Pyro goes off all throughout the arena and the camera zooms around, showing numerous fans all showing their support for the return of NXT, We then go ringside where Corey Graves and Tom Phillips are standing by.
Tom Phillips: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to NXT! I'm Tom Phillips and with me is my broadcast partner, former International Champion, Corey Graves.
Corey Graves: Final Battle ended in the most horrific way possible, Steve Blackman is the new International Champion. If you ask me, he should be stripped immediately and-

The General Manager of NXT steps out from the back. He no longer has a crutches or even a limp as he casually strolls down to the ring. To the surprise of many, Even Spud comes out from the back, his first appearance since being put on the shelf at Wrestlemania. He opens the ropes for Ethan to enter who already has a mic in hand.
EC3: As you can all see, I am officially one hundred percent cleared and ready to get back to my duties as General Manager of NXT!
A mixed reaction from the crowd, many remembering his past behavior.
EC3: Now let's be honest, ever since I got put on the shelf by Kevin Steen, things haven't been running smoothly. My aunt Dixie may own the place but she knows very little about running it. We lost the World Tag Team Championships through nefarious means and nothing was done about it. Steve Blackman got himself a title shot and hell actually won the thing. It got so bad that Dolph Ziggler wanted to forfeit the title. That's how poorly things have been without me in the mix.
So how am I back in charge now? Well as you know, we don't answer to anyone. We don't have a board of directors or any of that nonsense. Dixie owned 51 percent of the company. I own 30 and various other members of the Carter family own the rest. Recently however it has been revealed by Mexico's greatest lawyer and a private investigator that auntie Dixie hasn't been paying her taxes. In order to pay back the government, she had to liquidate some of her assets including selling her stock. She was smart enough not to sell to me but when you offer double what it's worth to the rest of the family, you're bound to get a few bites and so long story short, I am now the majority owner of NXT.
Another loud mixed reaction for Ethan who just has the biggest smile on his face.
EC3: So now things are going to start getting back to normal around here. It's been a bit scary this past month. Final Battle may have been the worst NXT PPV ever and yet it still got more views than whatever gimmick the other show uses to sell PPVs. Still that didn't stop the sharks from coming out to try and dismantle everything I built. I threw a wrench in those plans and now stand here feeling refreshed and ready to get back to work. So without further aduei. Who's ready for some NXT!
Now the crowd burst into cheers as they await the first match of the evening.
The lights cut out in the arena as Broken Dreams, the signature theme for Drew McIntyre begins to boom throughout the arena. Several moments pass before finally McIntyre bursts through the curtain with an arrogant smile across his face. The crowd rise to their feet booing him with every step he takes towards the ring.
Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Ayr Scotland, weighing in at 254 pounds, Drew McIntyre!
McIntyre slowly makes his way up the steel stairs, glancing out to the crowd with a sly smirk before making his way under the top rope into the ring where he crouches down, mentally preparing himself.
Tony Chimel: And his opponent, Vampiro!
Vampiro makes his way onto the entrance stage in a hypnotic swerve, to and fro his arms go in a bouncy manner for those that wish to glide their hands against his on his way down the entrance way. Vampiro makes a haste to the ring, rolling under the bottom rope and pacing himself around the ring in anticipation.
DING DING DING
The starting bell rings and Vampiro almost saunters from his corner with a smirk on his painted face as he eyes the Chosen One across the way. McIntyre seems undeterred by his opponent's mystique, and when they close and meet in the middle of the ring the Scotsman unloads with a huge smack to the face that sends Vampiro reeling. McIntyre then proceeds to assault Vampiro with clubbing blows, driving him into a corner before Irish whipping him to the one opposite. Drew charges full-tilt looking for a corner lariat, but Vampiro steps out and throws a side elbow that catches Drew hard on the jaw and McIntyre stumbles away, spitting. When McIntyre turns back around, Vampiro is there to tie him up and transition into a side headlock; Drew is held there for a few seconds before he can get an arm around Vampiro's waist, and then lifts him for a backdrop! The fans buzz over the early exchange while Vampiro rolls out of the ring, chuckling to himself, and McIntyre gets back to his feet, calling for Vampiro to get back into the ring.
Tom Phillips: An interesting opening exchange between two promising talents here on NXT and it looks like we could be in for a great match here, Corey.
Corey Graves: You've got that right, Tom. While these two guys admittedly looked mismatched on paper, things look good so far.
Vampiro steps up on to the apron and McIntyre, intended to allow no separation, comes right back at him, throwing a huge punch over the top rope. Vampiro ducks it, however, but catches the arm and holds it extended over the rope as he delivers clubbing blows with his free hand to the inside of the elbow joint. Drew cries out in pain as Vampiro then shoves him away and enters the ring, and the Scotsman spends a moment shaking some feeling back into his arm only to have Vampiro put him in an arm wrench. Vampiro torques the joint for several long seconds before positioning the Scot and dropping him with a Russian leg sweep! He then sizes up Drew's arm before dropping a knee to the inside of the elbow and applying a wristlock, using his own body weight as a means of applying pressure to the elbow joint while he contorts the wrist. McIntyre claws at the air with his free hand, then finds Vampiro's hair and grabs a fistful of it, yanking back hard and throwing his attacker off balance, freeing his other arm. There is a struggle but the big Scot ends up on top and rains down hard, hammering fists from his good hand on Vampiro's face, smearing the facepaint as he does. The official starts a count and eventually tells McIntyre to break it off, but the Scot gets one more good punch in before he does, then gets to his feet with an air of cockiness that has the fans booing.
Corey Graves: That was a brutal way for the man who calls himself the Chosen One to get back into this match, Tom.
Tom Phillips: True, and if you look at Vampiro you can see he is seeing stars.
Indeed it seems the Canadian is out on his feet as he slowly lumbers up to them, a dazed look on his eye. Drew sees this as a queue to attack and charges, lifting his boot for a Big Boot to the face, but Vampiro has it scouted and catches the Scot, then spins him around before grabbing him by the throat! Vampiro looks to be going for a chokeslam, but Drew throws an elbow that catches him and causes him to stumble away. The Scot then rushes Vampiro back into the ropes and Irish whips him to the other side. Vampiro rebounds and Drew doubles over for a back body drop but, again, the veteran has it scouted and kicks Drew flush on the jaw! McIntyre shoots up to a standing position and Vampiro clutches him in a belly-to-belly hold and then launches him in a huge overhead suplex that sends the Scotsman crashing into the turnbuckles of a corner on landing! Vampiro laughs maniacally as the move connects, and then makes his classic cut-throat gesture as the fans largely cheer over the suddenly quite violent turn this match is taking. Vampiro starts to line McIntyre up as the Chosen One uses the ropes to get to a vertical base.
Tom Phillips: Try as he might, Drew McIntyre just can't build any momentum here, Corey.
Corey Graves: The Chosen One is no slouch and he has plenty of experience under his belt, but he is still behind the curve against a true veteran such as Vampiro, who has had him scouted every step of the way here tonight.
McIntyre is back on his feet and leaning against the corner as Vampiro continues to stalk, clearly ready to put this contest away. As Drew turns and steps away from the turnbuckles, Vampiro pounces, throwing a gut-kick! Unfortunately, McIntyre catches it, spins Vampiro around and kicks him square on the ass, sending the ring veteran stumbling forward. As Vampiro recovers his balance and turns around, he does so into a THUNDEROUS boot to the face and hits the canvas hard. McIntyre falls in for the cover.
Corey Graves: That was an absolutely savage big boot and this could be it!

...NO!
Vampiro gets a shoulder up just before the three, staying in the contest. The Chosen One seems irate by the timing and stands up to get in the official's face and demand an explanation for the slow count. The official shakes his head and tries to explain the situation, and Drew shoves him. After threatening McIntyre with disqualification, the Chosen One relents, turning around and straight into a kick to the gut from Vampiro, who then connects with multiple clubbing blows to the spine of the doubled-over Scotsman before grabbing him by shoulder and waist, spinning him around and throwing him between the turnbuckles to connect hard and shoulder-first with the steel corner post! McIntyre cries out in agony as Vampiro grabs his tights and drags him out of the corner, then throws him into the ropes. On rebound Vampiro goes for a chokeslam hold, but McIntyre ducks it, springboards off the ropes opposite and as Vampiro turns around he is dropped by a springboard corkscrew lariat! The fans pop at the unexpected athleticism of McIntyre, but both men are down as the maneuver took a ton of gas from the Scotsman's tank. The official starts a count.
Tom Phillips: Drew McIntyre buying himself some time with that wildcat offence.
Corey Graves: Yeah, but that was a zero-sum assault. Both men are down now and nobody is in any position to win.

Both men start to stir, getting to hands and knees, and then one knee, and finally their vertical bases at around the same time. They close the gap and start exchanging lefts and rights, hard chops and quick jabs, stiff shoot kicks and ugly forearms until finally McIntyre gets the edge and kicks Vampiro in the gut, positioning him for the Future Shock but before he can execute, Vampiro drives him back into the ropes, breaks free and Irish whips McIntyre into the ropes opposite, and on the rebound Vampiro scoops him up and drops him with the nail in the coffin, keeping the leg hooked!

DING DING DING!
Here is your winner,
VAMPIRO!
Tom Phillips: Vampiro has brawled his way to a victory here tonight and NXT seems a whole lot more sinister, Corey.
Corey Graves: This was a powerful statement for Vampiro to make on his return to the UWF and if he can keep putting in performances like this one, championship gold may lie in his future, Tom.
Vampiro celebrates to the chagrin of the booing fans while McIntyre rolls from the ring and makes his exit. The feed eventually moves along.
The action so far on NXT has been off the chain. It is now time to cut from the action in the ring as the cameras do just that. The camera flashes back to life as it shows Spike Dudley, taping his knee whilst looking at the camera. In the background you can see Stacy Keibler fixing herself up in a mirror.
Spike Dudley: Tonight I begin a journey to reach my next destination. I'm after all the glory and I grave it. It's a different kind of glory that most people are use to however as I'm not starting a journey towards the International Championship. No, that journey has already been had, I have already stood in that ring, being handed that International Title with a tear in my eye as I celebrate. I embark on a totally different journey. Just a few weeks ago, Stacy mentioned that I would look good as a Grand Slam Champion. She isn't wrong, I would look great and my name in the history books would look marvelous but we weren't serious. We didn't think much of it..... until we saw the card for tonight's NXT. Someone held onto it, someone believes we might just be able to do it and in turn, it got my Stacy and I believing it can happen as well.
Stacy turns around now, behind Spike's shoulder as Spike looks down towards his shoe, making sure it's real tight.
Stacy: I always have faith in my man and I know full well he can do it. I have stood in his corner when he faced Jimmy Uso, when he faced Bray Wyatt, when he faced Steve Blackman, all men who have held more then one title in this business and every single time, Spike bested them. These are three great warriors, in fact one of those men just defeated Dolph Ziggler for the International Champion. It's because of this fact that I know full well, since my Spikey has put his mind to it, it will be a case of when rather then if he becomes a Grand Slam Champion.
Spike: Make no mistake about it though, whether it's the Hardcore Championship, the Intercontinental Championship or whether I have to find a Tag Team Partner to go after the Tag Team Championships, when I win one of them, I will be holding onto it. It won't just be a trophy on my way to the history books, I plan on making my waist a gold mine and I'll show you all that Uncle Spike Dudley is a diamond in the rough.
Stacy: Which brings us to the start, the first challenge my Spikey has to overcome and it comes in the shape and form of Adam Cole. A young up coming guy who we should be impressed by. It might be because he can't even pronounce Baby right that we aren't quite convinced yet. His cocky, his arrogant and he has no respect for my man, hey who does these days? It doesn't seem to be the cool thing to do but he made a mistake. He decided to make fun of my man's roots. He made fun of his upbringing and made fun of a place which made him who he is today. That decrepid bingo hall made Spikey one tough son of a female dog. He got more ass beatings then hot dinners back in the day but every single time, he learnt something. He received ass kickings that you could only dream about dishing out Cole. He took them but if you remember correctly, he sure gave out a few of his own so maybe it's time Spikey winds back the clock and goes back to that time. He does need something to bring that spark back to him, it might just be the match that catches alight and what a perfect man to test it on. Kevin Steen managed to bring out the best in Spikey and Dolph Ziggler managed to bring out the worst. You Adam, you may have just brought out the Hardcore Side and it might be a while since anyone is able to hear the words Bay Bay again.
Stacy walks over to Spikey, sitting down next to him as she kisses him on the cheek. They both look up towards the camera as it fades out into the next segment.
Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Panama City Florida, Adam Cole!
"Jekyll and Hyde" by Five Finger Death Punch blares through the arena, as Adam Cole makes his way onto the stage. He smirks as he bounces from side to side before making his way down the ramp & into the ring. He hits all four ropes throwing up a "too sweet" hand gesture, as fans throw ribbons of material up & over the ropes. Adam Cole waits for the match to begin.
LET ME SEE YOU PUT EM UP,
REACH THE SKY, TOUCH THE STARS UP ABOVE
CAUSE IT'S ONE TIME FOR THE UNDERDOG
The crowd rise to their feet as they await for the appearance of the former International Champion. The crowd raise the noise levels as Spike Dudley and Stacy Keibler emerge from the curtain. Stacy is looking fine with some glasses on as Spike is looking all business.
The couple look out into the crowd as they shower them with cheers. Spike grabs Stacy's hand and they both begin the walk down the ramp. The fans are begging for high fives and both oblige, touching the free hands with all the fans at ringside as they come to end of the ramp. Spike follows Stacy around, helping her climb the stairs. She reaches the top as Spike slides into the ring, walking over to the turnbuckle, climbing it and beating his chest whilst he looks into the crowd, meanwhile at the same time, Stacy is making her trademark entrance into the ring.
Tony Chimel: From Dudleyville, being accompanied to the ring by the Duchess of Dudleyville, Stacy Keibler, weighing in at 145 pounds, SPIKE DUDLEY
Spike steps down from the turnbuckle and comes back to the center of the ring, meeting Stacy in the ring and giving her a kiss. He shows her the way to the ropes as she climbs out of the ring, the same way she climbed in as Spike turns and is ready for his match.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Adam Cole begins to punch Spike in the face with a flurry of rights and lefts. Spike grabs the ropes which forces the official to step between the two as the fans begin to boo. After the official steps out of the way from between the two, Cole hits Spike with a thumb to the eye. Another right, another left, and then Cole irish whips Spike across the ring. Spike goes for a clothesline on Cole after he bounces off the ropes, but Cole ducks. When Spike comes back the second time, Cole hits him with a drop kick that floors little Spike. The crowd begins to jeer louder as Adam begins to taunt at the crowd and at Spike.
Corey Graves: Adam Cole looks to be in serious control of this match right now. He is really locked in.
Tom Phillips: Yes he is, but there is still plenty of time for Spike to turn things around.
Cole then goes to grab Spike by the hair, but Spike instead rolls him up.

Kick out by Cole. Who is pissed. The two both get to their feet and this time begin to trade punches. Just as Spike begins to get the upper hand, Cole hits Spike with a thumb to the eye, followed but a kick to the gut. As Spike is doubled over, Cole grabs Spikes head and delivers a neckbreaker. Cole grins as he gets up. Cole then begins to step and kick at Spike until Spike backs himself into a corner. Cole grabs Spikes hair and delivers a series of punches before irish whipping Spike into the other corner. Spike violently hits the corner and Cole chasings after him to deliver a Stinger Splash in the corner. At the last possible second, Spike moves out of the way and Cole comes flying in, hitting his head hard on the turnbuckle. Adam staggers back, Spike takes this time to climb the turnbuckle quickly and hits Cole with a missile drop kick. Another pin.

2 .
Another kick out by Cole. Spike grabs Cole by the hair and dishes out some punches of his own while he is on the ground. Cole finally gets to his feet and Spike introduces his chest to a few night fist chops. Spike irish whips Cole and when he bounces of the ropes, Spike hits him with a back elbow to the chin. Cole gets to one knee, and Spike hits him with a European uppercut. Cole tumbles backward and bounces off the ropes, and when he comes back he hits Spike with a clothesline so hard Spike does a flip in the air before hitting the ground.
Corey Graves: My God, look at the impact of that clothesline.
Cole takes a few moments to gather himself. Once Spike finally gets to his feet, Cole hits him with a superkick. Cole begins to taunt the crowd and Spike again as the boos begin to rain down once more. Cole then scoops Spike up and delivers two consecutive german suplexes and a then a third, but the third is a northen lights suplex with a pin.

Kick out by Spike. Cole is furious, he begins to argue with the ref. As soon as Spike begins to show some signs of life, Cole hits him with an enzuiguri. Cole then grabs Spikes legs and slaps on the figure four leg lock. Spike begins to writhe in paid in the center of the ring as Cole holds the lock on. Every time Spike tries to turn Cole over, Cole fights him off and keeps the pressure of the hold in his favor. Spike begins to drag and claw his way to the ropes, but to no avail. Cole keeps the hold locked on. After a few minutes that literally seems like an eternity, Spike finally is able to break the hold by getting a fingernail on the bottom rope. Cole gets up and begins to bicker with the ref. Spike then sneaks up from behind and tries to roll Cole up but the Adam grabs the ropes, his arms around the ref. The ref can't see a thing but Cole throws his leg back and nails Spike with a low blow! Spike falls back clutching his family jewels and Cole quickly hooks both legs for a deep cover.

No! Spike ends up kicking out!
Tom Phillips: The low blow almost got Spike right there!
Corey Graves: What low blow? I didn't see a low blow. Stop playing favorites Tom.
Adam Cole gets angry, once again getting in the face of the referee. Cole backs away and goes over to the corner where he starts to undo the turnbuckle padding. The ref gets on him about this but Cole walks away when he sees Spike start to stir. The ref tries to put the padding back on while Cole lifts Spike up in a vertical suplex, perhaps getting ready for the Last Shot but Spike brings a knee down on his head to drop behind him. He follows up by dropping to his knees and now hitting Cole with a low blow! He flips him onto his back for a schoolboy and yells at the ref who is still fiddling with the padding. He runs over and counts the pin.

Tony Chimel: Here is your winner Spike Dudley!
Spike has his hand raised raised by the ref as Cole is on his knees wincing in pain and grabbing his crotch.
Scene opens up to Kurt Angle in the backstage area.
Kurt Angle: So after last week, with me defeating AJ Styles once again at Final Battle, I think its safe to say that the era of Kurt Angle has officially begun. I mean, if you dont think its already begun, you would be hugely mistaken. Two back to back victories at a pay per view over one of the most prolific superstars this business has ever seen is impressive anyway that you look at it. It was honor doing battle with you AJ. But just like I promised, final battle would be our last match and it would end with you not getting a shot at this briefcase. While it makes for a good match come Summerslam, unfortunately its just not going to be.
AJ, you chose to fight me at a time when my focus is at 110%. Ive already talked about it a bit, so I wont beat a dead horse. But the tilting point was at Vengeance was I was pinned for the first time in singles action at a pay per view event. It literally still pisses me off to this day that I allowed such a mishap to happen in this ring. And to all people, I lost to Chris Jericho and his little list.
Now, on the bright side Chris hasnt disappeared for one of his ventures, yet. Hes still alive and kicking. As a matter of fact, the man actually just pulled off the unthinkable where he won the G1 Climax! Chris Jericho is the guy who was in the main event at Final Battle and he will be once again in the main event at Summer Slam. Thats very damn impressive if I do say so myself. But lets be real. The only reason you won the tournament is because I wasnt in it. I didnt need the G1 Climax Tournament win to prove myself. Ive been doing that since day one, and I validated that at WrestleMania. And if anyone was having any doubts about me, look no further than these last few weeks and those two wins over AJ Styles. I cant wait until I get an opportunity to prove that your win was a fluke. I hope its sooner rather than later.
But before all of that, I have to focus on the belt eater Peter Griffin, I mean Dunn. Pete Dunn. Hes another small blimp on the radar for me that I have to obliterate on this path. And beating him is exactly what Im about to do. Here is a man who didnt even have the guts to meet me in person before our match. He was so busy that he just had to appear on the titantron. Kudos to you Mr. Dunn. I almost thought that you werent going to show. You said that lately Ive only been appearing in placeholder matches, yet here I am in the main event about to fight you. So what are you even saying? Because lately Ive been on an unstoppable roll individually and after I beat you in the middle of this ring, what does that mean? That you are another placeholder on NXT that Ive proved is no competition for me? That Im head and shoulders above where I currently am placed on the card, including when I fight and beat you? Maybe you should have just kept your match shut if the only thing you were going to do is solidify my greatness over you.
NXT then rolls on.
Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Already in the ring, he is the Hardcore Champion, Pete Dunne!
Dunne stands there with his title hanging from his mouth, waiting for his opponent.
Kurt Angles entrance begins to blare through the PA System and all of the fans immediately begin to raise up out of their seats. The fans scream all out creating an ear deafening ovation for the Olympic Gold Medal Winner as he begins to step out from the back. Kurt has a very serious look on his face as he steps out from behind the curtain with the briefcase in hand.
He stops at the middle of the ramp for his signature pyro. The fans scream out You Rock on cue with the music that actually gets a little smile out of Kurt, a show of appreciation. Kurt walks by and shakes a few hands before stepping up the steel steps and entering the ring.
Tony Chimel: Weighing in at 225 lbs. hailing from Pittburgh, Pennsylvania, He is the Mr. Money in the Bank: Kurt Angle!!!
Angle hands the briefcase over and the ref calls for the bell.
VS
DING DING DING
Both men circle each other with their arms out, waiting for the other to make the first move. Angle comes at Dunne first but Pete quickly backs away and places his body between the ropes, making the ref pull Angle back. Dunne comes out from the ropes and gets ready to grapple again. Angle comes forward but but this time Dunne rolls out of the ring. The crowd boos him but he's just got a big smile on his face, casually walking around the ring. He doesn't see however that Angle rolls out of the ring and comes up behind him with a clothesline to the back of the head!
Tom Phillips: Kurt Angle is fed up with Dunne's inaction and is looking to take matters into his own hands!
Corey Graves: I'd say the last thing you want to do is piss off Pete Dunne but a pissed off Kurt Angle is just as dangerous.
Angle picks him up from off the floor and back suplex's him onto the barricade! Angle is all business tonight, throwing Dunne back into the ring and immediately climbs to the top rope. He looks back to make sure he's still not moving before leaping off with a moonsault! Dunne however rolls out of the way just in time and Angle eats nothing but the canvas! Dunne quickly runs over and puts picks up Angle's head form behind, putting him in a dragon sleeper. He has him in a high angle, facing up towards the ceiling. He actually ends up falling back and wraps his legs around Kurt's body.
Corey Graves: Look at the torque on the surgically repaired neck of Angle's. I'm not sure he can get out of this.
Tom Phillips: I wouldn't count out the Olympic Gold Medalist just yet. How many times have people doubted him and he continues to impress.
Angle claws at Dunne's arm to try and loosen the grip but Dunne just squeezes tighter. Mr. Money in the Bank ends up shifting all his weight to the left before turning to the right and using his momentum like a pendulum to finally roll over and reach out to grab the ropes. Dunne keeps the hold locked in until a 4 count just to add more pain. Angle is trying to recover, using the ropes to stable himself but Dunne comes running over with a big european uppercut that knocks Angle down to the floor below! Rather than give him time to breathe, Dunne exits the ring and picks up Angle, tossing him right back in. He follows him in and goes for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Angle kicks out! The Bruiserweight stands up and gets in the ref's face thinking it was a slow count. Angle meanwhile crawls over to the corner and starts to pick himself up. Dunne turns and sees him just dazed in the corner. He runs over full force and tries for a european uppercut but Angle ducks just enough to miss most of the blow but actually wraps his arms around Pete's waist when he turns at the tail end of the uppercut. He turns him around and Dunne tries to grab the ropes but it's too late as Angle throws him back with a german suplex. He keeps the arms locked and rolls over to hit him with a second german suplex! He rolls through once more to finish the trifecta with a third german, this time releasing. He goes over to Dunne's body and hooks the leg.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Dunne kicks out! Pete tries crawling over to the ropes but Angle ends up grabbing his foot, the crowd cheering as they know what's coming next. He goes to twist the ankle but Dunne flips over and brings his legs in before pushing Angle off of him. The Olympic Gold Medalist comes running back at Dunne but the Bruiserwieght lives up to his name by delivering a stiff forearm shot to the face that stops him dead in his tracks! He then scoops up Angle and drops him down with a Michinoku Driver, keeping a hold of the legs for the pin.
1 . . .
2 . . .
Angle kicks out! You can see Dunne start to get a little frustrated as he snarls and pulls at his hair.
Tom Phillips: It looks like the Hardcore Champion is starting to get a little riled.
Corey Graves: That's just his demeanor all the time. He's a cold and calculated wrestler so when things don't go his way, it only makes him more dangerous.
Dunne gets back up and grabs Angle by the chin and forces him back up. He punches him right square in the face. Angle retaliates with one of his own but it doesn't have as strong an effect. Dunne punches him again and again, backing him to the ropes. Out of nowhere, Angle catches him off guard with a headbutt right to the nose! Dunne is dazed and so Angle wraps his arms around him and throws him overhead with a belly to belly suplex, Dunne going tumbling to the outside!
Not wanting to wait, Angle goes to the outside and picks up Dunne, throwing him right into the steel steps! Angle is a man on a mission, not wanting to waste any time as he picks him up and this time throws him into the steel ring post, the ringing noise being heard throughout the arena. The referee reaches a count of 5 and so Angle goes back into the ring. He pulls his straps down and flex's as the crowd cheers on. Dunne is groggy however but fights back to his feet. He looks at Angle who is daring him to come into the ring. Instead Pete walks over to the time keeper's area and grabs his Hardcore Championship. He act slike he's going to come in and use it on Angle but instead he simply walks around the ring and goes up the ramp. The crowd boos but he just shakes his head and turns to leave as the ref reaches a count of 10.
Tony Chimel: Here is your winner by count out, Kurt Angle!
Angle gets his hand raised but he doesn't celebrate too much, instead fixing his gaze on Dunne. Once he's finally gone, Angle goes ahead and celebrates a bit until the scene fades out.
Chris Jericho: So what's next? I promised I'd beat Kevin Steen, and I did. One month later, he's on the shelf. I promised to win the G1, and I beat Spike Dudley, Jimmy Uso, Pete Dunne, and Aleister Black to become the new number one contender to the International Championship. Now, I'm promising to you all that I WILL win the title at SummerSlam. I don't care who it's against. If it's Blackman, then it'll be a simple task. I've done it before. In fact, I've won against him twice in the past few months. But if Dolph Ziggler somehow get the title back before I get my match, his reign will just become an extra accolade for him to gloat about. He won't be able to kick me in the parts this time. I'll be wearing a cup. Well, maybe. That's if I remember it.
But what am I doing addressing Ziggler? This message goes directly to Steve Blackman. Congratulations on becoming International Champion. You've come a long way and I made a good choice not picking you in the G1. I let you have your moment. Now it's my turn to get my shot in the spotlight. SummerSlam, here I come. I hope you're ready.
Jericho gets up and walks away, only to run into the one and only Renee Young.
Renee Young: Chris, congratulations on the victory at Final Battle.
Chris Jericho: How the hell do you still have a job?
RY: I'm going to ignore that. Do you have a message to the new International Champion Steve Blackman?
CJ: I literally just took care of that.
RY: Fine. Also, I've been hearing rumors of a UWF vide-
Jericho throws his hand over Renee's mouth to cover it.
CJ: How did you find out about that?!
Random UWF Person: Mr. Jericho, there's a call for you from 2K, something about a UWF vide-
CJ: Shut up! That doesn't exist. It never will exist. None of this ever happened! This is all your fault, Robo-Renee! You deserve to get fired!
A seemingly paranoid Jericho runs off-camera and the other two just shrug their shoulders and go about their day as NXT rolls on.
Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the Unified World Tag Team Championships! Already in the ring, Jimmy and Jey, The Usos!
Both Jimmy and Jey throw there arms up to cheers form the crowd. The lights go out and the crowd grow hushed as they know what is coming next. Soon the Organ begins to play
Fire erupts from the stage and in the ring and the explosion signals the entrance of the Big Red Machine, Kane. Kane comes out accompanied as always by his father, and mouthpiece, the legendary Paul Bearer. Bearer looks slimey as he walks down to the ring, Kane meanwhile looks emotionless through the mask.
Tony Chimel: And their opponents, being accompanied by Paul Bearer, he is one half of the World Tag Team Champions, Kane!
The Big Red Machine hops up onto the apron and takes a giant step over the top rope. Kane ignores everyone in the ring and just lifts his arms up into the air and sends them crashing down. Fire engulfs the ring.
DING DING DING
Jey wants to start things off, seemingly no fear in his eyes. He's bouncing around the ring, trying to find the right way to attack Kane but the big Red Machine just stands there stoic looking, not even giving Jey the slightest hint of where to attack. Jey decides to just run at him and jumps up for a splash in the corner but Kane catches him by the throat in mid air! Jey ends up kicking Kane in the gut to break his grasp and hits him with an uppercut. Kane is barely phased by this and hits an uppercut of his own, Jey flying down to the mat but he rolls himself back up to his feet.
Tom Phillips: Looks like no matter what Jey does, he just doesn't seem to have an answer for Kane.
Corey Graves: Well let's not kid ourselves here, these are the Usos and this is Kane. It's a complete desperation move by EC3 but a necessary one. If he ignores the injustice done to the Young Bucks despite how much he disliked them, that makes him look bad. Of course the Usos fighting for the sake of NXT isn't much better.
Jey ends up tagging in Jimmy and upon entering, he assist Jey in an irish whip to Kane who just lifts up his boot and wipes Jey clean out. Jimmy comes flying over though and hits him with a jumping forearm smash, the first real bit of offense from the Usos. With Kane backed into a corner, Jimmy continues to hammer away with shots to the midsection but Kane just shoves him away and comes out of the corner. Jimmy runs up to him but Kane uses his own momentum to lift him up and spins him around with a sidewalk slam! He stays on him for the cover.

Jimmy kicks out! Kane gets back to his feet and brings Jimmy up along with him. He picks him up high above his head in a military press slam but Jey comes back into the ring and kicks Kane in the stomach. Jimmy is able to land on his feet after that and together the Usos try to whip Kane to the ropes. The big Red Machine holds his ground and pulls them in for a double clothesline but they duck under it just in time. Kane turns around to face them again but this time eats a double superkick to the jaw! The World Tag Team Champion is stunned but not taken off his feet, merely stumbling backwards and leaning into the ropes. The Usos run forward and manage to clothesline him over the ropes! Kane however lands right on his feet!
Jimmy and Jey look at each other and nod. Jey goes first and runs over to the ropes, leaping over them with a plancha onto Kane! The Big Red Machine however catches him with ease, a look a shock coming across Jey's face. Jimmy now runs over and dives out as well, this time the brothers finally taking Kane off of his feet! He ends up seated against the barricade and Jimmy gets back up. He looks around wide eyed and clasps his hands together, reallying the crowd with his war cry.
Usos: OOOHH!
Crowd: SOS!
Usos: OOOHH!
Crowd: SOS!
Usos: OOOHH!
Crowd: SOS!
The Usos then sprint full speed at Kane and execute a double running hip attack to the seated Kane! The crowd is on their feet, the World Tag Team Championships coming back home to NXT as the brothers toss Kane into the ring and Jimmy scurries into the cover.
1 . . .
Kane kicks out at 1! The look on Jimmy's face says it all. He backs away slowly, his gaze never changing as he stares in amazement of Kane. The monster then sits up drawing a response from the crowd. Jey comes out of nowhere though and superkicks him back down! He now runs over to Jimmy and tries to snap him out of it. Jimmy finally comes to and decides to go up top. He climbs up the turnbuckles and readies himself at the top. He leaps off the ropes with a splash but Kane ends up sticking out his arm and catching him by the throat!
Tom Phillips: The Samoan Splash countered by the Tag Team Champion!
Corey Graves: If Kane finally helps us get rid of the Usos, I'm honestly fine with the titles staying on Warzone.
Kane gets up to his feet all while still holding Jimmy by the throat. Jey comes back in and gets a hand wrapped around his throat. Kane lifts them both up as if they were nothing and hits a double chokeslam! Jey goes rolling out of the ring while Kane places his boot on Jimmy's chest, displaying his dominance.

3 . . .
But no! Jimmy gets the shoulder up!
Tom Phillips: My God! Jimmy Uso is still in this!
Corey Graves: As dumb as they are, they have a lot of heart. It was probably the nonchalant cover that did it though, much easier to get a shoulder up when there's no pressure on you.
Kane looks down at Jimmy and then to Paul Bearer. Bearer just bods with a evil smile coming across his face. Kane slowly runs his throat across his neck, a sign of the end coming. He bends over to pick up Jimmy and it's all dead weight. If it wasn't for the shoulder coming up, one would think him a dead man but Kane doesn't care, he's there to finish him. He turns Jimmy upside down and drives his head into the mat with the Tombstone Piledriver!

Tony Chimel: Here is your winner, and STILL the World Tag Team Champions, Kane!
Kane looks down at Jimmy who looks absolutely destroyed. Kane however grabs him by the throat and lifts him back up to his feet. The crowd boo's loudly but the Big Red Machine doesn't care as he simply chokeslams him once more! The bell is ringing multiple times but Kane doesn't care, he grabs Jimmy once again except this time when he lifts him up, he chokeslams him all the way down onto the floor!
Multiple referees come out from the back but are too afraid to actually touch the Tag Team Champion. He decides to finally exit the ring and it seems like the chaos might be over but instead Kane grabs Jey now and turns him upside down. The refs try to get him to put Jey down but to no avail. Kane instead walks over to the ramp and nails Jey with the Tombstone Piledriver! The ref finally goes over and talks to Chimel.
Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen the referee has reversed the decision, therefore your winners, The Usos!
There's a slight spattering of applause.
Tony Chimel: However Still World Tag Team Champions, Kane!
Paul Bearer and Kane don't care, they've made their message loud and clear that no one on NXT can touch them. They calmly head to the back while the camera focus's on the down Jimmy and Jey until the scene fades out.
As Pete Dunne walks backstage, full of emotions and his trademark temper after his match with Kurt Angle, he's approached by an interviewer.
The Intervierer: Pete, wh-
Pete Dunne: Oh, shut up, bloody hell. Keep that inferior mouth shut for once. You'll ask me what just happened, what did I do, why did I do it when I never do these things, well mind your own fucking business, because my plans are too damn sophisticated for your shallow brain. I fail to find a reason to explain anything to you, to Kurt Angle, to the audience, to anyone, I've achieved the point that has driven me to the far end. The far end, where I cannot stand the bloody sight of any of you and I cannot stand this federation anymore. Is that understandable and comprehensible enough for you, you slutty little brainless eyecandy model hired for her looks, holding a microphone like it was male genitalia?
The interviewer tries to respond somehow, but she's interrupted before she can say anything.
And yes, I am rude and I am impolite, but what are you going to do, commit suicide? Cry in the chairman's office? I can do whatever the bloody hell I please, I'm fully entitled to it. I still am Pete Dunne, I still am The Bruiserweight, I still am unstoppable, I still am the Pitbull and I still am the fastest rising professional wrestler in the history of this sport. And I still don't care about anything, but I have reached a breaking point and I bloody deserve the right to fucking call it quits for once. I'm not forfeiting, I'm not leaving the UWF, I'm not even leaving NXT. But it's time for a change. It's time to do something different for once. It's time to move on, because this little cycle, this little loop of the same events every single week has to end and it has to end by someone's hand. Ethan Carter, or Dixie, or whoever runs this circus, they have zero power over me and it's always been that way. None of you can touch me. In fact, if any of you think you can, I'm a champion. I'm holding a title. I should be your fucking target, but instead you all are avoiding me like a plague and I fully understand you, I also wouldn't like to be embarrassed by a man of a half of the size of the most of you, but newsflash, that's life. That's how it all works and if you don't like it, quit this job, go be a plumber, a gardener, a cook, a taxi driver but this, this is what the wrestling business works like. This is no "pipebomb", this is not a "shoot" like most of you inbred internet fanboys think. This is an insight on how does this industry bloody look like. I'm leaving now. This championship belt, it's leaving with me. I'm not mimicking an event from the past, I'll be back very soon. Very soon. But when that happens, everything will change. Everything.
Pete Dunne walks away and leaves every single person in the arena confused.
Fading in from the black, we're taken to Aleister Black's shroud where we see him holding in the Intercontinental Championship by his side like a child dragging his toy against the ground. The Champion speaks-
Aleister Black: One man once said, that only the unknown frightens men. But once a man has faced the unknown, that terror becomes known. Saint-Exupery was right generally speaking, anyway but Aleister Black is another kind of terror. Aleister Black is the kind of terror that doesnt end, that when you strip the unknown more and more, the more depravity is revealed like the unveiling of a bride. Was I beaten in the finals? Was I defeated? Was I vanquished? Perhaps so. But lest we remind ourselves that Im still the champion of this belt.
Aleister raises his Intercontinental Championship high for the camera to see
Aleister Black: That means something. Whether anyone on this roster wants to foolishly convince themselves, or anyone else otherwise, Ill remind you of your ignorance. With every jab, with every kick you will remember that I am the dreadful, yet rightful Intercontinental Champion. Jericho and Blackman can battle it out in the main event, but Aleister Blacks going to be right here in the thick of battle because he wouldnt have it any other way.
Aleister Black: I dont live in the spotlight. Im not the high roller. Im not the limousine rider. I am the denizen of the shade that corrupts, and I relish in it. I am not some force like material beings like Jericho, or Blackman, or Ziggler can simply keep down for good. I just keep coming back, and back and back And, back. This isnt settled in the ring anymore, people. This is the bigger picture and the bigger picture is, is that youre all too small, and too insignificant, to make a mark, against an occult superbeing, in the apparent form of Aleister Black. So just fade... Fade to black.
The scene fades to black, as NXT rolls on.
We hear this theme song, and we see Blackman and Snow coming down to the ring. Then we see Snow, holding his newly crowned International Championship on his shoulders. Then, Snow assit the champion into the ring, and both enter. Then his theme cuts off and he hears cheers as he walks around with the International Title. Then Snow hands him a mic as he props the title proudly on his shoulders.
Blackman: I never thought the day would come I would hold the International Championship with pride. I mean, at first I did not want to chase after it at first, but then by the fate of Snow I had to do what needs to be done.
Crowd chants out his name in unison.
Blackman: Honestly, at first I sense that Ziggy had decided to quit on me. I mean, early in that match he wanted to hand in the belt to the ref and forfeit it against me. He wanted the easy way out, and no have to suffer the consequences of his actions towards me. Hell, when he dropped that infamous promo against me on the monitor, I had a sense that he knew that his day of reckoning shall pass to him. IF Ziggy wants, I can can give him another chance at the title at this MOMENT . NOPE.
The duo have a full belly laugh at that statement.
Blackman: Hell, he had his chance to prove why he is the Show Off, and could not show off enough focus to defend his championship like a true champion. Heck, if it was up to me, he would have to wait in line to go after something that he almost decide to throw away like if it was briefcase or something. I seen the results of G1 and let me tell you, Jericho has a better chance at me for hunting this belt than Ziggy who could not even pay his own big bodyguards to defeat Headcheese.
Believe me, I would not put it past him for him to want a rematch for it, well
COME ON OUT HERE, AND PROVE TO ME WHY YOU DESERVE A REMATCH!
Blackman looked heated enough for Snow to back way from him. Suddenly
...the fans erupt in a huge wave of heat as the music of the now-former International Champion hits the arena soundsystem. Dolph comes trotting out from the back looking pissed, with a microphone already in hand. As he walks down the ramp, he opens up his first salvo on the Lethal Weapon.
DOLPH ZIGGLER
You want to know what I think is really sad? Like, it's beyond the realm of sad, really. It's to the point that most objective observers would refer to the situation as 'pathetic.' I'm talking about this whole charade that you're talented, or that you're somehow a person to be feared, Steve. See, sure, you have the UWF International Championship and that ostensibly makes you the top dog on NXT but in reality, who respects you? Who looks up to you? Who sees you as anything other than a guy who is around to make up the numbers on this ailing brand's pathetic roster? Exactly nobody, that's who.
Dolph shakes his head and snorts with derision as he lowers the mic to jog up the ring steps. He then walks slowly along the apron and steps between the ropes as he continues.
What's worse is you think it's some kind of achievement, what you did to me at Final Battle, and these stupid, inbred fans are inclined to agree with you. You think you proved something that night, came into your own and asserted yourself as the man on this show. But in reality, all you did was reveal your true colors for everyone to see: you're weak. You're a snake. And you're a coward. You knew full well my intention was to come out and surrender that title to you, and rather than just take the belt and walk out, you decided to jump me from behind and... what, exactly? Try to make some kind of statement? Try to force me to defend a title I had long since deemed worthless? I still don't understand why you thought it was necessary to not only lay your grubby little troll hands on me, but to do it so soon after jerking yourself off in the back and while I was in the middle of holding up my end of what I thought was a good-faith agreement when I decided to come down to the ring. I mean, I could have stayed in the back and just refused to come out. I could have made you wait for the full ten count and the official forfeit. But I decided to do everyone a favor and get it done with quickly and how was I repaid? With a violent assault while everyone in these stands and at home cheered like the desensitized sociopaths they are. To Hell with all of you.
Ziggy snarls the last bit, and he runs his free hand through his hair as he looks at Snow and then Blackman, shaking his head.
So you stand there and yell about how I need to prove that I deserve a rematch? Fuck you, man. I don't even particularly want a rematch, because a rematch would imply that I'm fighting for that worthless piece of leather and aluminum you're wearing and I don't give two shits about it. No. I don't want a rematch because rematches have rules, I want a street fight where I can beat the living piss out of you and leave you swimming in a pool of your own piss and blood and sweat and tears. I want a fight where there are no rules and no officials and no one to count a cheap 1-2-3 after a cowardly attack from behind. I want a fight where the only aim is to make the other guy hurt so much that he passes out from the pain and then only then will I be satisfied. Because once you laid your hands on me at Final Battle, Blackman, you made the biggest mistake of your UWF career. You touched a God. You took it upon yourself to reach out and assault the paragon of greatness himself and now... now you'll pay the price for it...
With that, Ziggler lowers the mic and turns as though he is about to leave, but then at the last possible second he unloads a MASSIVE superkick to Al Snow that sends him tumbling over the top rope and crashing to the floor outside! The fans immediately start to boo as Ziggy Lou Thesz presses Blackman and starts pummelling him hard on the forehead with the butt of the microphone, a loud POP! punctuating every landed blow on the arena soundsystem. Blackman tries to get hands up to defend himself but Ziggler just keeps on with the relentless assault and after a few moments, he has busted the Lethal Weapon's skull wide open! Security start to stream from the back as Ziggler climbs off of the bloodied Blackman, dropping the mic in the process. The security slide into the ring and immediately grab the former champion by his shoulders, dragging him back from the writhing body of the current UWF International Champion. Ziggy then grins widely as security shout at him and Blackman slowly uses the ropes to get to his feet.
Tom Phillips: A savage mauling from the former UWF International Champion on the current one! Someone get security out here!
Corey Graves: Hey, nobody called for security to save Ziggler when Blackman attacked him like a coward at Final Battle. This is just a cheating asshole getting his comeuppance.
Tom Phillips: Oh, come ON! That's so ridiculous it hurts.
As Blackman gets vertical, Ziggy breaks loose of the hold security has on him, charges and hits a Zig Zag! Blackman hits the canvas hard and lies there seemingly motionless as the fans boo even louder. Ziggler then gets to his feet and wipes his hands together as if to gesture he washes his hands of everything, then exits the ring of his own accord with two security guards marching on either side of his flank. As Ziggler is halfway up the ramp...
Corey Graves: What?
Tom Phillips: Oh, you've got to be kidding me! Kurt Angle, Mr. Money in the Bank! Is this what we think it is?
Corey Graves: It's the cash in!
Angle comes out from the back looking pumped and to a huge mixed reaction from the crowd. The Angle fans in house are of course excited to see the Olympic Hero in this big moment, but some are reserved given the circumstances of Ziggler's brutal attack. As Angle passes Ziggler, the two pause and Dolph clenches his jaw as he glares at Kurt, who simply smirks and nods before continuing on his way straight past the security detail and into the ring. Dolph is escorted to the back as Angle turns over his briefcase to an official and explains what he's doing. The official nods and informs Tony Chimel, who grabs a microphone.
Tony Chimel: The following contest is a Money in the Bank cash-in match, for the UWF International Championship and scheduled for one fall.
DING DING DING!
Blackman is already out of it as Angle simply pulls him to his feet and lifts him up and over with the Olympic Slam! Kurt then hooks the leg

DING DING DING!
Here is your winner, and the NEW
UWF International Champion...
KURT ANGLE!
Tom Phillips: Well, fans might have whiplash but we have certainly seen a lot in these ten minutes, Corey! And we have a new champion!
Corey Graves: Ziggler demanded a rematch but doesn't care about the title. It's clear Kurt Angle cares about it a lot, and that's why he decided to use his Money in the Bank briefcase to strike while the iron is hot. Now Kurt is the face of NXT.
Tom Phillips: But for how long? Blackman is sure to want revenge, and the G1 Climax winner is sure to want a shot at the belt, as well, Corey!
Corey Graves: Nobody can answer that question, Tom. But from the sound of it, these fans want this title reign to last.
There's huge positive support for the only Olympic gold medallist in industry history's big title win as Angle climbs a turnbuckle and holds it high, a recovered Al Snow pulling Blackman out of the ring and helping him to the back while the championship celebration continues.
