seems to be extremely focused. Hes just thinking, perhaps about what awaits him in the next few weeks, if not months. He eventually begins to talk, not once ever looking into the camera.
Kurt Angle: One week before I finally grab what is destined to me. One week until I am crowned the Money in the Bank. One week until I am finally able to control my own fate and my own destiny. One week until all of my sacrifices pay off. One week until it becomes crystal clear that everything will change for the future of NXT, the UWF and for me. I am determined to show everyone that I still have what it takes to get the job done. I am still one of the best wrestlers in the world today.
I can prove that by climbing the ladder at WrestleMania and pulling that briefcase down. If no one respects now, they will once I capitalize in this moment. The light at the end of the tunnel is within grasp. It doesnt matter who becomes the International Champion after Mania. At any time, I can end that reign. It could be a month out, a week out, or hell, I may not even let you walk out of the arena as champion. But before I think about that, I must secure this win and the briefcase. Nothing is going to stop me from doing that. Not anyone in the MITB is going to be able to stop fate and destiny. WrestleMania is going to be my moment. I am the one who will be the next Money in The Bank, because I want that International title more than anyone else. I live for this. This is my moment, and I will not be denied.
Kurt then looks at the camera for a few seconds before glaring away again. The scene eventually fades.
Fading in from the black once more, we're taken outside of the arena once more. As such, all is taken to a shadowy backroom before an altar; dark-robed figures gather in mass around the altar in a circle, as the same ominous voice begins to speak once more.
"Stare at the circle. Look at the lost, absent faces. They stand at an altar, in worship. In black forbidding robes, they dress not with colors of despair and dread. They dress with truth. They dress with understanding. That this world is ephemeral. That end is the inevitable. The end that is me. The living tarnation that lies buried deep in my will, for that to soon be dealt to the race of man."
"Now. Does the circle stare back at you?"
All of the occult members turn to look at the screen in unison.
"The damnation that sleeps in me. will be your doom; your end. I am the end. I am impending doom. I extend beyond the realm of reason and the physical sciences -- and there is truly nothing you can do, to protect yourself, from an unburied grave -- from I -- The Parting Gift."
"It's time to sleep in the dirt."
The End is Coming to NXT
Once again, the scene fades to black.
YER, WE'RE COMING DOWN
GET UP, GET UP, GET UP
DROP THE BOMBSHELL.
The International Champion comes out from the back to massive applause. He's got the title around his waist and the beautiful Stacy Kiebler at his side. He limps down to the ring for this week's main event, still feeling the effects of that beatdown backstage.
Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Stacy Kiebler, weighing in at 165 pounds, he is the International Champion, Spike Dudley!
One half of the ever-popular duo emerge from the back along with his wife Naomi. The IC title is firmly around his waist as he begins clapping hands with eager fans the entire way down. Jimmy seems pumped for the contest and eagerly heads to the ring.
Tony Chimel: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Naomi, from San Francisco California, weighing in at 251 pounds, he is the Intercontinental Champion, Jimmy Uso!
Jimmy heads into the ring and looks across at Spike. Both men look at each other and their respective titles. They both hand them over to the referee to hands them off to the timekeeper and calls for the bell.
VS
DING DING DING
The bell sounds and both men walk to the center of the ring. Spike extends his hand and Jimmy shakes it, the crowd popping at the show of respect between the two underdogs. They then circle around each other and start to tie up. Jimmy has the size advantage for once and manages to get Spike into a side headlock. Spike goes backwards and shoots Jimmy off the ropes, the Intercontinental Champion coming back and taking down Spike with a shoulder tackle. Jimmy then runs to the ropes but Spike moves closer to him, forcing him to jump over Spike and hit the ropes again. Once he comes back, Spike is up and hits a hurrincanrana. sending Jimmy rolling out of the ring.
Tom Phillips: A nice showing here between Spike Dudley and Jimmy Uso.
Corey Graves: Are you kidding me right now? That was like the first sequence you learn in wrestling school. I can't believe how far NXT has fallen with these guys as champions.
Naomi walks over to Jimmy to give a quick pep talk. Jimmy nods intently and slides back into the ring. Spike starts a clap to get the crowd into the second tie up, this time Spike taking charge and getting a side headlock in. Jimmy lifts Spike into the for a back suplex but Spike flips right over and lands on his feet. Jimmy turns around and runs at Spike for a clothesline but Spike walks backwards and lowers the ropes for Jimmy to go sailing over. Spike thinks he's gotten rid of Jimmy but the IC Champion hung onto the ropes and landed on the apron. He grabs Spike from behind and hits a neckbreaker over the top rope! Spike bounces off the rope with a lot of force and lands face first on the mat. Jimmy quickly slides into the ring and turns him over for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Spike kicks out! Jimmy picks him up right away. bringing him all the way up onto his shoulders until Spike comes to life and wiggles free behind him. Jimmy turns around in time to eat a drop kick from Spike that sends him into the corner. Spike runs to him and hits a second front dropkick, this time in the corner, Jimmy falling face first to the mat and turning over. Spike heads straight up to the top rope, leaping off with a senton and landing straight on top of Jimmy. You can see Jimmy trying to gasp for air as Spike turns him over and hooks both feet.
1 . . .
2 . . .
And now Jimmy kicks out!
Tom Phillips: Back and forth these two men go to prove who is the better champion on NXT.
Corey Graves: I've got an answer, it's Baron Corbin. The quicker this match ends, the better.
Naomi yells out to Jimmy on the sidelines to hype her man up. Stacy gives Naomi the side eye and starts to yell out herself for Spike to put Jimmy away. Spike picks up Jimmy but the Intercontinental Champion fights him off with some shots the the gut. He sends Spike to the ropes with an irish whip and bends over for a back body drop. Spike however hangs onto the ropes to keep himself from bouncing off them. He runs over to Jimmy and kicks him in the shoulder, Jimmy now standing upright, holding onto his shoulder. Spike walks back into the ropes to get some momentum but when he comes back to Jimmy, Jimmy pops him up into a samoan drop!
Naomi cheers loudly and applauds her man. Stacy looks annoyed and slaps the mat to get the crowd behind Spike. Naomi goes to steal her thunder and slaps on the mat as well, them two along with the crowd bringing both men slowly up to their feet. Jimmy hits a forearm that staggers Spike a bit. The International Champion retaliates with a jumping forearm to Jimmy. Jimmy now chops Spike hard across the chest. Spike tries walking it off with a clear look of fighting through pain and hits a chop of his own. It's not as effective but Jimmy takes a step back nonetheless but only to give him enough room to plant a Superkick right to the jaw of Spike! He goes down right away and Jimmy quickly goes for the cover.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Spike kicks out! Jimmy grabs Spike's arm and drags him over to the corner in a seated position. He backs away to the other corner to get ready for the running hip attack but Spike knows it's coming and grabs the middle ropes to lifting himself back up. Jimmy still runs at him, changing it up and going for the stinger splash but Spike moves out of the way just in time for Jimmy to eat nothing but the turnbuckles. Jimmy turns around and Spike kicks him in the gut, using the ropes in the corner to spin around for a tornado DDT! Jimmy ends up being in a seated position due to the momentum and so Spike hits the ropes and comes back with a dropkick to the face to knock him down. If that wasn't enough, he decides to go up top, climbing the ropes as Stacy cheers him on. Naomi can be heard yelling for Jimmy to get up but it's too late. Spike leaps off with a moonsault and lands right on top of Jimmy Uso! He stays on him and hooks the leg for the cover.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Jimmy kicks out at 2! Spike calls for the match to be over and lifts up Jimmy, placing his head between his legs. It looks like he's going to try for a piledriver but Jimmy lifts him up with a back body drop. Spike tries to get up right away but Jimmy is waiting for him, grabbing his arm and sending him to the ropes. Spike comes back into a second pop up samoan drop but Spike turns in mid air and dropkicks Jimmy. Jimmy rolls back and gets up in the corner but Spike is hot on his trail. He comes running over for a dropkick but Jimmy side steps it and Spike hits nothing but turnbuckles. Jimmy stomps on him in the corner, continuously kicking away until Spike balls himself up. Jimmy then places him in a seated position and heads to the other side of the ring.
Corey Graves: Oh no here comes that stupid kindergarten call and response thing he does.
Tom Phillips: Come on Corey, it's fun. UCE!
Corey Graves: Shut up Tom!
Jimmy: OOHHH
Crowd: SOS!
Jimmy: OOHHH
Crowd: SOS!
Jimmy: OOHHH
Crowd: SOS!
Jimmy runs forward and connects with the running hip attack! Spike is dazed as hell and so Jimmy drags his limp body out of the corner and into the middle of the ring for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
But Spike kicks out! Jimmy looks a little deterred but Naomi is cheering him on at ringside. Jimmy shakes his head and knows what he needs to do. He goes straight up to the top rope, Naomi cheering him on but Stacy does the same for Spike, trying to warn him what's coming. This seems to rub Naomi the wrong way and she walks over to Stacy and starts yelling at her in her face. Both women are arguing back and forth. It's getting heated enough that it momentarily distracts Jimmy but he decides to focus and leap off with the Samoan Splash! Unfortunately for him, Spike gets his knees up in time and the Intercontinental Champion gets all the wind knocked out of him! Jimmy is stumbling around trying to recover but Spike gets up and grabs him from behind into a headlock. He runs towards the corner and hits the Dudley Dog! Stacy is cheering wildly while Naomi looks defeated as the International Champion hooks the leg for the cover.

Tony Chimel:Here is your winner, the International Champion, Spike Dudley!
Tom Phillips: Despite the attack earlier, Spike Dudley was able to power through and give the fans not only a good match but a strong win heading into Wrestlemania and standing tall to end the show.
Corey Graves: Not so fast Tom, I don't think the shows over quite yet.
Corey's right about that as Dolph Ziggler comes running down the ramp, looking to do more damage to the International Champion. Stacy is quick to inform Spike so that he notices just as Dolph hops onto the apron. Spike dares him to come into the ring as he holds the International Championship like a weapon. Ziggler just smiles and shakes his head, dropping to the floor as the crowd boos. He backs up up the ramp yelling out "Wrestlemania!" and motions for the belt around his waist. He however doesn't see that behind him, Kevin Steen comes running down the ramp, grabbing him from behind and throwing him into the steel steps!
Now it's Kevin who gets onto the apron and stares at Spike. The International Champion still has the title in his hands and dares Steen to enter. Kevin does and as Spike goes to blast him with the title, Steen side steps it and attack him from behind. Rather than see her man get beaten up for a second time, Stacy jumps onto the back of Steen and tries to claw his eyes out. Kevin is able to grab the back of her head and throws he down to the mat. Spike sees this and gets furious, coming back to life and attacking Kevin with a flurry of punches to any open body part he can find. Steen shoves him off and kicks him in the gut. He hooks his arms and legs for a package piledriver but eats a superkick out of nowhere by Dolph Ziggler! Steen is still up, dazed from the hit before Dolph finishes him off with a Zig Zag! Dolph flings his sweat down at Steen but turns around into a headbutt to the gut, taking out all the wind out of him. Spike then grabs his head and runs to the ropes, hitting the Dudley Dog! The crowd pops loudly as Spike gets back up and raises the title high over his two challengers at Wrestlemania!
Tom Phillips: Two weeks ago it was Ziggler making a statement, last week was Kevin Steen but tonight Spike Dudley stands tall! Could this be what we see at Wrestlemania!
Spike continues to celebrate as the show fades to black.
